help me find a vocaloid song? :/

there was this lovely English original vocaloid song with Hatsune Miku, it was criminally underrated, and had a whole animated music video too. I remember bits and pieces but i don't remember the song title.

What I do know is

  1. the song lyrics for the chorus was a japanese word "Onegai (please)" followed by emotional english lyrics

  2. the author of the song is strictly, and openly anti-ai

  3. it had this bluish background and miku had black hair (i think)

  4. It has a key change near the end :D

  5. The main genre is Rock

try to guess my favorite producer based off this instrumental

you can't lolol

i'm finally able to make beats in the style of my favorite vocaloid producer and i'm really proud of it

Adachi Rei V6 sounds good with a vocoder! :D

she's very compatible with these retro vocal effects. It really enhances the robot vibe!

sometimes life feels like this

maybe i'm just wired different. i've played 5 seperate songs (Edit: I've listened to the entire U and Fishmonger Albums at this point. My perspective has changed, but my opinion has not). I can see why people like it, but it's just not who I am. i feel the same way about pasta, fish and tamales. You understand what i'm saying?'

One thing I will say is that I can appreciate the skill and effort it takes to produce at such a level.

NORMAL / Ka'ai Yuki

my personal anthem as an autistic person. i sometimes find myself wishing to be normal for one day, and then the next day i go back to being okay with myself.

it would be nice if an adult swim cartoon picked this up and made it an outro

I think about this comment a lot.

I was talking about tuning earlier on this sub, and I feel like while the way a Vocaloid sounds when a producer uses them, or tweaks their parameters could be referred to as "tuning", that is bit of an oversimplification to me. But it seems someone in Japan found the words for me.

Because even though it's obviously not the voice of the producer themselves, it's unique and specific to their style or genre, just like all singing voices are. Compare rap, metal, and pop, and you will find some distinct voices, even within the genres themselves. I've come to the conclusion that the way a Vocaloid sounds is a "(Vocaloid) Voice". I am using this to refer to the specific way a Vocaloid sounds when a producer makes a song with them. You may use it as well.

So far my favorite voices are

Guchiry's Kagamine Rin voice,

Shimon's Ka'ai Yuki voice,

Sasakure's CULT-P's (and of course, Otoe's) Miku voice,

Sasakure's Megurine Luka voice,

and finally, my own V6 Nurse Robot Type T voice.
