Distribution on soundcloud Scam?

Hello I just saw that we can distribute music on soundcloud with the pro artist subscription

So I have the pro artist subscription and start distributing my songs

But it’s been more than 15 days since it’s been marked in treatment

My question is if people here distributed music with soundcloud and how long did it take to contribute to Distrokid for example?

Nobody talks about it, but that's where the money is.

Hi everyone,
I see a lot of posts here about production, mixing, Spotify streams, playlists, and distribution. But I rarely see discussions about the business side of music beyond streaming.

I’m an entrepreneur, so I tend to look at music as a product and a business.

Instead of waiting for Spotify, YouTube or other platforms to generate revenue, why aren’t more artists selling directly to businesses?

I’ve come across several restaurant, café and retail business communities where owners are looking for affordable background music solutions because Spotify and YouTube aren’t always the right fit for commercial use.

Has anyone here tried selling custom playlists or licensing music directly to cafés, restaurants, hotels or retail stores?
I’d love to hear your experience. Is there a reason this business model isn’t discussed more often?

Did anyone expect Grok to overtake Seedance this quickly?

Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Preview just reached #1 on Video Arena, surpassing Seedance 2.0.

Are we finally seeing real competition at the top, or will the leaderboard look completely different again next month? 🤔

Nothing is real anymore. We are reaching the point where crowd scenes can be entirely generated by AI.

AI can now realistically simulate massive crowds and public events.

The scary part isn’t the quality anymore.

It’s how quickly people are discovering creative ways to use it.

Reality online is about to get very confusing. 💀

We're reaching a point where "AI-generated but visually realistic" content will become the norm, not the exception. 👀

We have entered the era of artificial general intelligence.

This AI UGC cost less than a coffee… and that’s honestly terrifying.

We’re about 3 months away from nobody being able to tell what’s real anymore.

We may have just witnessed the beginning of a new era in cinema.

I'm starting to believe that AI can already make movies.

Is AI already too advanced for Hollywood?

I refuse to believe we're already there: DBZ characters presented as amateur VHS recordings from the '90s.

I transformed higgsfield, a $5,000 custom Airtable extension, into open source so that developers could draw inspiration from it. Over 400 nodes.

This is the frontend for an Airtable extension that controls an AI studio backend. React + TypeScript + Airtable Blocks, with a setup screen for backendUrl and no hardcoded public backend. I’m sharing it so people can learn how to build real app-like extensions on top of Airtable.

Can we now say that AI is ready to make full-length films?

This is next level.

The consistency between the characters and the settings is incredible.

What do you think?

Gaussian Splatting = Business Opportunity in 2026?

Hello everyone 👋

I recently discovered Gaussian Splatting thanks to a video on X.

As an entrepreneur, I have the following question: do you think there's a real market for this technology?

Real estate seems like an obvious application, but I'd like to know which sectors you think are the most promising for the coming years.

We should probably stop calling them “AI films.” They’re just films now.

AI won’t replace filmmakers.
But filmmakers using AI will change everything.

Seedance 2.0 mistake?

The prompt I asked Seedance 2.0 to create was “Create a cinematic movie style fighting scene of 2 guys at the roof of an abandoned building”
For some reason it created the famous actor Keanu Reeves.

Good morning 👋

Does anyone know how to make good prompts to generate dashcam / bodycam police style videos, filmed from inside a car with a girl on the run, made ultra realistic and amateur?
