As you all know the Republic of Venezuela, under Acting President Delcy Rodriguez, who is already reversing 26 years of the country's far-leftist direction under the era of the Boliviarian Revolution and the 5th Republic under Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro, and putting the nation back on the path of reconcilation with the Western World wherein it has been a friend and ally for many years, faced the greatest crisis in the 215 years since its independence exactly on this day in 1811: two major earthquakes last month that damaged the state of La Guaira and much of the Atlantic coast, as well as the Capital District of Caracas, which has resulted in a massive loss of lives.

While we continue to mourn in solidarity with them, we also are thankful for the countless efforts both by Western armed forces and emergency organizations whose efforts, in cooperation together with the National Armed Forces, the National Police, and the National Directorate for Civil Protection and Firefighting, have also saved lives.

It is a long road ahead for national reconstruction, and we all know that the upcoming presidential elections may be delayed for even longer to allow for the recovery and rebuilding process to begin, all while the nation slowly returns back to the path of being a nation that is once more a loyal part of the Western World, democratic, sovereign, independent and free.

It is imperative now that in the midst of the damage of these twin tremors, we assist Venezuela in its road to national reconstruction, while also removing the far-leftist influences and legacies of the past 26 years, and also preventing a far-rightist surge in that nation as well, so that, fully restored as a liberal democratic republic and as a capitalist powerhouse in South America, it will be rising again literally and figuratively from the ashes thanks to all our support.

So, as we celebrate today Venezuelan Independence Day let our prayers be not just for the comforting families of both the survivors and those who have died, but for the reconstrution of Venezuela as it continues to march on once again on the path back to true democracy and freedom as once more a loyal member of the Free Western World.

Today, the 4th of July, is exactly 250 years since the promulgation and presentation before the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia of the Declaration of Independence, following days of voting that set the definite path for the rebel colonial governments of British North America for independence from the United Kingdom of Great Britain, after more than a year of warfare that began in April 1775 in Massachusetts in the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which offically, thru the then ongoing American Revolutionary War, led to the formal birth of the first of the modern republics of the Americas and the world, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

While we today are full of gratitude and appreciation of the role played by the American people and nation in formulating the ideals, values and principles of international Captalism and Liberal Democracy all over the world all over these 250 years, as well as to the role played by the Armed Forces of the United States of America in the formulation and formation of the modern day Western World, its proud service record, and its service in various conflicts all through its history, especially in both World Wars, and in its part in the formation and formulation of our globalized society, and its role in bringing us the best examples of Western culture and the fruits of capitalism, a united and diverse human society, and the duty to protect even our beloved planet and our natural enviroments and biodiversity, lest we not forget that despite its role for the betterment of human society in general and towards a sustainable future, and the long struggle for gender and racial equality and harmony for all the peoples not only of the United States of America, but also of the whole world, we must remember the principal role it played in the more than a century of struggle against Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism across the wider world beginning in the 19th century, especially after the Haymarket Massacre of 1886.

We here and in all our partner and sister subs are full of gratitude to the men and women of the armed forces of the United States of America and the men and women of all federal and local level law enforcement organizations and all governmental, public and private organizations for the sacrifices made over the decades to defend us all from the dangerous, evil and illegal ideologies of Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism, not only in the Americas, but all over the world, beginning with the American participation in the Russian Civil War of 1918 especially in Siberia, both World Wars, in Korea, Guatemala, Vietnam, Grenada, Lebanon and Panama during the Cold War, in both Gulf Wars, Afghanistan, Somalia, Venezuela and many other theaters, especially in the Middle East due to the recent war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, in disaster relief all over the world, in training and capacitation with our allied armed forces, and our support to our faithful and loyal allies across the world, most especially in the Republic of China (Taiwan), Republic of Korea and Israel, as well as in training and helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its ongoing war against Russia- all these current work all to counter the rising anti-Western coalition of nations led by Russia, Communist China, North Korea and Islamist Iran and their allies and supporters across the world, in particular all Socialist and Communist parties and organizations across the world, and the illegal and illegitimate Palestinian national movement for independence, all united in hatred for the American people and nation and the wider Western world, and in dreaming for its defeat and destruction so that their ideologies must triumph.

