Any book recs for detailed, traditional Celtic or Norse mythology tales? Preferably with no weird s3x stuff.

By "weird s3x stuff" I understand that with mythology comes stories of r@pe and inc3st and guys falling in love with nude women in the forest, but like...nothing super graphic yk

Looking for something well-written and visually evocative!

Has anyone here made rainbow scratch paper before? I tried to but the black paint smudged and it looks muddy and ugly underneath...

My process: I colored in a paper with oil pastels and then mixed some cheap (and old) black acrylic paint with dish soap and painted a few layers on top, using a sponge brush. When it was dry I scratched away the paint but there were black smudges and streaks in the oil pastel layer. Would that happen if I had used crayons? Did I maybe add too many paint layers? I added like 5 because I didn't know what I was doing 🥲

Haploid and Diploid 2:15

Who is homologous? The blue guy and the other blue guy, or the blue guys and the orange guys? Does that mean they both contain the same gene sequence?

Why does it show two blue guys and two orange guys when you don't have that in your cells? The background doesn't show that at all.

Also, is it implied that the chromosome pairs in the background have centromeres? Like, is each chromosome from your mom bound to its respective chromosome from your dad?

Please help me! This has always confused me

Sentence: She had been getting ready for her great journey to the horizons in search of people; it was important to all the world that she should find them and they find her. (from Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston)
