1st time out of the states
Next year for my 40th birthday I would like to see England as part of my bucket list and heritage. I'm interested in the history of England kings queens I've watched so many documentaries. I'd like to visit as most of the historical must see places in England as possible In 10 days. If possible I'd like to go over to Normandy for a day or so too. I'd be flying out of Charlotte NC where should I stay? I've read London and York. Would it be better to stay in York and travel around each day? I budget minded and traveling solo would like a Private bathroom.
