I've seen people showing sympathy to that horrid subreddit because they lack knowledge of the Manipur conflict. Be warned, the subreddit is a fascist propaganda cell pool which is engaging in an Information War.
The Indian National Congress party is definitely not the best but they're the only good, and probably the only, opposition to the extreme anti-Christian BJP party. Yes, Congress has an problems and they've allowed the Bajrang Dal for, I guess, votes but they're significantly better than the BJP which has explicit ties to Bajrang Dal, the organization that lynches and harasses Christian. I don't think any other opposition party compete to the BJP, nationally.
BJP is absolutely horrible. Christians for BJP is like Jews for Hitler. Their ideology is explicitly anti-Christian. Prominent Hindutva leaders have said that Christians cannot be Indian because our "holy sites" (whatever that means) are outside India. BJP also purposeful allows Meitei armed terrorist groups to attack Christians in Manipur. They also create anti-conversion laws that target Christians but allow Hindus to convert, sometimes even forcefully. I don't see a reason why anyone could be a Christian and support that horrid party.
Only Congress can nationally stand up to the BJP, in my opinion, and they'll probably solve the Manipur conflict, since I don't see a way they could be interested in allowing Meitei terrorists aside from Meiteis being a votebank, and cause Hindu terrorist groups like Bajrang Dal to decline.
BJP leader's excuse was the same lame excuse they've been telling us for years. "This not a religious conflict", he said.

Many Kuki-Zo people have been displaced from their homes by extremists. Drones, brought from the US, have been used to bomb them. Women and children have been raped for the "crime" of being part of a tribe.

Funny, some Roman Catholics, not all, say all these and yet ban Protestants in r/Catholicism. I remember a friend of mine who asked a "exProtestant" user a question there and he was met with insults including one comparing his church to a whore. He was later banned by the mods.
Keep in mind, many of the users active there come here and insult us for us to "come home". I suggest the mods take action against these. It's been an three months since they said they'd take action.