Let us never forget, most especially, the memory of the Americans especially of the armed forces who died fighting against Socialism and Communism across the world, especially in Korea and Vietnam and more especially those of the armed forces who fought there, and even against Saddamist Iraq, and whose sacrifices are remembered every day across this vast nation, and may their sacrifices never be in vain as we fight against this ideology and all who support it not just in the USA but across the world, as we continue as well the struggle against international fascism as well in all its forms, and the connection of all these ideologies to the main enemy of the American people and all of the peoples of the free world: the Russian Federation, the ultimate source, fountain, and culprit of all the evil and dangerous ideologies that threaten the future of the peoples of the free Western World and our common prosperity and sustainablity.

Never shall they nor the far-rightists and any and all supporters of dictatorships, and of all forms of totalianism, even inclusive of military regimes, must win not just in the United States of America, but also all across the world, especially those individuals, politicial parties and organizations who do promote them in the United States of America itself! Despite the recent victory of Keiko Fujimori in Peru, and her decision to revive all relations with Israel and reverse that country's stances towards Palestine, we are clear that we will not even allow glorification of her father Alberto's dictatorial regime of the 1990s as well. For as the United States and her armed forces fought against all these ideologies at home and abroad, especially all those allied with her enemies, lest we not forget the role it played in the anti-communist struggle in Latin America for much of the Cold War, even if it meant helping tyrannical military dictatorships in Chile, Brazil, Paraguay and Ecuador and even Venezuela, only for them to become democratic nations fully allied and loyal to the West to this very day - despite Brazil having been a founding member of BRICS since its formation and Venezuela's long 25 year far-left Boliviarian Revolution now slowly reversed thanks to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. We must be forever vigilant and resolute to fight against them all, at home or abroad, so that the peoples of the world will be aware that we have a struggle to finish until all these ideologies have been defeated, especially in the battlefield.

Let us be clear that the example of the great American people in their struggle against International Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism all over the world must be followed, as well as of their allies and faithful friends across the world, for as we must be more than ever before determined to stop the futher radicalization and politicial divisions of our society, and be united more than ever before to defeat all of these ideologies and be the force for the ultimate and final definite destruction, even at the cost of all our lives, inspired by the sacrifices of the American volunteers who died fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Ukrainian people in its ongoing war against Russia and its allies. Let the example of the many military, law enforcment, emergency and civil heroes of these United States, and the many great individuals in various other fields of endeavour, especially in education, religion, culture and sports, be our lodestar and inspiration for the struggles of today and the future for a better world and the victory of international Capitalism and Liberal Democracy all over the world against all its enemies especially against those promoting these ideologies in the United States itself.

As I have said numerous times, let us, the united and determined millions of people of the Western World, as one people, fight more fiercely and courageously against these ideologies, whether they are far-leftist or far-rightist alike, motivated by the ongoing struggles of South Korea, Republic of China in Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel, and the fighting peoples of Georgia and Iran, to continue the good fight to defend the Western World's values, principles, and ideologies, as well as its economic system, our way of life, arts and culture, the environment, sports, and most importantly, our future, against all of its enemies, both domestic and foreign, especially at the cost of losing our lives.

As we today celebrate with great joy the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America, let us, together with the millions of Americans everywhere most especially in their home country, be united, more than ever before, regardless of race, gender, language, religion, ethnicity and nationality, together with all of us, the millions of people of the free Western World, in our march towards a prosperous, progressive and sustainable human society and a brighter future for us all, and most especially, in our ongoing struggle to combat Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism across the wider world until their final defeat and destruction!

Once more, let us therefore, today, everyday and always, continue to struggle with all our best to combat Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism across the wider world and thus carry on the spirit of the countless millions of martyrs that have had fallen in the struggle against these ideologies for over a century and have died as victims of these ideologies. Let us never give up this long standing struggle until all of these ideologies, illegal and murderous, have all been destroyed and eliminated altogether, especially in the field of battle, as we all as one people await for that very day that the ideologies, values, principles and ideals of the Western World will finally triumph against its enemies.

To all of you our fans and supporters!

Today marks formally the 167th year since the first ever collegiate game ever between Williams and Amherst Colleges - today D3 colleges - exactly on this day in 1859, 13 years after the first official baseball game played in the USA in Hoboken, New Jersey, exactly 180 years ago. From that very first game, we've come a long way since then.

