Gargoyle curls. I don't know who to thank, but I know I saw it here first.
Sorry I disappointed you guys with my twisty deadlift. Can I redeem myself with some heavy lunges?
You all are either gonna get me stronger, or crippled. Am I doing this "right"?
Dont skip the warm up. 3 x through in under 10 min. Its worth the time.
120lb goblet squat with the chains trying to fall off.
Trying to turn these calves into cows.
Try a few of these before your next lower body day, or any time you want your back feeling loose and happy.
When that fb memory pops up to remind you how fat you were 4 years ago.
14 months between the pictures. The after picture is from 2 years ago. I'm back up to 190 more useful pounds today. High protien diet never below 1800 and as much as 28-2900 during that time. Training mostly 3 day fb and compound heavy, walking on off days, very little more than zone 2. Anyway, maybe I can hang out here. The over 50 sub is a bunch of wet blankets.
Appreciation post.
When I posted my boy's lift in here the other night, it was for fun. I thought some would get a kick out of it and I am always proud of him. But when I showed him the next day that it had made the top post , it did something to him. There was a twinkle in his eyes. He felt the power of positive reinforcement. He had to tell his mom and sisters about it. When i picked him up at daycare, he'd told all of his friends that didnt believe he did it, so i had to show them all the video. It pumped a young man's already inflated ego into the stratosphere. So this is just to say thanks to the ones who gave him an upvote or took the time to comment. I think it went a long way in showing him that strength is special, it makes you different than other people who dont have it. Now, back to the shenanigans.
