Digiorno frozen 3 meat pizza with extra pepperoni, onions and peppers. Plus some jalapeños. Always hits.

Woke up hungry today.

Sadly, the big smasher is now $12.99. The nearest one is a 30 minute drive and there are a lot of other options at that price closer to home. I'll still go if I'm in the neighborhood, but I no longer feel like I'm getting a deal.

I had read here that the big smasher was no longer on the $10.99 menu. It's $12.99 now and while it's still a great burger, it's now at a price point where I will be considering other options. I have to drive about 30 minutes to get to a Chili's and there are a lot of choices for burgers on the way. I'm not saying I'm done with Chili's, but I'll likely have to be in the area to consider it. My wife just laughed at a $10.99 chicken sandwich. Hell, you can get a whole fried chicken for that! Her words.

Went to Chili's today, first time in a while. 3 for me now charges $12.99 for the big smasher. Still a great burger, but I'm not happy about the change.

Air-fried Hofmann's German frank on Silver Floss sauerkraut with a squirt of spicy brown mustard. Sometimes I want more kraut than will fit on a bun.

I assume it's quartz.

Oven bacon and sausage, over easy eggs and wheat toast

Scrambled eggs, breakfast links and smashed tots.

Hofmann's German franks are made of pork, beef and veal, hence the lighter color. The flavor is mild, they have great snap and are my favorite brand. I highly recommend. The sauerkraut is Silver Floss, also quite good. The chips are Utz ridges.

This $1.50 takes some of the sting out of spending $250. In the store. Bonus, they had onions!
