Which is wear for friend’s Death to 20’s bday (everyone wear black)

We are meeting at a trendy bar first then a fancy steakhouse for dinner…

These are 3 dresses I own …I’m torn between them because I am also meeting her family and friends for the first time

First is super cute, but too booby I think

Second I love, but maybe too sexy?

Third is super safe but perhaps too business looking for the locations ?

I may be overthinking, but do any of these work or should I find something else?

TY! 🖤

Immediate symptoms??

Week 2 on Reta:
Started at 0.5mg and the next day felt fatigue and nausea. First week had to force myself to eat anything

A friend said it was impossible to feel results that quickly so I figured it was all in my head??

But this past Saturday I did my second shot at 1mg and had headaches fatigue and very nauseas for two days straight. I constantly feel like I just ate a huge meal and repulsed by food and even water. Again forcing myself to eat but I can’t even drink half a protein shake without feeling I may puke.

My libido has tanked to the negatives (I’m normally hyper sexual so vast change there) I ordered Maca Root and Saffron Extract to possibly help

I know for fact I’m not eating the calories and protein intake I need to so I’m worried to lose the muscle I’ve built hard for the past year

Does it get better?? Did anyone else experience all of this almost immediately?

Besides that I feel great!! No food noise/cravings. No desire for alcohol or sweets and snacking. Bloat is minimizing and I’ve lost 5 lbs

Where can I get Vegan/Dairy Free/GF pastries or cakes?

I know that’s a big ask, but I’d like to find a cake or nice dessert for my birthday that I don’t have to make 😅

I am not Vegan, but have to eat that way due to severe egg and dairy allergies and also have Celiac.

I find many vegan desserts still contain gluten — or vice versa — GF desserts still contain egg and/or milk.

Suggestions and recommendations appreciated 🙏🏻

39/F How to improve bare face? Feel drastically diff with and without makeup (last 5 no makeup )

I feel like makeup makes me look drastically different especially in the eyes!
Without makeup people think I look sad or tired.

As I am getting older I don’t want to feel I need to wear makeup to look beautiful and feel confident

What can I do to help improve my bare face?

Please no surgery advice.
Never done Botox and only done 0.5 lip filler once in 2022
Tried microblading and lash extensions but had severe allergic reactions

Apologies for the jump scare in advance 🤣

People who pass you and look straight/ignore..

We had a younger couple move across the street from us a couple years ago. In the past year we’ve gotten very close and double date etc.

We had an outing together recently and had a great time laughing and chatting and talked about our next plans to hang out

The next day I’m walking into the gym and felt eyes on me and I looked up and it’s my neighbor but he quickly looked away and just looked super serious and straight ahead and put his chin up

I wanted to tap him and say hi but he seemed almost purposely trying to avoid even acknowledging me.

Why do guys do this?

For the record we’ve seen him in the gym before and he’s had no problem coming up and chatting with us! But I was alone this time

39/F Square glutes? Any hope?

I’ve been working really hard to grow my glutes and create a rounder shape, but I naturally have hip dips (violin hips) and more of a square-shaped butt.
I’m really happy with my progress from the side/profile, but from the back I still feel like it looks too square—especially in leggings, biker shorts, bodycon dresses, and swimsuits.

Has anyone here started with a similar glute shape and been able to noticeably round it out naturally?

If so, what made the biggest difference? Or is this mostly down to genetics, with a BBL or injections being the only way to truly change the shape?

The last photo is my starting point (2017)

I train glutes/legs 2x per week.
Each workout includes 5–6 of the following exercises:

Hip thrusts
Romanian deadlifts (RDLs)
Bulgarian split squats (BSS)
Deficit reverse lunges
Step-ups
Cable kickbacks
Seated hamstring curls
Glute-focused hyperextensions
Seated hip abductions
Banded clamshells

I’d really appreciate any advice from women who have a similar build or glute shape

RDL form check 🙏🏻

I’d love some feedback on my RDL form. (Apologies the video isn’t the best angle)

I’ve noticed is that I don’t really feel a strong stretch in my glutes until the dumbbells are almost down to my feet.
Is that normal, or am I hinging too deep?

For context, I’m 4’10”, so I’m wondering if my shorter legs (or my proportions) mean I naturally need a greater range of motion to get that stretch.

I do feel it mostly in my glutes with a little in my hamstrings, and not in my lower back.
Does my depth and overall form look appropriate, or is there anything I should adjust?

How to deal with this?

I’m 4’10” and been with my husband for 20+ years and married for 15. He was my first bf ever and we’ve had a great relationship. However, the past 2-3 years I’ve noticed him growing increasingly insecure about himself and our relationship. He almsot consistently acts like I am going to leave or cheat on him and the topic of height gets brought up a lot. He is 5’6-5’7 ish. He’s gotten super protective to the point I can’t go out alone without him (to grocery stores, the gym, etc) he truly believes some man is going to waltz in and take me from him and he makes me feel guilty or puts me down a lot but I know it’s bc of his own fears and insecurites. We are both in therapy indivually btw….. just wondering what I can possibly do to ease his feelings and ensure he knows that I’m not leaving and I love him for who he is height and all. I do tell him this a low but he doesn’t believe me

Just sharing a win: 225 lb hip thrust today ! 🥲

My glutes are my weakest muscle and I’ve tried on and off for years to grow stronger larger glutes. Finally taking it super seriously and since January I’ve built up to this.
It might not be much for some girls, but huge deal for me.

Also before anyone compares I do have extensive athletic background and a former bikini bodybuilding Champion in 2012 so this was a longgg time
Coming

What happened to good eye contact?

I’ve noticed something about myself and I’m curious what others think from a body language/psychology perspective.

When I’m talking to someone, I naturally maintain pretty deep, prolonged eye contact—not in a creepy “serial killer stare” way, but because I’m genuinely interested and fully engaged in the conversation. I want people to feel seen and truly listened to since that’s so rare these days

I’ve noticed a lot of people seem to get uncomfortable. They’ll look away frequently, break eye contact, or sometimes barely make eye contact at all.

Does prolonged eye contact tend to intimidate people? Do most people interpret it as confidence, intensity, attraction, or something else? Or is it simply that many people aren’t used to that level of eye contact?

I’d love to hear your experiences, whether you’re the one making eye contact or the one receiving it.
Is this a common courtesy of the past? Have times changed so much that it isn’t welcome anymore ?

Edited to add: I know eye contact is tough for neurodivergent ppl (my husband and son are AuDHD…that’s not what I’m talking about here though)

**2nd edit: I am a woman if that makes a difference, I was raised by older parents who grew up in the 50’s and this was considered polite to look at people when they speak. I’m honestly shocked by all the comments here 😅… and no I don’t continue eye contact if I already sense the person is uncomfortable. I do look away or down on occasions or at my surroundings etc while someone speaks and and by prolonged I don’t man dead stare I mean even just a few seconds of eye to eyes meeting I notice ppl just hate that these days. It’s bizarre to me

F/39/4’10” [140 lbs > 120 lbs = 20 lbs] (72 months - 6 year span) 2020/2024/2026…it’s been a journey!

Proud of myself! My weight has fluctuated my whole life and it’s been a rollercoaster, but the past 6 years I’ve gone from my heaviest to losing the weight from home workouts and diet alone - (dropped down to 107-110) to now in the gym putting on muscle.

Perimenopause is now making things challenging, but determined to navigate this to continue to feel my best 🙌🏼
