What do you like about living here? Do you live here by choice?

Admittedly, I have had a hard time seeing how Idaho Falls could be an attractive place to live in, especially with very cold and windy winters and the heat in the summer. People are friendly though. I appreciate that part.

Does this look like an active beaver dam to you?

Was out looking for beavers in the forest and found this. Admittedly I arrived at the wrong part of the day (mid day, when it was somewhat hot) and didn't see any beaver but I think I found the dam? I'm just unsure because these are so huge and neatly organized that it seems man-made, but maybe neat and organized is their MO.

What caused the demarcations on these aspen tree bark?

As a photographer, I am always drawn to textures and patterns. I saw these aspen trees with various "scars" and am wondering if anyone knows what causes them?

Is there a way to not show the date of when my videos were shot when I share them by creating a link? Currently, it automatically says "Wednesday, July xx" when it is sent to recipients. Thanks.

What is it and what is it doing?

Who is this excavator and what's it doing? I watched it dig what looked like the start of a tunnel. Later, it moved quickly to scout another spot and start to dig through another. Maybe it's trying to connect two "ends" eventually to make one long tunnel underground? What caught my attention was its rather loud vocalization. I traced the sound and eventually found that it came from this guy.

Is this Old Man's Beard?

I was walking along Deschutes National Forest and saw a bunch of these hairy fibers dangling from what I assumed were pine trees. Is this the stringy lichen, Old Man's Beard?

Flesh fly (I think)

It was huge, loud and I found it somewhat obnoxious. But then I realized that since it wouldn't go away, I should find ways to enjoy its presence and learn about it. I do that through photography.

Dimension with side wings of Solix 1000 gen 2

**Urgent** Could someone pls let me know the length of the unit with the side wings included? I called Anker and their automated robot said Anker only publishes the dimension of the main body, which for this unit is 15.12 inches. I have very tight space in my SuV and need to know the length with wings included before buying. Thank you!

Take order of $15 and above

I just did my first three orders. Total earnings was $15. One to Taco Bell (the worst, took over 30 minutes to get order because their lobby closed after 9pm and I had to wait in a long line of cars in drive through), one at a restaurant (where the client paid no tip), and one to Subway. I declined a McD so far. I don't depend on DoorDash for $$ going forward so could afford to be choosy. If I keep declining dismal offers like $5 here and there and only accept ones that pay around $15 and abive, my acceptance rate would drop, especially since I'm new. I don't care about the metrics but I wonder if I only take $15 and above offers, would the algorithm learn to not bother sending me low-ball offers? Or would they just not send me orders at all because my acceptance rate is low? I work remote so don't need to actually sit around and wait. I work on my own tasks until a good offer show up.

Use case for magnetic external, dashboard and overhead mount

Since I travel a ton and work from the road, I got a strong magnet external mount that could stick to the hood or roof of the car, a mount that sticks to the car dashboard, and one with suction cups for overhead charging with cigarette lighter, just to try and see which might be useful. Then I realized that since I can't browse the web or take Zoom meetings while I drive, i can't really think of why I would need the connection while my car is moving. When I reach my destination, I could just plug the unit to a Jackery and connect. For navigation, I could always download Google map before entering the dead zone.

My question is: why do people who always travel solo need connection on the go? What use case am I missing here?

How do I replace the serial number of an old Mini with a new Mini?

I don't know how to delete the old mini serial number and info from my starlink acct. I have returned that dish a year ago. Now I have a new one and don't know how to input new serial number to the account. Or, should I create a brand new starlink acct with new Mini?

Is US Bank a trustworthy bank to open a platinum business checking and fund $25K with for their $1200 offer? What are ways they could scam me out of getting the bonus after I complete my end of the bargain?

Sole proprietor here. This is the offer I reference. https://www.usbank.com/business-banking/banking-products/business-bank-accounts/business-checking-account/platinum-business-checking-account-package.html#FAQ Has anyone actually received the bonus without issues? My main concern is that they would randomly close my account when I get close to 60 days. And somehow freeze my account/funds when I need to access my funds quickly for emergencies.
