How many officers out there can work when things get tense like a customer acting up but cannot take it when a client or their staff is just being an asshole for no good reason?
Apparently the head of asset protection hates to see officers idle so he adds multiple tasks to the post order.
In the receiving yard for a store the officer on sentry has a few responsibilities, which involve taking bills from truck drivers, delivering it to the the receiving secretary take down fridge temps, open the gate for trucks and direct them where to park and deliver their bills back to them. While doing all that you have to write in the log book every hour
When im working the yard I tend to go check on the secretary every 30 mins when she doesn't have a bill ready she yells and tells me she would radio me when she is ready. The one time I waited an hour instead waiting to be radioed as I enter the office the secretary and forklift driver yelled at me for taking too long, no one radioed me.
The next thing is whenever the freezers were off and I informed her she tells me she knows and it suppose to be off but when I didn't remind her she yells at me.
My coworkers tell me its because I seem quiet and wont retaliate, I don't want to get in trouble that's why.
For context years ago I had a friend where we were good together but the moment she introduced me into her circle of friends things became a mess, whenever one of them had a problem with me wheather it was my child like behavior (Teenage years) or autism behavior, they would complain to my friend and then she would tell me I am the problem and should change or else i would grow up to be alone. I tried talking to her about the bullying and how I didnt like it but again she tells me I should just live with it because I deserved it. after a big outburst on my end i thought It was best to cut ties with her and the group and be happy, over the years I told myself that I made a mistake and i should not have cut ties with her beating myself up and all that noise, a mutual friend told me she wont mind if i messaged her again and so I did.
when we talked nothing about her has changed she still talks to me telling me rude things and passing it off as her wisdom, when the mutual and I got in a argument she told me that the said mutal had to go to the hospital because their mental state was bad which I understand I was there for him when he needed someone to talk to but she tells me I should not be be there for others while my mental state (autism) is not fixed. she kept bringing up the past and telling me that I need to make an effort in order to be friends with her again which felt like deja vu when I was making an effort to be normal for others but every attempt just ended with me being punished.
I confessed to the mutual why im no longer talking to her casually and just keeping her at a distance, Mutual said he would talk to her after I told him not too but he still did so anyway, next thing I know she is giving me more words of wisdom saying that I dont know how to trust people and how this is why I would die alone, another thing she told me years ago that still stuck with me today.
TL:DR got back with a former friend but after a while I realised it was not worth it
You know we all have those games that our friends refuse to play because we like it.
Growing up I've had this anger issue where if im overwhelmed with emotion I would snap and either yell my lungs out or lash out. I've tried so many things to keep it under wraps I've tried therapy I've tried medication I've even tried to find ways to stay on top but none of it ever works for long.
The good news is I don't get angry often just once in a blue moon. Recently I gave my wife of 2 years a black eye and my knuckles cut her forehead. I felt bad I told her to press charges and be rid of me but she wants to work through i tried causing harm to myself feeling like im a failure and I don't deserve to live and such but she insists it's alright.
Look I know im a bad person for harming her but I dont want to harm her ever again everytime i look at her I see her bruised eye and I break down I want to fix myself, any idea where do I start?
Everytime I talk about my week in work and all the crappy things I have to endure one of my friends always replies with "Pain". Never really thought much of his response just that it's what he says when you share a bad day. I adopted his response whenever he mentioned something about his job or how his computer stopped working I replied with "Pain" eventually he got upset and accused me of mocking him and undermining his problems when I asked what does he mean because he does the same thing to me he denies it.
My guy friends were talking amongst themselves about the various anime recommendations they got from girls. One shared his experience where he watched a show recommended to him out of curiosity and was labeled a pervert another was recommended a gay show which wasn't to his liking and so on.
My question is that term sexist?
Already worked an exhausting double Monday night into Tuesday night Wednesday I was suppose to be off but I was called last minute by operations manager to fill in for another officer I agree under the condition I was to be relieved the next morning.