Our sport has evolved with the times, having produced many of the sport's best both past and present, and enjoyed being a part of the careers of many Olympians, World Baseball Classic and Premier12 athletes, major and minor leaguers, and international league stars over the decades. This past season was indeed proof of how far we've come since that first every game in Pittsfield, how far we've evolved to what it is today.

Come this month its role in providing the sport with top quality talent will be in full display again in the forthcoming MLB Draft, a role that despite talks for a brand new CBA, must continue on in the years and decades to come.

Today thus is the formal celebration of our official birthday, the formal close of the current collegiate year and the beginning anew as we prepare for the 168th year in 2027. As we once more bid farewell to the grads and potential MLB Draftees from the collegiate ranks, we welcome all those who are preparing for fall ball and their first full spring seasons come next year.

Thru all these years, through many of the names and the great colleges and universities of all leagues and conferences have come and gone, as well as the stadiums these teams played and created many of their great moments, our sport has trod the paths of sporting history with determination and resolve, and we can proudly say that many of us and those who came before us enjoyed many of the great moments made by these college ballplayers over the years in college ballparks across North America as well as in Japan, the Philippines and the UK and even in Australia, including this year's playoff and championship events for all the leagues of North America that we all enjoyed. For all these successes, and the many moments we cherished together throughout these past 6 months, fans, thanks to all of you.

For over 167 years, collegiate baseball has become part of the overall college sports experience in the USA and Canada, and has endured the changing sands of time and the various crisis that faced our sport and its leagues over the years, as well as the various changes and challenges in collegiate sports as a whole.

As we look back on what has been one memorable season in the collegiate ballparks of the world, as we gear up for the first ever WBSC Collegiate championships and see the results of the South Korean, Eastern Canadian fall and Mexican club seasons from this calendar year, while recallling the many great moments that are now a part of history, we begin to look forward as one to yet another historic season to come.

Today, the 1st of July, Canada Day, Indonesian National Police Day and the Day of the Armed Forces of Singapore, once more, we, the thousands of us here and in all the allied, sister and partner subs here in Reddit and all over social media, officially, once more, condemn and denounce the existence, work, struggle and ideologies of the illegal, illegitimate and evil Communist Party of China, its work and activities in the Western World, and its determination and resolute, together with all its fellow allied and supportive politicial parties and organization, and the government, people, armed forces and law enforcement of the illegal and illegitimate People's Republic of China, regardless of the role in the AI revolution and in the fight to reverse the effects of climate change, to effectively destroy the Western World, the capitalist society and way of life, and the ideologies, ideals, princples and values of the Western World.

Today, in light of the more than 105 years of its existence, knowing that the Soviet Union and the then All-Union Communist Party was partly responsible for its foundation, in the aftermath of the May 4th Movement of 1919, as we therefore once more recall and condemn the various criminal actions it commited all over the the years of its existence, we once more, denounce the Communist People's Republic of China, created in 1949 with the assistance of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and the CPC, its official state politicial party, as Evil, Illegal, Illegitimate and a Grave Danger to the Prosperity, Progress and Unity of the Millions of Peoples of the Western World.

For more than a century the CPC, thru its actions, has committed all its efforts for the spread, propagation and ideological construction of Communism not only across the Chinese nation but also across the world, and the propagation of the policies and ideologies not only of itself but also of the Central People's Government of the PRC, both in domestic and foreign policies alike, as well as the policies and ideals of the wider international Socialist and Communist movement as a whole, especially against the capitalist Western World, and in particular the United States and Israel.

