This is my first Steam Fest, focusing on older games that kept improving at their labor of love! If you released a game a while ago, but still continued to improve and build upon it even if it didn't do so well on launch, this Fest is your second chance to bring new players!

I'm a Muse Hunter for indie video games. I found this incredible conlang game in demo phase called Gata Guressi, and I've written a very glowing review.

This game is my first exposure to conlanging. And I am captivated by it in a way I haven't felt towards a game in a very long time.

The premise is setup simply. You need to search for your sibling who went AWOL in a multicultural interplanetary trade port, but you only know one of the several fictional languages in the solar system, so you receive a translator device to help. You (the player) are translating the dialogue in the conlangs. Cue Act 1.

Both the MC's personality and overall character writing is what gives this world meaning, and makes you want to engage with the conlangs because you want to understand the people living there. And the parallels to machine translation and you roleplaying as the device is incredibly relevant to the current zeitgeist. I am seeking one of two mini-ITX AMD B550 motherboards for my build; as either are compatible with the rest of my parts. Either the:

So assisted living employees are burnt out and underfunded, no? But that's because their triage is according to necessity not karma.

I propose sending a survey to their children inquiring about how the patient treated them in life, and prioritizing care to those that treated their own kids well.

This would allow you to not spread resources too thin. Good parents would be very few of them among your patients, I think. And you can sleep easy knowing those that couldn't be cared for at least earned it. Regardless of which camp the patient is in, the clients would be quite happy.

Is there a service for troubled older parents similar to the TTI?

I'm in my parents house, and they're emotionally abusive. I was sent to a psych ward once by a friend and they bring it up every time I have a minor side effect of one of my meds, this time at 5 am unprompted.

They bring it up all the time to tell me they're the only ones who will put up with me. As if the friend that sent me there didn't truly realize she made a mistake and apologized for it.

After I told them multiple times not to comment on my meds and let my doctor do his job and he made (more) empty threats to kick me out of the house.

I have some money of my own left, but not enough to move out.

I want the following:

• A paid service that can take them for a surprise ride in a van.
• Optionally, actual placement in a similar facility. Though the van should be enough to make them understand what I went through.

Please help me. With how angry y'all are, surely the market would have provided a similar service for personal closure.

I'm hosting a personal blog by https://pages.sr.ht and I wanted an accompanying mailing list newsletter. Unfortunately the mailing lists sourcehut provides are not designed for newsletters; they're designed for git-send-email workflows the way God and Linus Torvalds intended. My blog is for a non-technical audience, but I'm technically proficient and want a newsletter service that respects that. Specifically:

- Send welcome letter on subscribing and similarly unsubscribing

- Put their name in the email via template (maybe, not super important)

- Have some easy widget where they can *click an html form button* on my site and it subscribes them

- look at who is subscribed

- Have a custom-formatted plaintext part — I like the a11y of text/plain and pandoc doesn't quite cut it

- Disable tracking pixels — they're a scourge on the Internet and most email clients block them anyway

- No fancy formatting. I basically just want to write the emails in some flavor of Markdown

- pipe any replies to my personal email; but with some spam protection

- some way to ensure bots don't subscribe?

Mailchimp et al are very expensive 🙁 So I seek something that is way less pricey but as a tradeoff assumes more technical proficiency; cause I have it!

So Obsidian is Free Software (as in freedom of use), but NOT open source. You have it forever on download, your data is yours forever, and the vibrant plugin scene makes it clear that modifying the software is totally cool.

I never thought I'd see one of those in the wild. In practice, the venn diagram between Free(dom) and Open Source is practically a circle.

So. I have formally diagnosed ADHD and am in a position where I must use my (amphetamine-based) stimulants sparingly due to a shaky insurance situation.

So I'm looking into Nootropics. Caffeine has of late been making me very very ill. As in vomiting. I used to be able to chug 20oz of black cold brew, but no longer.

I've been trying the sketchy Amazon nootropics but since they also have caffeine I'm trying to avoid those.

However I have found that opening the capsule and putting like half the powder into my Matcha Tea gives me the "calmness" effect and not make me throw up. I do not know why a straight capsule vs dissolved powder works differently but it does.

So yeah. I want a non-caffeine nootropic from a non-sketchy supplement supplier for (admittedly severe) executive function problems.

Any advice?