Thursday morning I'm waiting for releif waited 1 hour to call management next thing i know management said im written down to work a double, I put my foot down and said I never agreed to work a double they ignored me called the operations manager he said he will find someone no response from him since.
Working a shift at a warehouse tonight the lights have been on the fritz since June other officers have reported the problem to the client and manager but their report are ignored so the guards made an attempt to temp fix the breaker box themselves it worked for a while now the lights refuse to stay on.
Working in total darkness would be fine and all if I didn't have to worry about rats and roaches crawling on me but I will manage.
Compliance officers are going to breath down my neck about this tho
Every month I put a quarter of my paycheck into the credit union a portion in shares and a portion in savings, over the course of a month I sometimes have no choice but to take out some money incase of an emergency.
Last week and yesterday I withdrew some cash and i'm looking to withdraw my last portion tomorrow for another emergency. My problem is I am worried that my next visit to the credit union would raise some red flags or eyebrows as it would not look good, AIO?
Also my credit union doesn't have any established ATMs so I have to visit the branch.

My Nephew is 14 and has recently been saying a lot of hurtful things about women but nothing vulgar. His mother and also my sister in law wants me to "beat it out of him" but I don't beat kids instead I got curious and asked him to share why he suddenly hates girls turns out it all stems from a classmate of his beating him up causing everyone to laugh but when he pushed her everyone was quick to defend the girl. I told him to not let it get to him and a similar scenario I witnessed recently he felt better knowing he was not the only one.
His mother got mad saying I was condoning misogyny when in reality I was helping him work through his hate, he doesn't hate women anymore just the one person who was bullying him.
Asset protection at a site I used to work was one of the most toxic individuals you will ever meet, instead of doing their jobs what they are supposed to do they like to trouble officers and find reasons to get them removed from site, they love to complain about the smallest error with guards and they love to encourage officers being treated like dogs.
There are many incidents with me and asset protection most of which I stood up for myself and I was too afraid to do so but the one that drives me up a wall would be the time. An asset protection once tried to get me in trouble because he was not clear on orders.
Afternoon one shift I was stationed at the back entrance my task was to check trolleys, check bags ane check for ID. It was in the middle of employee shift change so traffic in and out was overwhelming.
While I was checking 4 carts filled with items this asset protection kept repeating to me "clear the way" because another security company tasked with money transport was about to leave. So my stupid self thought he meant move the carts out of the way and I did that the other company guards told me the usual "be safe" and left. The asset protection saw that and immediately told me I was to open the door for that i said "oh" and left it at that another employee heard him and argued saying his instructions was vague and the asset protection started to argue with her, the employee left and The AP followed her arguing in the car park for 10 minutes. He came back inside and went to his office.
On my next shift the same AP didn't bother to address the yesterday incident at the meeting (they always bring up issues at meetings) infront my supervisor he instead waited until my supervisor and a senior officer was alone with me to bring it up as an attempt of embarrassment, I stood my ground and told them what really happened and the AP felt threatened, the other guards had to ease me down and waited until he left to tell me to not listen to him because he loves drama.
The incident was then reported to my accounts manager with video proof and my manager said "but he was not clear on what he meant why is he trying to stress me out?"
There are other incidents with Asset protection but please tell me they are not as bad at your sites
Seeing a lot of power trip posts now and im curious.
The only time I got aggressive with customers was when being passive didn't work and the client caused me to go to HR by lying and said I neglected my duties.
But when I was given another chance I started to be aggressive enforcing the store policy so I won't have to get in trouble again
I get it we all have our own problems, I understand that we all grieve differently and are hurt in different ways.
For the love of God whenever someone asks me what's wrong and I tell them what it is, it could be work, anxiety or recent events im still trying to recover from, someone always gotta say
"Bobby has it worse because he is depressed he can't get a gf"
"Timmy has it worse because he thier favorite show got canceled"
I get those are also bad but then why ask me if you are going to invalidate me?
