[Yema] Navygraf Marine Nationale "Automatic"
Went French this Friday.
Yema Navygraf Marine Nationale "Automatic." This is the early version of the relaunch with the YEMA2000 auto movement. They have since switched to the newer manufacture CMM.10 movement and it is labeled "Automatique."
I just wanted to post to let r/watches know that I enjoy this little heritage brand reboot a ton, and the YEMA2000 has actually been quite a nice little movement. I know there seems to be some early chatter online about issues with both the movement and Yema's customer service, but neither of those have been issues for me. It seems it has gotten better over the past few years as well. So maybe Yema is back to stay. :)
[Citizen] The Citizen AQ4100-47L today …
Blue Monday here in NW Florida. I have absolutely loved this watch since purchase. I bought it late December and it was delivered from Japan on January 6 of this year. I set it and have not touched the crown since … it is currently a hair shy of +2 seconds in just over 8 months. That is well within the +/-5 SPY Citizen claims.
It is my closest-to-perfect watch and I can’t recommend it enough.
2 Chomages that survived the great watch box cull of 2026!

Both great watches doing precisely what I need them to do. :)
Three Frames
I have started Three Frames as my m amateur photo journal project. I want to practice taking pictures of ideas and moments instead of just taking pictures of objects and things. So I am self-imposing a simple rule: every outing, trip, or event that I take photographs of should be distilled into just three photographs.
I want to create a photobook full of these little 3 snapshot groupings with enough emotion, atmosphere, detail, and memory to communicate the experience as completely as a written journal entry, but without a single word. The goal is not to document everything that happened, but rather to preserve what it *felt* like through images.
My first attempt is of my trip to Wacissa Springs in Northwest Florida yesterday. Let me know your thoughts on the project and if these photos make you feel anything specific. :)
All of these photos shot with Sony A7iv through a Viltrox EVO AF 26mm F2.8
Wacissa
Just getting back into doing 3-photo journals. It is a thing I have done while practicing photography - just 3 images from the event or place to fully communicate the experience. So today I did my 3-photo journal for Wacissa Springs ... let me know what you get from these three pictures. :)

[SOTC] My current 12 (+1 - my vintage Seiko)
I have been collecting for years and have curated a collection of watches that I enjoy a ton. I have fallen hard for high quality and high accuracy quartz watches, which are the dominant movement in my collection with a few mechanical/auto sprinkled in.
I don’t mind hype or flex watches (spent some time and dollars down that rabbit hole in the past) but seem to have really settled on a solid rotation of watches that I like wearing and scratch some personal itch that I can’t explain. I’m not seeking top spec or most luxurious finish, just high quality watches that make me smile when I open the watch box. :)