On the context of this infamous day in our history, it is therefore essential that, once again, we here and in all our allied and sister subs, renew our undoubted support to the Republic of China in Taiwan as the True and Legitimate Chinese Nation, the unquestionable successor of the empires and kingdoms of China through history, and the guardian of its history, customs, and culture; recognize the part played by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and its predecessors in the formation of both the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China, as well as in its ideological well-being and policy; and acknowledge the numerous crimes carried out in the name of Socialism and Communism in both the Chinese mainland and throughout the world, specifically the individuals who lost their lives during the Anti-Rightist Movement of the late 1950s, the Great Leap Forward, the Great Cultural Revolution, and the aformentioned 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, as well as the repression and persecution of religious groups and the pro-democracy movement on the mainland, particularly in Tibet, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong, its unlawful actions in maritime Southeast Asia while pursuing its unjust maritime territorial claims, and its engagement with various nations through the Belt and Road Initiative, its backing of the broader international communist agenda, the larger anti-Western campaign, and its long involvement in the unlawful Palestinian national independence movement, and most of all, its vital role as a charter member of BRICS since its inception two decades ago which has contributed to the formation of a rising anti-Western coalition of nations led by Russia, Communist China, North Korea and Islamist Iran. Given the current violent war in Ukraine led by Russia and its allies, and Islamic Iran's current war against the Western World especially the United States and Israel, this coalition—which includes political parties, organizations, and individuals—is poised to wait for Moscow and Tehran's signal to initiate conflict against the Western Powers, which is particularly evident through Beijing's indirect backing of these conflicts, even though it has not provided Moscow with significant heavy weaponry, aircraft, or substantial financial aid while it has done similar actions to the Islamists in power in Tehran, along with its ongoing actions affecting Overseas Chinese communities and organizations.

Rather than we today celebrating the CPC and the illegal People's Republic of China, as well as the 29th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to the Communists, we must, in the imitation of the Canadian participants of the Korean War who fought shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of the West against the PLA, the People's Volunteer Army and the Korean People's Army, the constables, Mobile Brigade Corps Rangers and operators of the Indonesian National Police in the post-30 September Movement period of 1965-68 wherein the POLRI helped in the arrests of many members of the Communist Party of Indonesia and its allied and affilated organizations, and the courage of the personnel of the Singapore Armed Forces during the Indonesian-Malaysian Confrontation from 1963 to 1965 then serving as part of the Malaysian Armed Forces, we must be strong and firm in our conviction and resolve to continue the fight against the CPC and its allies and supporters across the wider Western World.

We today must stand proud and ready to defend all that symbolizes and identifies with the Western World, even as we continue to fight against the threat of climate change, and the dangers of artificial intelligence in present day society, and let not any stone be left unturned in the battle that we are waging especially against the forces of international Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism, towards our overall goal of a prosperous, sustainable and brighter tomorrow for the world and for humankind.

As we celebrate this year the 65th anniversary of Project National Glory and the 39th anniversary of the conclusion of Martial Law in the ROC, as well as the 30th anniversary of the historic first ever direct presidential elections in the ROC's history, once more we therefore renew our commitment and determination to be a force for national unity of all the peoples of the one and only true Republic of China - regardless of politicial party affilation, ethnicity, language and region - against our politicial, ideological and economic enemies at home and abroad, and to struggle to fulfill the will that Generallismo and Grand Marshal Chiang Kai-Shek gave to the Republic of China Armed Forces in 1963-64 and that Chiang Ching-Kuo gave to the peoples of the Western World in 1979: No contract, compromise nor negotiations with the CPC and its allied parties and all its allies, supporters and sympathizers all over the world until all of them have been defeated, destroyed and dissolved altogether, and an all-out commitment to the now century-old wider international struggle against Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism all over the globe and all that they symbolize, even if it means most importanly losing our lives, following the example of the ROC and Hong Kong martyrs who fought against Russia in Ukraine until death.

As the Communists illegally in power in Beijing plot to invade Taiwan and continue tyo destroy the Hong Kong democracy movement active since the last decade, while helping Russia's and Iran's wars and the fight for Palestine and in the wider struggle against the West in all fronts, we must carry on the memory of not only all those who died on that one day in 1989 whose sacrifices painted the door that would be opened for the freedom of millions of people in the rest of the Eastern Bloc, that would be climaxed later in the year with the breaking of the Berlin Wall, the Czechoslovak Velvet Revolution and the bloody Romanian Revolution, the big dominos that would lead up to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, exactly 35 years ago, but also of the many other victims of Communism in the Chinese mainland and in much of East Asia, in particular in Vietnam and the Korean Peninsula.

