I've posted in this sub 3 times, over various months. This last time was one of the worst.

The first message I got was " Are you karma farming? " when I responded with no i got met with " Well you have 20K karma " . Ah yes because my account is 2 years old and I AM ACTIVE? Like did that thought never cross your mind 😭?

After that it just got progressively worse. In total I think i ended up with maybe just over 100 messages. You know what most of them were? HORNY MEN. If it wasn't horny men it was 38+ year olds messaging me. I AM 26 WHAT DO WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT 😭?

Oh! AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE " Its not like your gonna respond anyways. " " No one responds to dms here." Why would I want to respond to a message when your opener is basically like talking to Sadness from Inside Out 😭? How is " its not like your gonna respond " genuinely appealing. You wouldn't go up to someone in person and say that or anything close to that.

I had people claiming it was false and that I wasn't looking to talk to anyone. Y'all. I have one friend who is busy right now. No one to talk to. I just wanted friends :( all i've gotten met with is people immediately self sabotaging with the " its not like you'll respond ", horny men, people old enough to be my parent, and then getting called a liar.

Y'all wonder why women don't post and this has to be exactly why. As soon as y'all see F in the title its like y'all lose the ability to have critical thinking skills. I am very socially awkward but jesus christ im not out here doing half the shit y'all are and then complaining when I don't get a response back FOR DOING WEIRD SHIT.

Edit: Y'all are proving my point in my dms 😭 tell me why almost instally i got two messages. One from someone who is 48 ASKING FOR SNAPCHAT and just now another one saying " Hey babe ".

Whack.

So here's the situation. I haven't played since September 4th. How do I know the specific date you ask? It was the day before I put my dog down. I went to play to take my mind off of having to put her down. Booted up my Xbox, booted up my save. You know what the first thing to happen immediately was? I had my sim cook. The stove caught on fire and started burning down my tiny house 🥲.

I stared in horror as I watched my cute tiny house that I built just burning to the ground while my sim was also burning 🙃. I just closed the game out and haven't touched it since.

^^^^^ Well okay, thats a lie, I booted it up a few weeks ago, did the update but still haven't really tried playing it.

I dunno if its because it was literally the last game I played before my dog passed and it was HORRIFIC 😭 or what the heck. But whatever the case is, I just cannot bring myself to play it. I've thought about buying the new packs ( the adventure and royal ones ) but idk if doing that will help with anything 🥹.

Anyone got any suggestions?

A bit about me: I'm 26, will be 27 in June. Although as of right now, im burnt out and NOT reading anything, i'm an avid manga reader. Last series i read was Naruto ( first time reading it since like 2006 🤣 ).

^ I love animals a lot. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs.

I'm unemployed and spend my days either reading, gaming or sleeping. My current game obsessions are DDLV and Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream.

So! For a bit of background, I played DDLV at launch, on my switch lite. Man was it awful 😀. Bad enough I quit playing until September of last year when I got my switch 2.

That being said, I haven't touched it on OG switch since, but was curious since I still own the game from all those years ago, how it would run on my regular ACNH edition switch.

I want to see if its as bad as everyone says it is, since getting my switch 2 last year and solely playing on it, my game has crashed only a few times ( I do long playing sessions so that's probs why )

I attempted to see my old save last night only to find it was deleted 😀. But! Nonetheless, I wanna try it again.

Wish me luck 🫡 i shall let you guys know my findings. Oh also, this is strictly base game, no DLC's at the moment.

Someone had suggested i make ancient vacuums and gardeners for SBV. I made one of each ( didn't have enough material ) and figured as I moved throughout i would move them with.

But I tried it in EI first, for like the first time.........why does it cost mist to collect? My stepdad yesterday was asking me if I had made the ancient gardener and I said yes but it costs ( because the vacuum cost so I assumed it did too ) and he said " No it doesn't " and showed me his ancient gardener he has out for a patch of his pumpkins.

So, why does it cost to collect from the vacuum but not the gardener Is there anyway for me to not HAVE to pay mist for my items :(?

Let me explain. I bought the game at launch for switch, and wasn't a fan so I stopped playing. A friend ( although we aren't actually friends anymore ) asked if I would reset and play it with her. So I gave it another chance and genuinely fell in love with it.

I go through gaming phases, I'll hyperfixate on a game for awhile, and not pick it up for even longer. When I go back to it most times I forget the controls 🙃.

SO! It happened, I had made it to Kiki and Lala's area, had my friendships pretty high with everyone, and then.....I reset my save, because i forgot the controls and didn't wanna be bothered to relearn them. My sister and I both reset our saves.

December, I really picked it back up again, I had bought WW for myself and did so for my sister as well. I restarted AGAIN and went hard at things.

I got mad, like two months ago 🥹 I spent all my resources set aside for Ponchacco, on the entirely wrong thing. I didn't touch it for a while. Then I finally went back and started doing quests and got to the point of unlocking Kiki and Lala.

I wanted to progress further because I still haven't touched much of WW, but started to get overwhelmed with all my quests and then the launch of City Town.

I was actually excited to play CT, until I saw someone say that on Steam, it literally says AI translation. I loathe anything with AI so I decided to really take a step back. THEN, the price 😭!? I was expecting it to be the same price as WW and was utterly shocked it wasn't. It was a hard pass for me.

So now, I just don't really want to touch my game :(.
