Indoor balcony makes me feel odd
rightmove.co.uk🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Google trends showing a massive spike in UK searches for "eyes hurt" at the time of the eclipse last night. Are we okay 🫣😆🙃
Retro Rockstar
It doesn't massively appeal to me, but it does seem very loved and homely.
Too Jazzy?
Very funky!
55ft double aspect living space is pretty rare and unusual 👀
Not sure I need two jack-and-jill toilets 🧐
Edit: sorry have no idea how this ended up with a nsfw tag - removed!
Deathy - but ✨ designer ✨
The whole place is an abomination, just FYI but these deathstairs are quite something.
Teeny ✅ Impractical ✅ Like it is out of a Fairytale 😍
You generally want to avoid listed property, and thatched property, and the market in Cornwall is not great...
...and 630 sq ft is Impossibly tiny for 2 beds.
....and one of those bedrooms is less than 8x8ft 😱
But still - super cute!
Had a yearning for cheese and pickles
The pickles are from M&S. Cheese is a mixture of Gouda & grated mature cheddar. The bread is seeded sourdough from Gails.
When you're on a zoom call and he knows you can't stop him...
And he's on the couch that he shouldn't be on....
Is this something to query with the police?
I have these neighbours. Since May, I have seen him numerous times, but I haven't seen her once.
However, she gets post and packages all the time.
He is a very unpleasant man, so wouldn't be up for discussion.
Do I keep my beak out? They could have broken up? But why would she still be getting stuff delivered?
I can't decide if I'm worrying for nothing...
What’s the kindest thing a neighbour has ever done for you?
I'm having issues with a neighbour, and it pains me that he is such a thorn in my side, while all of the other ones are lovely.
So I wanted to try and slap on a silver lining and share stories about lovely things neighbours have done.
* An old neighbour used to come and feed my fish if I went away (sadly neither fish or neighbour around any more!)
* Putting out my bin without me even having to ask when I had a leg injury. Saved me a huge amount of pain and stress.
* Meeting for a coffee in the communal hall during lockdown 1, when nobody was allowed to meet each other (many meters apart, coffee from our own separate homes!)
I'm sure lots of other things I can't think of just yet (I've moved a lot, lots of neighbours!)
The Pain of Trying to get Medical Bodies to Communicate
This may be a UK specific rant, but perhaps people in other countries have similar gripes!
I am having medical tests at a hospital that is in X city, my GP (general doctor) is located in Y city.
There is no system for these two medical entities to speak to each other. And it makes me feel INSANE.
My GP has got rid of any way to contact them via email, meaning that there is no way for the hospital to send them results or reports. Sure, they can post them, but that's slow and inefficient and can result in things being lost or filed wrong, etc.
We're clearly not going to be dilly-dallying with fax machines, because it is 2026.
When I called the GP they said "just have the secretary to call us and we'll explain how to send stuff" - I laughed. This consultant charges HUNDREDS for a 30 min appt, his admin staff aren't going to be calling the general appts line and sitting on the call for an age to speak to someone.
Hospital X must email everything to me, then I have to fill in a form on the GP website, asking for them to send me a 1 time use link. I can't just reply to the message. The link only allows images (these are .pdfs and docs) - and they only allow 4, under 1mb. Any more than that, you have to do the process again.
The fact that there is no joined-up thinking between the private and public healthcare systems is ABSURD.
Rantus completus.
Interesting and quirky of E London
* I know that not-Londoners are going to have an absolute seizure at the price for a 1 bed.
* It is however 1248 sq ft which is a lotta space.
* The one bathroom being 2 floors below the bedroom is a recipe for disaster, my bladder could never...
* I love the cute little cobbled side street.
Incredible Hook Installation 🤌🏼
On the back of a bathroom door.
Absolutely unable to hang anything on it.
Upsetting!
Lifestyle potential…
I wonder what those walls have seen. Plastic hospital beds are definitely for an interesting ‘lifestyle’.
