Now I want an ability to cancel Mercy Rez. It is a meme at this point. Getting rezzed into 1v5 and getting staggered.

I am sorta new player.

In 2023 I tried Apex for first time and sank like 30ish hours into it. Mostly played Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline. DIDNT enjoy the game back then and dropped it.

A week ago I downloaded Apex again. And for some reason I had a Revenant skin. I unlocked him. Tried playing him for a while. I actually LOVE this game now. Its friggin awesome.

I can jump to ambush, Jump to run away, jump for faster rotations, jump to flank, jump to do basically everything I wanna do. And it feels like im being restricted only by my own imagination.

The purple Lady also looks super fun. Might unlock her soon.

Its incredible how much my enjoyment of the game changed when I started playing with Mobility legends, instead of trying to support randoms. Im winning more duels, less overanalyzing, less getting caught. Im just having fun

If so, how they didnt think about Rein and Ram comps, that easily can ignore Domina? Or even Mauga Vendetta comps, that can run Domina down?

Or do you think it was something else? Specifically designed to be played against Twisted Minds or Geekay sym comps?

1. As a new player should I drop into safe POIs, far from other teams. or should I drop immediately into places with many players so that I fight more?

2. Do roles have hidden passives? Or is it only character specific passives? There is a Radar looking thing with which I cant interact with, but others can

3. How do I pick attachments? Do I keep upgrding into higher tier everytime I see one? Or do specific tiers have downsides to them?

4. How do I get weapons like Scout G7 and Kraber? I saw them a lot in EWC matches, but cant find them in game.

Like I didnt even mind TM not winning grand finals, as Im happy to see Zeta Division and specifically Bernar and Violet win it all(and CR found dead in top 8).

Great tournament. Great performance from all teams(except Lazy Racoons and Virtus Pro).

LLM models like Gemini, ChatGPT and etc, tend to give wrong answers or even completely hallucinate answers.

Dont be like Chorong and trust answers LLMs give you. Especially for High level Overwatch strats.

We know Mihawk is the worlds strongest swordsman, so Kaido holding a sword is a buff to him

So I main Tracer and wanna get better at her. I started watching Sugarfree, Proper and etc POVs uploaded to youtube.

I started noticing a lot of things that just dont happen in my games.

Proper literally just sat on angle for a 15-20 seconds doing nothing, poking as Tracer. His team didnt get rolled during that time. Im 100% that if it was my rank, my Tank would int 1v5 and die, my hitscan would get aim gapped, and my support would autopilot into open and die.

His Tank would contest the objective and not leave it all for Tracer. Use cover, try to stay alive. His supports will care for him, helping him win duels.

I know there is a reason Im in the ranks I currently belong to. Its 100% a skill issue on my part, especially on Tracer. I just think sometimes watching these High level POVs will hurt your performance, because those games are completely different than my games.

And I honestly feel like you should play like U2GM Tracer player to get out of shitter ranks. Kill 2-3 every fight and out mechanic everyone, till you reach ranks where mind games matter.

I know reactive tracking is a MUST in Overwatch, But Im feeling like there are few reasons why learning this in Kovaaks is just useless.

IMO reactive tracking is something that requires a ton of context. Or at the very least I personally find it much easier to do in game than in aim trainer. Mostly because in game you see direction change animations and react to that accordingly. While in Kovaaks its just a pill, that only moves left and right very randomly.

Also there are very common patterns players use to strafe and dodge, which can become very easy to predict.

And finally, I always found strafing is a MUST when reactive tracking in game. At least it makes your job much much easier. And not all scenrios have matching speed with target and your movement. Its still mostly mouse aiming.

I recently picked up Cat, and his driver playstyle is by far his most boring one. And I feel like Cat is being held back by it.

His kit allows for far more skill expression than currently being used for. You can do a lot of things with his mobility and damage potential. Almost like air Lucio, but can actually pocket tanks.

IMO Infinite grapple needs to be nerfed, so that other parts of his kit will shine.

Doom DID get weaker, as the last buff he got was in November 12 2024.

But right now he feels particularly ass to play because the Meta heroes right now all counter Doom.

Tank:

- Sigma, Mauga, Dva - not bad, but not exactly favourable match up

DPS:

- Shion - skill matchup

- Cassidy - counter to doom. Silver bullet pokes doom out easily, Double Flashbang makes easier to hinder Doom

- Tracer - unfavorable matchup

- Mei - unfavorable matchup

- Flying Bastion - cant do shit when he is on sky 24/7

Support:

- Mizuki - chain lol

- Cat - infinite flight lol

- Kiriko - Suzu and tp lol

Doom is weak on its own, but playing against these characters makes him even harder, ass to play and unenjoyable
