Beginner artist looking for trades for his Pokemon characters! (One slot open)

The second Trainer, the Grung, and the Drow aren't my characters, they're just art examples.

As a brawler it's scary 'cause it eats its Berries, it's Alwotaiyam the Sailor Mon!

I chose Popeye to make into a Mythical Pokemon because Texas loves Popeye and has a nearby sea. Also, Mastertofu0 on Discord helped with the name.

Hamwotaiyam

Hammer + A corruption of “I yam wot I yam”
Type
Berry Eater Pokémon

Evolves into Alwotaiyam after eating 20 Berries

Biology: Hamwotaiyam is a shark Pokémon with green skin and a hammerhead. Its pectoral fins are quite large, and it uses them and its caudal fin to sort of waddle around on land.

Pokédex Entry (Earth): Unlike a typical shark Pokémon, Hamwotaiyam eats more plants than meat. It is quite strong for its size.
Pokédex Entry (Space): Known for its heroics and bravery, it often gets along well with Smoliv.

Ability: Eat to the Finich
When this Pokémon eats a Berry, its Attack and Defense are boosted by 1 stage.

Alwotaiyam

A corruption of “And that’s all wot I yam”
Grass/Water
Berry Eater Pokémon

Evolves from Hamwhataiyam after consuming 20 Berries

Biology: Alwotaiyam is a humanoid shark Pokémon with a hammerhead. It has seagrass-green skin, a thick chin that’s split down the middle, and massive arms that end in massive hands. Its legs end in fin feet that resemble swim fins, though far shorter so it can move around without tripping.

Pokédex Entry (Earth): An incredibly rare seafaring Pokémon. It uses its immense power to help those in need.
Pokédex Entry (Space): This Pokémon usually has the strength to lift a train with one arm. If it has recently eaten seagrass or a berry, it can lift an aircraft carrier.

Ability: Eat to the Finich

How do I write a character that’s a homicide detective?

I’m into writing fanfiction for a game (Not saying which game because it’s kind of embarrassing), and one of my characters is a homicide detective. How do I make him realistic?

His name I can’t spoil because I have (Not many, but some) followers, but he’s a 45-year-old man from that world’s equivalent to Southeast Asia who immigrated to that world’s equivalent of the USA. He’s divorced because he felt his wife wasn’t able to support him emotionally through one of the hardest jobs in the world, and he’s a legitimate good guy who’s very skilled at his job. He works with ghosts and also has a pet bird, Terrence, who he loves very much. I’m looking for how to write him as a man who’s tired, but genuinely dedicated to his career.

What are some examples of moves that it makes no sense for certain Pokémon not to learn?

The question came up when I remembered Krookodile, a Dark type crocodile, doesn’t learn Jaw Lock. There’s also Pinsir not learning Megahorn. But what else is there?

Salamandrime, the Coolest Heat Pokemon

Salamander + Rime
Fire/Ice

Evolves from Lamandual after leveling up with a Cool condition of 170 or higher

Biology: Salamandrime is a salamander Pokémon with a snow-white body. It has pupilless red eyes that have red lines behind them and are connected by a red line marking in the middle, resembling cool sunglasses, horizontal orange lines down each side of its body that light up during Fire moves, and a mouth that also glows with orange heat when using Fire moves. It is 10’ 2 long.

Its Shiny makes its glowing orange parts red, a reference to how Cool is represented by red.

Pokédex Entry (Love): Some say Salamandrime is objectively the coolest Pokémon in the known world. It is incredibly popular in Pokémon Contests, and its trainers have fierce rivalries with trainers of Milotic.
Pokédex Entry (Hate): If not trained correctly, Salamandrime will become arrogant and overconfident. It takes on fights it can’t win just for the thrill of knowing it tried.

Abilities: Slush Rush/Icy Heat/Solar Power

Stats
HP: 80
Atk: 60
Def: 78
SpA: 119
SpD: 68
Spe: 135
BST: 540

Signature Move: Dual-Temp Blast
50 BP 100 percent accurate Ice/Fire move, hits twice with one hit being Ice and the other being Fire.

Good Moves: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Freeze-Dry, Earth Power, Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Focus Blast, Dragon Pulse, Hyper Voice, Aurora Veil, Nasty Plot

Inspiration: Salamanders, both the real ones that freeze themselves and the mythical ones that live in fire

On the subject of a question (That DEFINITELY isn’t ToxaGateShipping related)

/uj “Elizabeth” is just Ayana telling a half-lie on an alt. She is journeying with a boy who has his first gay crush, Sinbad (u/Noz_ILLUMINEX’s character), and she does want to help him.

Since lizards often eat insects, Dragon is now Super Effective against Bug.

Everyone knows Bug is an overpowered type for the likes of U-Turn, Quiver Dance, and Sticky Web. Everyone also knows Dragon is an underpowered type, since it’s weak to Fairy, the best type in the game, Fairy is also immune to it, and it’s additionally weak to Ice, a common offensive coverage type. I believe making Dragon beat Bug will help the balance of the game in many ways. This would also bring Volcarona back down into OU, which would make me happy because it’s my second-favorite Bug.

Are there any good fics that are mostly slice-of-life fluff?

I like battles and all, but I tend to learn better from reading good writing. I’d prefer 50k words or less, but longer is fine.
