Partly SOLVED. I failed to check "Reverse Motor direction"🤦🏽‍♂️

Now its shooting off on it's own after giving 5% throttle. Motors ramp up until the whole thing shoots into the air.

Still struggling with this damn build. Now its not oscillating but freaking out and giving runaway errors.

Swapped the Matrix 4in1 AIO for a GEPRC Taker F405 20A AIO.

Using 2S 650mAh Lipo instead of the 18650.

XT30 instead of BT2.0

Haven't flown it yet, but having trouble with no OSD in video and the sound coming from Skyzone 04Xpro headphone jack being just humming noise (even though I soldered 2 Filters into the steadyview receiver).

Also the frame isnt perfectly compatible with this cam, as i can't angle it upwards :(

EDIT: Fixed every issue except the bad audio one. Will need further investigation. Also it hardly flies. PIDs are super off and the whole thing wobbles like crazy. Can anyone help?

I am unsure how to wire this up.

LLMs tell me cam signal needs to go into FC to get OSD.

BetaFPV diagram says wire Cam to VTX and then to AIO.

Someone here who has done this before?

So I wanted to get rid of some light scratches in my AIR75ii cam. Bought this scratch remover paste from amazon.

First used it with a microfiber cloth, then had the fantastic idea to use a rotary tool with cottonpad buffing/polishing bit.

I am honestly shocked by the friendly and helpful customer service of Hobbydrone.

A Skyzone 04X pro I recently bought, has issues with the receiver module only working on one of the two channels.

Most shops would have tried to waste my time, blame the error on the customer, make me jump through hoops ect ect.

They replied within minutes of my messages. No gaslighting, no BS.

Absolutely mad ❤️

Took a bunch of pics to compare the ones I have, because I got midly annoyed after receiving MaAnt's "new and improved", "same product new packaging" flux absorber foam cubes.

They are now as bad as the Mechanic ones have always been. Gone is the unmatched firmness and absorption capability. They easily rip apart in use and leave specks of solvent/flux filled debris.

The new ones now also stink as bad as the rest, when they used to smell completely neutral.

The Jar version is slightly denser than the cardboard box one, but still nowhere near as dense and firm as the old ones, plus they too stink and come deformed due to higher air inclusion.

I would stay away from the lot until they get their QC under control.

The 2UUL ones are new to me. As soft as the Mechanic ones and VERY stinky. The packaging is tiny and so are the cubes. Both 2UUL and Mechanic cubes are hardly absorbing any liquid and fall apart very easily when rubbing them over SMD components. They don't stand a chance against thru hole leads.

Best overall performance is without competition still the old MaAnt cubes.

The only hope is MaAnts 130x60x20mm "Scrubbers" but one would need to cut them to size manually. They seem to be of the old MY-065 material and are incredibly dense. Will test and report if they are a viable replacement.

Tested: MaAnt MY-065, Mechanic NC800, 2UUL Firm Foam SC07.

I'm trying to stabilize footage from an o4 lite (Flywoo wide angle lens & profile)

When I enable the stabilization, Gyrowlow violently does the opposite.

I have similar problems with my o4 pro footage (both Air units are pretty new, bought this year)

Any idea whats causing this?

Das Paket ist 4 mal durch Deutschland gereist, darin Geschenke zum Vatertag.

Alle Objekte waren in Luftpolsterfolie eingewickelt, darunter eine versiegelte Plastikflasche die sich zusätzlich in einer Ziplocktüte befand.

Das alles in einem Karton mit 7mm dicker Doppelwelle.

Die zweite oder dritte Reise hätte das Paket vielleicht noch überstanden.

Die Service Hotline hat dem Empfänger was von fehlerhafter Adressierung erzählt, angeblich hätte der Nachname gefehlt. Das Originallabel kam ausgeschnitten im umverpackten Karton zurück; natürlich fehlerfrei. 🙄

Nach all dem Mist weigert sich DHL nun für den Schaden aufzukommen.

Was würdet ihr als nächste Schritte empfehlen?

Es kann doch nicht sein, dass man alles richtig macht und am Ende trotzdem so gef**kt wird.

So I've read that many of these cheapo 858Ds have a dangerous flaw, that if the fuse blows, the whole thing is live.

Wanted to fix mine according to this youtube guide, but when I opened mine I realized it looks quite different inside, basically empty.

Can someone tell me if it needs fixing or if it's okay as is (for the crappy thing it is)
