If you have thalassophobia, this sub is probably the worst place to be on Reddit, for obvious reasons. Why did you join it? Is it a form of exposure therapy for you? A way of taming your fears through microdosing? Or maybe something else?

Please note: I'm not saying you shouldn't be here, nor that your phobia is "wrong" in some shape or form. We all have phobias, and they should be respected. I'm asking because I'm genuinely interested in your feelings.

I'd like to run a sandbox campaign set in a huge hive city, in which player characters would play as low lifes trying to survive there, and eventually rise on the social ladder of the city.

The tone of the game will be generally quite shallow and adventure focused. I'm planning it for our typical game nights, we don't want to explore the big questions about life, nature of a man, etc.

I think the best way to describe it would be "GTA V in 40k hive city".

Recently I stumbled upon a Cursed Scroll 6 for Shadowdark RPG, and this supplement is a perfect city sandbox in my opinion. It's got everything - districts with POI in them, whole calendar of annual city events, factions, lots of random tables, NPC's, etc.

I'm wondering: have you ever seen something like this for some kind of hive city in 40k?

I'm thinking anything on the spectrum from "descriptions of districts and their Points of Interest", through "d100 NPCs", "d20 factions", all the way up to random tables for hive city street food.

No reason for this request be connected to any 40kRPG. It can be system agnostic.

I'd like to run a sandbox campaign set in a huge Skaven undercity, in which player characters would play as slaves trying to survive there, and eventually escape.

The tone of the game will be a typical Skaven mixture of fun and horror, but generally quite shallow and adventure focused. I'm planning it for our typical game nights, we don't want to explore the big questions about slavery, nature of a man, etc.

I think the best way to describe it would be "GTA V in Skavenblight". The Skaven would be evil to the bone as always, but they'll have solid reasons not to kill nor maim PC's. Interactions with skaven NPC's will be possible and frequent, with NPCs often mixing roles of comic relief, antagonist, "enemy of my enemy", etc.

- niebiałą i niecis obsadę

- reinterpretacje mitu

- antywojenne przesłanie

- trailer, ktory nie zapowiadał sukcesu

- kawał wybitnego filmu

I na samym koncu, wisienkę na torcie, chefs kiss:

- sukces kasowy.

Nolan otrzymał czysty bóldupian konserwu, po czym zaaplikował go na świeżą ranę bez znieczulenia. Spodobało mi sie to niemal tak bardzo jak sam film i mam nadzieję że wycie jeszcze trochę potrwa, na co sie zapowiada.

Ale chyba najciekawszym ciosem jaki zadał konserwatystom Nolan, jest nazwanie ich cnoty grzechem. Nazwanie po imieniu czym jest łamanie zasad w imię zwycięstwa- barbarzynstwem i bandyterką, a nie "politycznym gambitem", czy "inteligentnym zagraniem".

Konserwy od lat klaskały brawo za każdym razem jak ich polityk łamał zasady, wychwalali go jaki to sprytny manewr zrobił i jak wszystkich ograł. Nolan mówi wprost, dobitnie: to nie spryt. To gotowość na podważenia fundamentów porządku na którym wszyscy stoimy.

Polecam Odyseje

Ja mam mieszane uczucia. Zgadzam sie z nim w 99%, ale raz jak zgodzilem sie w 50%, to wyzywał mnie od debili w komentarzach pod swoim filmem... Chyba ze ktoś mu sie włamał na konto, ale wątpię. Mieliscie kiedys podobnie?

Wydaje mi sie to mało pasujące do niego, bo swoje opinie w filmach ma dość wyważone. Moje ego to przetrwa, wiec nie mam z tym problemu, ale zastanawiam sie czy tylko ja miałem takie doświadczenia. Mam nadzieję, bo wtedy moge to uznać za zły dzień Ralindela i meltdown zmęczonego człowieka.

Czy spotkał się już ktoś z wytłumaczeniem prawicy dlaczego napad z nożem w ręku uzasadnia podpalenia domów i samochodów mieszkańców Belfastu? I dlaczego te podpalenia sa inne, zupełnie inne, niż te podczas protestów BLM?

Znalazłem se lepszą pracę, schudłem, przypakowałem, i się zaczęło. Jakoś dziwnie się tak złożyło, że podejrzenia o zdradę zaczęły się w tym samym czasie jak zacząłem w miarę ogarniać życie. Zjebane to jest kiedy druga połówka uznaje, że jedyną rzeczą jaka cie powstrzymuje przed zdradą jest twój bebzol i złe nawyki.

Co gorsza, jak teraz rozmawiam z ludźmi, to często słyszę podobne historie i opinie. A jak to jest z wami? Czy dla was nagłe ogarnianie życia u partnera jest problematyczne? Może byliście tym ogarniaczem?
