Last week I watched Joker and the train scene where he killed 3 wall street guys stuck out to me. I find myself supporting what he did. If it happened in real life and I'm a member of the jury in his trial, I'd vote to acquit him. Even after I had a week to think about it, I'm still at the same conclusion.

Just wondering if most people think this way or is it just me?

For example, a family of 7 is murdered. Everyone is hacked to death at night and their bodies mutilated. The police came in the morning and found the eldest son sleeping, covered in everyone's blood and with the murder weapon nearby. He confessed to the murder, told detective he's just so enraged by his family that he killed them all. He even told detective details that only the perpetrator would know. Like where and how many stabs he did to each. Neighbors told the police they often heard them arguing loudly. There are CCTVs all around the neighborhood and no one went in or out except the family.

Problem is...the guy's paralyzed from the neck down. Has been for years. Doctors checked him and say it's impossible that he did the crime. But detectives also find that it's impossible for the other victims to stage it. When questioned, he said he didn't know how he did it, it's like a dream. Then came the lawyer, who promptly shut down further questioning.

How would this case end? Would the DA refuse to prosecute this?

I understand that the Hrgovic fight was the first time Itauma had ever gone past six rounds professionally. I also understand that fighting a tough, experienced heavyweight like Hrgović is completely different from anything he'd experienced before.

But what I don't understand is how he could become that exhausted.

By the later rounds he looked completely spent. This is a young professional athlete who has been training at a high level for years and was preparing for a 12 round world heavyweight title fight.

Obviously you don't necessarily want a heavyweight doing 12 rounds of hard sparring and taking unnecessary damage, but couldn't you simulate the physical demands in other ways? Especially when your fighter has literally never experienced rounds 7–12 in an actual fight.

So for people who actually understand boxing conditioning: how can someone who trains as much as Itauma still gas that badly?

Shouldn't a good training camp have exposed this problem before the fight? Would it be fair to say Ben Davison failed to prepare him beforehand AND failed to advise him during?

The other day, I was driving on the highway. Suddenly, there's a very reckless driver who are just zig-zagging past everybody with his sport car. Intuitively, I slowed down a bit because it's possible he would get into an accident just ahead and I don't want to get into an accident.

But then I thought to myself, do I care if this person gets into an accident? Would I even stop to help? Sadly, the answer is a big fat NO. I was even secretly HOPING the person would get into a solo accident with the way he was driving.

It then got me thinking, do others think like this too? Would someone considered a good person think like this? How can a good person be glad if someone gets into an accident and very possibly pass away with the speed he was going?

Whether it be level or mixed, I very rarely see a singles game anymore because doubles are just much more efficient use of court time.

I have a slight problem when my opponent do a good attacking clear to my backhand side. I feel like all I can do is either round the head clear back or my only counter is a fast cross court clear. There seems not to be enough time for a half smash or a fast drop. Are there particular techniques to countering attacking clears to the backhand side in doubles?
