If setting is fantasy (have human ,elf, regular fantasy race etc.), but I want faction full of dinosaur

What kind of design should these have? Should they lean fully into a fantasy style, like something out of Monster Hunter, or be armed dinosaurs like dinasaur carry magic cannon ? , and dinosaur is not humanoid and they can talk can use human language
