As LN readers know, Tensura S4 cour 1 was adapted from LN volume 10. Now, I won’t lie to you, but this volume is the most boring volume in the entire LN. Almost everyone who read the LN can agree with me that Volume 10 was extremely boring. It kept dragging on with pointless events, and even the Mariabell fight was done too casually. Nothing in that volume was fun at all. I only read it without skipping because I am a dedicated Tensura fan and will probably die on this ship before I skip a single volume of the LN. Though, it took me months to actually finish reading it. That is to tell you how boring this volume, LN volume 10, is.

Now, even though the volume was boring, even I have to admit that the anime changed this. When season 4 was first announced, I was not looking forward to watching this particular volume get animated because of my experience reading it in the LN. But that changed after actually watching the anime.

Season 4 cour 1 really outdid itself. The animation, the fight scenes, the interactions of the characters, and pretty much everything in the anime actually turned a boring LN volume into a masterpiece. I must say, props to the studio for an excellent job done right. The fact that Mariabell, who was very forgettable in the LN, actually has this overwhelming presence in the anime to the point that fans will hardly forget her, shows just how much effort was put into her character in the anime.

Not saying that everything is a 10/10, but my rating for this entire season 4 cour 1 is a 9/10. I strongly hope that the rest of the cours will get the same attention as the first four from those animating it. Now I can proudly say that S4 cour 1 actually turned that boring LN volume into a masterpiece in the anime that I can rewatch with glee.

I've been having a debate off-site that Guy is stronger than Ivarage and he'd win but some people are just not getting it.

So who wins between them in a 1vs1 fight, when both are going at full power without regard to the environment?

I was chatting with my roommate yesterday who is also a diehard Tensura fan. Now she told me that Milim is a very fun and nice character. I was like WTF! I asked her if she saw what Milim did to Carrion and Eurazania all in the name of acting and she was adamant that Milim was just playing and that she is nice to everyone. I told her that Milim's title is called Destroyer for a reason and that Milim is only nice to Rimuru and anyone she considers a friend. Besides this few, she is pretty much a bonafide demon lord to everyone else in a mean way.

This started a debate between us which we are still arguing even now. Now is Milim a nice person or not? I know she is seeing this post, so your answer will help to settle who is right between us.
