I was diagnosed with Bipolar couple of months ago. My mother and I (middle child, the yet another daughter) have always had a weird relationship. I keep my distance and she has kept her kinda distance always.

Now because of Bipolar I'm supposed to sleep well so one day late at night I was awake and she said to me "You ARE Crazy!" while telling me to sleep. There was that tone there, she was not saying silly girl go to sleep, she straight up accused me of being mental. And today again, I said I want to change career paths and her sole response was to tell me to go tell that to my doctor so he can help....so basically again saying that I'm crazy. And she was serious, she meant it, that if I am talking about career change that must be because I am going crazier.

All my 36 years of life I had been trying to figure out what life means, what's my place in it, how do I live and just when I figured it out I got fired by the client, the main company is still keeping me but they can also fire anytime.

Like a stupid person I spent the whole decade stuck in one job so now my skill set is not wide either but I was depressed so I kept going day by day without out realizing I never switched jobs or learned extra skills.....And now I do not know what to do. I so desperately need a break. I have Bipolar Disorder as well, so that's not helpful either.

I'm thinking of doing my masters, which the depressed and suicidal me had never thought of doing before. Now I can do it and call it my break from work. But I so do not like technical work anymore so I do not even know if investing in masters is a good plan...but there is no other option....I was thinking of starting small business but my family is not supportive of it.

My head is hurting thinking about what to do and what not to do. And just few weeks ago I had symptoms of manic episode which my doctor has still not given the all clear signal on.

I had stopped thinking about suicide for so long but now the life is just looking so long.....How can I live that far, I can't even go through a day easily.

Hi, what kind of test is FAST test? I will be preparing for GAT soon, are they similar? Actually, I graduated 14 years ago and now I am trying for MS after such a long gap so I am bit worried about what will be in entry test. Is there some official test format, is so can someone please share it. All I found on website is "English, Analytical skills, Math etc"

I have an international package, according to EMS tracking website, the package status says that it had arrived in my Lahore region's post office and then was sent out for delivery. But there was no one at home today and I did not receive any call even though my cell number is on the package.

I have refreshed the EMS tracking website so many time and it does not show any other update. Does anyone have any idea what will happen to the package if delivery had failed? Do I have to visit post office? How many days before they send it back to the sender?

I tried calling the post office so many times but no one picked up. I even sent them email but got no response.

Hi, I am a single woman in my mid thirties. I have had a good job for more than a decade, but I deal with depression and Bipolar disorder because of all the personal struggles I lost interest in job and didn't develop my skill set well. Now my client fired a lot of people, including me and the main company might fire now as well....so I have to decide what to do.

After dealing with depression for years these days I have been feeling better and motivated about life. I was lost becuase I didn't understand my purpose in life and I was numb then finally I realized doing something for underprivileged kids gives me a purpose so I had been planning volunteering and donation when the whole firing thing happened.

I don't even have interest in technical job anymore, I just want an income source and then volunteer to help little kids. Because of so much medication my cognitive functions are going down too, I forget things a lot.

Now, if my company keeps me I will fight to be better, but if they fire me with my current resume I can't land a new job so I have two options

1. do my masters, using my savings, and do self learning ti upskill too : issues are that my memory is weak and there will be a 2 year gap in resume

2. Leave the big city , go back to my small home town, use the savings to setup a small food related business and help kids in time I can manage, like tutor them or something.

Issue: All business are risky, in small cities how a woman navigates is very limited, I'll need some male family member's help. And once I do this going back to technical job might be hard. Plus some relatives will be like why is an Engineer selling pizza now....parents can compare kids too.

What I truly want is option 2, but I am scared and family won't be cooperative. My father even has "Engineer" in his cell phone contact of me.

Please advise me. And by the way, marriage is not an option in my life so whichever path I take will be funding my old age too.

I am doing some research and I need to know why instead of hiring a service for 24/7 monitoring , an organization will run their own internal SOC. I will be doing simple web look ups for this as well but I want to hear from cyber security professionals. What are the benefits? I think internal SOC will cost less and no data will be exposed to outsiders, what else?

I ordered from this store, kpopmart.com, but I am worried now about where they ship from. I am living in Asia so I only ordered because the office address on website was South Korean but when I made the payment for order I got SMS that I had payed on a USA store.

Those who have ordered from it, can you please tell me which country they ship from? It is important for me to know becuase I'll have to pay taxes when the package arrives.
