UAE ministry revokes licence of Ajman’s Horizon University College over violations

The decision effectively brings all operations at the institution to a halt. The college is now barred from delivering any higher education activities, including teaching, student recruitment, programme promotion, awarding qualifications, and issuing academic transcripts.

In response, MoHESR has moved to ensure that currently enrolled students are not left in limbo. Working alongside relevant local authorities, the ministry is coordinating the transfer of affected students to alternative accredited institutions so they can continue their studies without disruption.

Just a thought...

I see many posts here regarding meet ups, trying to make friends and all that.

Some of you might come from different parts of trivandrum. Rural or semi urban, there will be sights, nature and unexplored places where you can possible explore with a redditor and maybe make good memories.

Another idea would be grouping based on interests. Like if one is interested in photography may go for a photography walk and may help those interested in pursuing that hobby.

Likewise for those interested in culture, nature or movies or bike rides.

Indian passport services in UAE: Alhind explains delay in launch of consular centres

In a press release issued on Friday, the company said the commencement of its Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) services on behalf of the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi, and the Consulate General of India, Dubai, originally scheduled for July 1, has been "deferred until further notice due to administrative reasons communicated by the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi."

This comes days after the handover of the Indian passport and attestation services from previous operators BLS International and SGIVS Global Services was delayed by a legal battle in Delhi, as reported by Gulf News.

Tourism is something I enjoyed during the last govt, should I be worried about it's deterioration?

Some well maintained and introduced tourism projects were developed by last government.

One such project includes Kovalam Arts and Crafts Village. Along with similar lines, I had an opportunity to visit Sri Chitra Arts Gallery which showcases paintings of Raja Ravi Verma along with many historical works including Aurangzeb handwritten Quran.

The zoo which I visited after many years(20+ years), appears to be well maintained from last time i remember with many additions.

Should I do a speed run and visit tourism sites before they become less maintained or will they be equal focus during this tenure?

I read about 300+ crores in budget for tourism and that included muziris heritage project.
