What is on-screen marking system at centre of row over CBSE Class 12 results?

Not seen any debates or discussions on this. When papers are manually corrected, there is also a human impact ie. back in the days when a student was nearly around passing mark, the evaluator will try hard to push it to 33 and pass the student rather than withholding.

Also, cbse itself accepts its not fool proof. Light ink can't be read through the scan machines. Had to do it manually.

And lastly, how well are evaluators adapted to working with tech.

Aren't socio economic conditions warranting free bus travel nearly absent in our state?

I remember reading a piece about free bus travel when AAP iirc, introduced it in Delhi.

The key points were women safety where they have to depend on other vehicles to reach home particularly at evening shift made them easy targets and the economic cost of travel for some households where a simply bus ticket can stop a woman from going to work or study.

By giving mobility, one hurdle is removed and it enabled women for slightly improved labour force participation(the article put up the stats).

Now coming to our state, are these conditions present to warrant such a promise by UDF?

What is the social cost of providing such a subsidy? And isn't this anti competitive in nature where pvt players are pushed out?

On the plus side, if women who used to take two wheelers, move into bus, that will possibly free up road. But there lies a chance where overcrowded buses(often a fixed capacity) will be pushed out from using it(further reducing the revenue).

India can’t become a developed nation with ‘rewari’ culture: Hardeep Puri

What is the party's take on this?

Ithokke mariyo? I see them promising free bus rides in WB.

Innu kurachu chechis sarkar athikarathil verum mumbu free ayi yatra cheyyanam enokke paranju kandu.

Sadly, a woman conductor said she will have to pay it out from her pocket.

What year is this? Is it the 90s again?

All of a sudden, someone comes and says, we are fucked.

We need to do wfh, stop buying vehicles, stop building construction.

So my question is, what happened to the all is well narrative the govt has been pushing so far?

Now i know for a fact that forex concerns doesn't happen overnight. The stress gets built up overtime.

Its not like Indians went on a import buying spending spree or going abroad on lavish vacay. We still have around 600 billion+ dollars forex in our kitty and it is dropping.

I also don't understand the rationale for curbing gold imports considering its one of our main export earners.

And what's it like, 2 months in war?

What happened to the renewable push?

There are lots of questions but no one is bothered to ask.

‘What is the need for girl education?’ Major backlash over Bihar minister’s remarks

Bihar’s newly appointed education minister, Mithilesh Tiwari, courted controversy on Monday when he said that girls were not required to study, as they should remain within the four walls of the house.

Interestingly, Mithilesh Tiwari was a teacher, holding a BA (Honours) degree in Economics, before joining politics. He also ran a coaching institute in Patna for some time.
