What to wear to pickleball bar?

My boyfriend is taking me to a popular bar in the city that has pickle ball courts inside.
Never been to this kind of bar before and feel very confused on what to wear.
You obviously wouldn't wear a typical "going out and drinking" outfit, but somehow a sexy athleisure outfit feels too casual.
Help?

Cashier Interview for Buffalo Wild Wings?

I have an interview tomorrow at Buffalo Wild Wings for the cashier position. I'm terrible with interviews.
My last interview was with Applebee's. I panicked and took up the entire interview talking about bowling. For no good reason. Never got a call back.
The only good interview I had was when I took 5 vodka shots beforehand, but I don't want to do that this time.
What sort of questions will they ask me?

PNW in the winter?

I'm planning to surprise my partner with a trip to Oregon or Washington, preferably in the months of January or February.
I would love to stay somewhere with forest or ocean views. He loves hiking.
I have 3 questions:

  1. Any resorts or hotels that would be nice?
  2. Do you know of any "experiences" or companies that offer cool hikes or foraging

/fishing/

  1. dining experiences?
  2. Where would be a good place to have a spa retreat experience? Massages, facials, etc.
  3. Thanks in advance. We're coming up on 2 years and I really want this to be special :)

Help me understand Virginia Woolf

I recently read To the Lighthouse, and don't get it at all. I made a genuine effort to comprehend, but I couldn't tell you a single thing that happened in that book. For the first 80 pages I thought it was about an affair. I was so lost.
Mind you, I am going to be a creative writing MFA student, so books are my life and I read a lot. I love challenging prose and stream of consciousness.
A notoriously challenging book is "Ada, or Ardor" by Nabakov and it's one of my all time favorites.
I just didn't feel anything reading Woolf. But I want to like her so badly. But (and please don't attack me for this) many of her descriptions felt purple and juvenile. Not a single thing in that book inspired any feeling within me. Even in books I struggled to understand, like nightwood by djuna barnes, there are still some standout lines/descriptions that resonate.

date night-help me choose?

going out tn with my long term boyfriend. which outfit should i wear? we are bar hopping then hitting up a club. the club isn't a miami type fancy one, since we're in the midwest.
i'm heavily leaning towards the last one, but need advice!

EDIT: I went with none of these outfits! My boyfriend chose a cute hot pink top with the first shorts.

We're going to bar hop as well as hit up a club. The club is definitely not a Miami type super fancy club, because we're in the midwest.

I'm heavily leaning towards the very last outfit, but want advice!

"that" instead of "who"

for example, saying "a person that loves you" instead of "a person who loves you"
both are grammatically correct. both are acceptable. i hate that this bothers me, but it does. the second one sounds better to me and makes more sense

orange chicken and rice

Terrible at taking food photos, but love cooking and want to start sharing what I make!
This was soy sauce basmati rice with orange chicken, squid, crab, shrimp, fish cakes, and corn. The yellow sruff on top is grated egg yolk!
My partner loved it 👍🏼

EDIT: heres the recipe since ppl asked!
This actually looks really good 😭. I’d absolutely click on this recipe if I saw it on Reddit. Since you mostly eyeballed everything, I’ve converted it into measurements that should recreate the dish pretty closely while leaving room for people to adjust to taste.

One-Pot Orange Chicken Seafood Rice
Yield: 2 generous servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25–30 minutes
Ingredients
Rice
1 cup uncooked basmati rice
About 3 cups water, divided
1 serving (200 calories worth) dehydrated seafood mix (I used Ramen Bae Seafood Mix)
1 generous handful broccoli slaw
½ packet creamy chicken ramen seasoning
Soy sauce, to taste (I used a generous splash)
Chicken
1 package chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes (about 1 lb)
Salt and black pepper
6 tablespoons orange sauce
Topping
2 hard-boiled eggs
2 cooked egg yolks (one per serving), finely grated (make sure to freeze beforehand for at least an hour!)

Instructions
Place the basmati rice in a large skillet or sauté pan with about 2 cups of water over medium-high heat. I cooked mine uncovered the entire time.
As the water absorbs, add another 1 cup of water. Stir occasionally to keep the rice from sticking.
Once the rice is mostly cooked, stir in the dehydrated seafood mix. Continue cooking until it rehydrates.
Add the broccoli slaw, then season the rice with ½ packet of creamy chicken ramen seasoning and a generous amount of soy sauce. Let everything cook together until the vegetables soften and the rice is tender. Add a splash more water if needed.
Meanwhile, season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a separate skillet over medium-high heat without oil or butter, stirring occasionally until cooked through.
Add the orange sauce to the cooked chicken and stir until every piece is coated.
Fold the orange chicken into the rice mixture and mix until evenly combined.
Divide into two bowls. Finely grate one hard-boiled egg yolk over each serving like Parmesan.
Serve immediately.

Notes
The grated egg yolk melts into the hot rice and makes the whole dish richer and creamier without needing butter or cream.
Adjust the soy sauce depending on how salty your orange sauce is.
If the rice begins drying out while cooking, just add another splash of water.
Approximate nutrition: 2 servings • ~779 calories per serving

how did you get over your fear? 24f

ive been trying to wear contacts for 12 years now. its gotten to the point where they tell me i have to leave as it takes over an hour of trying, and i still cant get them in. they never let me take the contacts home. i cant get them in at all due to my crippling fear. what if i go blind and then all i see is blackness and im alone with my thoughts forever? what if the contacts cause me to get trapped inside my head? what if it causes a seizure or sudden heart attack or brain aneurysm?
i hate wearing glasses. it covers my face and hides my beauty.
but again, i've been trying and failing to get contacts in for 12 years now. i dont know what to do.

How to get him to love me?

I have an almost 5 month old male weimaraner puppy. He was a gift from my partner because a few years back, my soul dog Ares passed, and I really missed having a dog.
Ares (a drahthaar) followed me everywhere. He always wanted to be snuggling or laying on me. He cried when I left and waited for me to return. We were attached at the hip, deeply in love with each other. I was 11 when I got him and 22 when he passed.
For the first 2 or so weeks of having Reicker, he would act like that. But now he doesn't. He's aloof to me, never looks in my eyes or follows me, never snuggles, seems disinterested. He always wants to bite or hump me or wrestle with me, and isn't like that as much with my partner.
With my partner, he's OBSESSED. Cries when he leaves. Always wants to be near him. Looks deeply into his eyes. Always trying to snuggle. Follows him. He acts how Ares acted with me.
Our plan was for Reicker to be primarily my dog, and later we'd get my partner his dog.
I love Reicker very much. It's a selfless sort of love, one in which I can be happy even if he doesn't love me back. But the thing is, I DO want him to love me back. I am his primary caretaker because I stay at home and my partner works, so I don't understand why he doesn't seem interested in me at all.
Any advice? Please?

edit: side question does anyone know why he might always try to hump me but never my partner?