More than ever, motivated by the example of the Taiwan ROC and Hong Konger martyrs who died fighting against Russia in Ukraine, let us even more continue that good fight because it is imperative that these the millions of peoples of China and therefore much of East Asia are to be liberated from these ideologies, more than ever before in our history. For our goals are very clear, as we are, as paraphrased in my statement on r/ ChunghwaMinkuo last January, as one united people of the Free Western World, to openly pursue these policies:

1. The formal and deliberate reunification of the Republic of China with the Chinese mainland in much of its 1948 borders including much of the lands stolen from the Empire of China by the Russian Empire north of the Amur in the 19th century, all to be done by any and all means necessary particularly as a last resort military reunification option using lessons learned during the implementation of Project National Glory in 1964 and the Korean and Vietnam Wars especially with support from the Western World, especially the USA, Israel and Ukraine,
2. The CPC's ultimate defeat and final and definite destruction along with that of its mainland Chinese allied parties, all its friends, allies, supporters and sympathizers, and and all its allied foreign political parties and organizations across the world including the Workers Party of Korea and the Communist Party of Vietnam, both in the far-right and far-left alike,
3. the restoration of the ROCs 1947 Constitution and its Additional Articles, the 3 Principles of the People, the 4 Cardinal Principles the 8 Virtues and all of the Chinese peoples' and all of the nation's traditions, values and freedoms to the rest of the Chinese mainland, inclusive of Tibet, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Macau,
4. a full-scale contribution to the fight against the West's enemies both far-left and far-right worldwide particularly with regard to the ROC, especially politically, ideologically, economically, morally and most of all thru military means,
5. and as the unmistakable retribution of all those millions of people who have perished as victims of Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism in China, all of East Asia and worldwide, as well as those of our Western armed forces who perished in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Without any shadow of a doubt, ladies and gentlemen, there is no other way for us but to continue on this ongoing and now century-old struggle to await for that day and time when Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism are all defeated all over the world, a struggle we must contribute at all fronts, especially thru military means.

The goal of the defeat and destruction of the Communist Party of China and its allies, supporters and sympathizers across the world is part of our wider mission, our wider goal as we prepare as one people for the Third World War that will be soon coming to our midst, a war that we must be prepared, as one people, especially if the Iran War and the planned Russian attacks in Eastern Europe, a expansion of the ongoing Russian illegal war against Ukraine, will make things even worse than ever before.

As I have said numerous times, let us, the united and determined millions of people of the Western World, as one people, fight more fiercely and courageously against these ideologies, whether they are far-leftist or far-rightist alike, motivated by the ongoing struggles of South Korea, Republic of China in Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel, and the fighting peoples of Georgia and Iran, to continue the good fight to defend the Western World's values, principles, and ideologies, as well as its economic system, our way of life, arts and culture, the environment, sports, and most importantly, our future, against all of its enemies, both domestic and foreign, especially at the cost of losing our lives.

Today, as we celebrate Canada Day, SAF Day and Indonesian National Police Day, let us, more than ever before, continue onwards the path of continious, lifelong and eternal struggle towards our common goal: the formal eradication, elimination and destruction of Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism all over the world, and work as one people to bring it to fulfillment, so that as the day of the total and definite victory of the Western World against all these ideologies arrives, may it bring forth a day of spriging hope and joy towards a brighter and best tomorrow for humanity and the world.

May today  inspire us all to continue this struggle for the defense of the ROC and all of the Western World, against its enemies, of progress, prosperity and hope for all its peoples and for all the Chinese of the world, and for us to continue working and marching onwards as one united people to prepare for the day we will all "Go and Reclaim the Mainland" most especially at the cost of our lives!

Once more, let us therefore, today, everyday and always, continue to struggle with all our best to combat Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism across the wider world and thus carry on the spirit of the countless millions of martyrs that have had fallen in the struggle against these ideologies for over a century and have died as victims of these ideologies. Let us never give up this long standing struggle until all of these ideologies, illegal and murderous, have all been destroyed and eliminated altogether, especially in the field of battle, as we all as one people await for that very day that the ideologies, values, principles and ideals of the Western World will finally triumph against its enemies.

And finally, therefore, to all of us and all of you who are part of the wider anti-Fascist, anti-Radical Islamist, anti-Religious Fundamentalist, anti-Socialist and anti-Communist struggle all across the world: let us, together as one united people of the Free Western World, continue to fight that good fight, especially at the cost of all our lives, to achieve and win even more greater victories in the name of the Western World and all those it symbolizes and stands for, especially for all its ideologies, values and principles, towards the ultimate goal of the final defeat and ultimate destruction of all these ideologies all over the world, so that it can finally come at long last - that very much awaited day of the definite, final and great victory of the brave millions of people and the armed forces of the Western World!

