How do I listen to Metal music?

Recently I've been trying to expand my taste. Let's take Slipknot for example. It's just so loud and busy and angry it just... I don't understand how to listen to it as dumb as this sounds. It sort of just feels like an assault on my ears and mind there's like 50 bass notes per beat sometimes while some guy screams in my face LMAO.

Seriously how do you get into this I'd genuinely like to know.

I can't believe it but I'm pretty sure it's back.

My GI has been shaky the last few weeks... then I had my 40th birthday on Saturday and had more beer than usual, even though it was spread out over the course of the day. 48 hours later on Tuesday symptoms returned and they haven't let up. I did a test on Wednesday and am waiting to hear results.

This is the 4th recurrence for me and last time was in the summer, and I was sure Dificid fixed me... but here we are.

I honestly don't know what to do at this point...

It's been quite a few years since I launched a kick of a campaign. I just launched a new one for my album project, it's a music thing. Anyway, I was surprised that in the first 10 minutes I have small contributions of what seem to be bought accounts asking me for information. What strange these are actual pledges, not just messages. They seem to make a small ledge and then message me afterwards with the request to contact them via Gmail. I'm obviously not going to do this, but I'm wondering it's just going to sabotage my campaign? If there's a lot of these are they going to all bounce at the end? I don't remember this happened even once last time, this must be new.

TL;DR: I'm getting bought pledges. What does this mean and what do I do?

Do you make friends and family wait for your music to officially come out, or do you send them preview links? I ask because I just got the masters for my album, but between art and the waterfall release it's probably not going to be fully out until fall... yet people are asking to hear!

... which is the age that Winston is in the book. It was the first time I watched the film in close to 20 years and it sure has aged. I was surprised to notice that Winston's tooth comes back after the torture when he reaches Room 101. It made me wonder, was this just a simple (albeit glaring) continuity error or meant to show that the room was somehow imagined?
