I got my first ever real Conquest victory!
it wasn't the best and it was on chieftain, but I'm still proud of it
what I mean by "real": I technically got 2 other conquest victories before, but
-the first was on Civ6, but I did it on duel, set the enemy to Gandhi, and changed a few settings just to get the trophy
-the second was on Civ1, but it was more a speedrun
What was a game series that just kept getting worse after the first game?
the first game was either good or bad, but the series just kept going downhill after
has to be nothing but shit after the first game, so series that had a few good ones before the downfall and series where it had one good game sprinkled in between don't count here
edit: if you're going to say Call of Duty, it better be said with a good reason why you think the original Modern Warfare trilogy was worse than Call of Duty 1
also, no technicalities, so comments that go "oh, well if you ignore x" or "well, if we start with y" don't belong here. It must start with the first game and get progressively worse over time.
I want to start my first ever Westmarch. What should I know beforehand?
So, I've never tried to run a Westmarch before, and I've been kinda interested in doing so lately. I have my own homebrew setting with some lore (22 pages), so I at least have a world for the players to play in.
I'll be running the server using D&D 3.5e, mainly because I want to get better at running the system, and I'm currently going down the list of books and thinking of ones to ban for character creation.
Death came into the metal scene back in 1983, with their first studio album, Scream Bloody Gore, releasing in 1987, which is widely regarded to be the first true death metal record.
They would go on to release 6 more albums- Leprosy, Spiritual Healing, Human, Individual Thought Patterns, Symbolic, and The Sound of Perseverance- before Chuck Schuldiner, the frontman of Death, would pass away in 2001 due to a brain tumor. (R.I.P.)
Each of these albums are fucking amazing, with Symbolic being considered one of the greatest metal albums of all time. Side note: I highly recommend their cover of Painkiller - Judas Priest.
So tell me why, after everything Death has done for metal, I go to YouTube and their page looks like this? AI generated profile picture, only 2 albums listed in their playlists, and a single AI generated video. What in the everloving fuck, YouTube? Death has been broken up since 2001, so I know for a fact they're not doing anything to the channel.
It's not *the* best, but it is *my* best, and I'm proud of how it turned out