Tonight, with the victory of the Oklahoma Sooners in the 79th NCAA Division 1 Men's Baseball CWS, we've come at long last to the close of yet another amazing season of collegate club and varsity baseball in the USA and Canada, six long months of action across all 8 varsity and 3 club leagues in the USA and the Canadian Conference in Western Canada and their member conferences and teams. Our congratulations to them and to all the champions from this year! And to all who took part - the players, team staff, coaches and management, stadium staff and broadcast teams, and most of all the fans, all of you who became a part of this memorable run from the regular season, to the playoffs and the championships, thank you all very much.

We also extend our greetings to the 3 other international champions of the spring collegiate season from the Philippines, the UK and Japan.

To you all our non-USA fans, thanks for your interest and support this season and for helping as well to grow this fanbase globally. And more importantly, to all of you all the fans here in North America, I extend my gratitude as well for being a part of this season and for growing this game more than ever before.

To all involved in this year's ongoing summer league season, as well as to the fans, in addition to all prospectives for next month's MLB Draft, and all those participating in the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp, our best of luck. The baton is now yours to carry until the fall. On that note we here oppose any and all efforts to change the MLB Draft stock and orders, as well as any moves to change the MiLB, by the owners of the MLB's teams in the forthcoming CBA, as well as any plans for an international draft, especially, without any regards for the concerns from the collegiate sport at large and its players, even if the plans to remove high schoolers from the draft will benefit it as a whole.

We officially bring to a close tonight this the 167th year of collegiate club and varsity action all over this great land, the end of a long chapter of a long and distinguished history dating to the first of July of 1859, yet another historic year that has seen many great moments and memories across the board across all leagues and conferences, a historic record breaking season that will be remembered for generation upon generation. As all the flags are being lowered tonight for the final time, may the memories of what has been a great season overall be remembered by all of us, and all of you, for the rest of our lives. For tonight also not just marks the end of celebrations of 180 years since the first baseball game played in Hoboken in 1846 but also the beginning of the celebrations of our 167th anniversary since that first collegiate game was held in 1859.

And thus, in true Olympic fashion, with Olympic Day coming tomorrow, as we close down this the 167th collegiate baseball season, on behalf of all of us fans, I therefore ask all of you, the young boys of the United States, especially to all those committed, and the few but growing ranks of women's players in collegiate baseball, to prepare thus for the forthcoming 168th collegiate club and varsity baseball season together, as the vanguard of the next generation and the hope for the sport's future glories ahead. Tonight, as this the 167th chapter of our sport's story has officially ended, we now look forward to begin, come next January, the beginning of the 168th season across all leagues and conferences, and a brand new chapter of this history to share with all of you fans around the world.

And so, in closing, to paraphrase the late Vin Scully on his final sign off, as we tonight formally conclude this great year in collegiate baseball:

May God give you for every storm, a rainbow,

For every tear, a smile,

For every care, a promise,

And a blessing in each trial.

For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share,

You all, the millions of fans around the world, and I have been friends for a long time, but I know in my heart that I’ve always needed you more than you’ve needed me and everyone in this sport, and I, and millions of fellow baseball fans everywhere, will by this time of the year miss our time together more than you and I can say.

But you know what — there will be a new day, and eventually a new year.

And indeed in that new year, beginning in January of 2027, our journey to Omaha will soon begin once more, as the seasons come and go, as our collegiate game returns in full spendor, and a new batch of boys ready to join the ranks of the one of the oldest collegiate sports in North America, ready to do their best once again for the glory of their teams, universities and home towns, in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play, and about all, to become successors to a long and faithful tradition of excellence in collegiate sports in this nation and around the world.

June 19th. Juneteenth. Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Vietnam. Two celebrations in one day, two reasons that we must never forget all those who perished in the battle against Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism and Communism all around the world, all over the years.

To all of you fans this very week of baseball's official birthday (June 19, 1846) is also, technically, the last of the collegiate baseball season in the USA and Canada. For this weekend we will bid farewell to what has been yet another amazing season across all leagues, divisions and conferences across this great land.
