Taurine alternatives or Taurine-free energy drinks/blends?

So, I really loved energy drinks growing up. I never touched coffee until I was 22 and outside of Coca Cola, NOS and Monster were my access to higher levels of Caffeine. I would drink it while I worked and felt really good. I wasn't aware at the time how big of an effect Taurine had on preventing the jitters and anxiety associated with Caffeine. As I got older, I came across the MicroCenter exclusive Super Meat Boy GFuel which I thought tasted delicious. When I would go to the bagel shop/deli, I'd score a Monster and be vibing all day.

Around this time, I tried coffee for the first time. I enjoyed it but it made me very anxious. I did some research as to why, and found that the difference was the Taurine. So, I bought some Taurine capsules and started taking a gram of it (a single capsule) with my coffee. It felt great.

Then, one day, I foolishly decided to take 2 or 3 grams of Taurine in one day, which isn't considered crazy by the standards of the supplements subreddit. I found that 8-12 hours later, I would get a really uncomfortable level of heart palpitations. I thought "Hey maybe it the Caffeine" so I avoided Caffeine for a while. I found that the Taurine helped with just regular everyday anxiety previously, so one day I decided to take a single capsules just to help with that. And then, on a day where I consumed ZERO caffeine, on that night, I got the Tachycardia again. I thought "maybe this is a bunk batch of Taurine" so I avoided both Caffeine and the capsules for a while. Then, a few weeks later, I tried a regular can of Monster, and AGAIN my heart was acting up that night.

Since then, I've consumed TONS of medium-roast coffee and NEVER get the palpitations. Then, a year since consuming Taurine, I tried a Monster again. Same damn problem. Somehow, I unmasked a genetic predisposition to not handling Taurine like others do after I took a lot one day. I looked into it, and it seems that after enjoying the dip in blood pressure from the Taurine, as I level out, it spikes after it wears off and that's what I'm feeling at night.

I continue to be a big fan of Caffeine, I just get a bit of anxiety with it and can't consume Energy Blends anymore.

Are there any Energy Drinks that DON'T have Taurine in them? For fun, I googled it and found only really obscure brands that I don't associate a reputation with.

Also, are there any supplements/nootropics that have a similar calming effect that opposes Caffeine like Taurine has? I enjoy magnesium glycinate for going to sleep and for muscle soreness, and I enjoy Ashwagandha for anxiety sometimes. L-Theanine helps but it has a smoking-cessation effect that neutralizes the effects of Nicotine which is a quality-of-life issue for me as I enjoy consuming Nicotine.

I would just keep drinking coffee, but the sugary creaminess makes me rather nauseated after a while and I find black coffee unnapetizing.

I'm hesitant to try Caffeine capsules or pills (unless I got really low-dose ones) because I don't want it to hit me too quickly to where I get too anxious, or too slowly to where I'm still stimulated once I'm trying to go to sleep.

If you say "bro the Caffeine is what made you feel weird", please read the whole post 🙏 I've done quite of bit of control/experimental testing and I am very resilient to stimulants, Taurine just makes me feel weird these days.

I am prescribed Vyvanse, for context, but I try to avoid taking it EVERY day as to keep my CNS Stimulant tolerance lower, so I fill in the gaps with Caffeine to help with my intense ADHD.

I promise I won't bust it this time!

I got an M75 Pro for Christmas last year and I loved it but I let the throttle go when a prop was obstructed and I think I blew the ESC. Luckily, these things are relatively more affordable than they used to be. This is Take Two.

I find that I REALLY have to make the throttle response have a strong level of Expo and Mid flattening to handle it okay. I'm using a TX16S and while it feels high quality generally, I feel like there's a lot of plastic-on-plastic going on and my throttle sorta juts up too high or down too low.

How common is this kinda throttle tuning for both pros and newbies? Are there people who can just go stock? It feels impossible.

I'm mainly using Angle mode, though I've been practicing Acro on a free FPV game on my Steamdeck and I'm slowly getting better.

Can a bump or hair make an ESC fail?

I got a Meteor75 last Christmas. It worked perfectly until a few days later when it didn't. One motor would either not spin at all or just jut back and forth. I swapped the motors and it was the same issue in the same quadrant, so I imagine that the ESC is the issue.

I blamed myself for not handling the drone better and since they're a lot more affordable than they used to be and I'm not quite that good at soldering, I just ordered a new one and it works perfectly.

However, I don't want to cause the same issue again. These whoops seem like they can take a bit of a beating, but is it possible that if a rotor/motor gets stuck in position with throttle being sent, can the electricity damage the corresponding ESC? What about if hair gets in the motor? I have two dogs and they are hypoallergenic but they still shed like I imagine any dog and sometimes I find hair on the drone despite avoiding the floors or any place the dogs are.

I don't know how to exactly search for this as a pre-existing thread and I don't trust asking AI about something that involves me potentially wasting money.

Thanks for reading

Upgraded my PC for MORE MIDI

Installed a 7 port USB pcie card and then made a patch panel for 7 USB extensions to bring em closer. Now I clan plug in everything without needing to move em. :D some of these dont play well with hubs so that wasnt an option. needed dedicated ports.

My new Rap album made entirely of m8 beats

This is my second and latest rap album made entirely of m8 beats like pretty much all of my releases. The best way I could describe it sonically is a disturbing lovechild of Prefuse 73 and Captain Murphy.

The lyricism orbits my experiences living with schizophrenia, substance use, amnesia, DPDR, and coping with the ever-evolving surveillance state of the modern world.

The beats are very eerie with a strong focus on odd vocal samples and unnerving melodies and editing.

I'm not sure if I've topped my 5 best rap tracks I compiled in my mixtape, but I think the average quality of the song structures and cohesiveness is far better than that of my first rap album.

Linked is my bandcamp but you can find me on streaming services under "Gluonced" or just go to gluonced.xyz for quick links to each platform. It will take a day or two for the release to hit the other main streaming services besides bandcamp.
