Why on earth do you think I, a 37 year old would be interested in content that romanticizes guys hitting 22 year olds, and encouraging other guys to do the same? I think meta has like a trillion dollars facing it in lawsuits right? Mosseri of Instagram recently said he didn’t want this, but I don’t see a change on FB. Do they want to go bankrupt from lawsuits? What are they doing?

I think the older episodes are a great reminder of how much influence Russia had over our elections. But aside from that,

- Alex Jones does a little G god rant.
- Dan has a slightly different take on religion than in current episodes though they’re both critical of Christianity.
- Alex Jones goes on a rant about quantum physics, and something to do with geometry.
- He takes something that China is doing and tries to say it’s everywhere.
- Dan says Alex is starting to frame the religious argument to be pro Trump here.

Overall, it’s a great listen and if you’re in a bit of a lull and need a reason to get back to KF this is a good one!

I have the setting turned off under battery>charging and it still gave me the optimized charging notification. I clicked charge now, and it’s minor since my phone is definitely able to charge past 80%, this is still an inconvenience that Apple should not force on its users. Do a trickle charge if you need to don’t wait 3 hours to charge the device.

I have the 16 pro. Update two: clicking charge now when you see it speeds up the charging process.

NBA fans are for the most part weirdly extremely liberal so when discussing Enes Freedom’s trolling of pretending he’s a trans person, most people are mocking it but the Trumpers are being the most outspoken getting modded a lot in the topic. One got suspended. At least there’s content moderation somewhere.

With everyone doing one hack over the other, it’s a shock and awe campaign to try to do something criminal and get away with it marketing it as an incredible feat. For all we should be assuming, it was a rogue employee using the AI for evil. We just have them at their word, and they’re not letting us look. They want nobody else to do the same and expect us to believe it’s exactly what happened.

I’m seeing the political discourse on all sides get worse, we need more podcasts teaching people the basics since apparently not everyone cares about them. I would say the first one is more important than the later. I think a lot of people are paying attention to politics and people are getting smarter not there’s too many bad actors or people taking advantage of people based on vibes.

The dude is trying hard to become controversial or edgy since social media likes that. I am actively hating him more and more and right now I like him less than some very unpopular people. He’s leading the masses into bad opinions on vaccines and trans people.

I highly recommend also reading the most recent Vader series, it should give you some context of why Vader thinks the way that he does at this point in time. But, that point of view aside, it’s excellent. I like Sabine as a character a lot and Ezra and Kanan are great too, so is Zeb (can’t forget Hera and Chop, or Hondo). Obvs S3 is very sad. I wish that we had more Ahsoka, but that’ll come in S5 and S6 in the live action version (half kidding). I also wish we had more Rex and Saw Gerrera.

With the advent of AI and drones, a lot of the jokes land differently now. It’s worth a rewatch for that alone.

If you look at numerous power rankings they seem to have us at 10 or 11. Unless something changes I still think we’re 16-20, and I hope we do better against the Braves. In key series we seem to struggle sometimes but other times we over perform, so let’s hope the analysts are right for one.

While our expectations are zero, a lot of other people are overrating us now.

I don’t think I’ve ever posted pro MAGA content ever. I’m rarely shown the hill even though I dislike some of their stuff I like some of the coverage. Meta desperately trying to keep Republicans in power in November. Like can’t you show me non MAGA content? Their shares deserve some correction, I think until they change behavior.

This might be the first time I’ve seen it acknowledged by a pollster in this way. They are pretty good the last four cycles at figuring out elections, and getting the winner right. They were surprised by how many Republicans are abandoning free market principles, they said about the same number of Republicans as Democrats agree that the Government should control key sections of the economy (which of course they view as socialism). I think it’s notable that Dan Friesan, will be proven right in the long haul to anyone who doubted him or thought he was just mocking Alex.

I’m getting into my DS copy a bit. I think it holds very well over time. I can see the Toriyama influence.
