Are they really that PROBLEMATIC that she made a song to call out them?

Are they really that PROBLEMATIC that she made a song to call out them?

Was it really true that TS's fans were so controlling to her own personal decisions in life? Parang ang unhinged lang if totoo man.

May mga senador na B*bo talaga no? (Cayetano's Brand of EMOTIONAL politics)

So I was watching the hearing kanina when Senator Risa Hontiveros made a statement na the senate seems to act like nothing threatining happened last week dahil wala paring nananagot or any huge changes in senate security.

Suddenly Sen Pia Cayetano made her own speech emotionally stating how traumatic the experience was and stating Senator Risa as insensitive kasi wala nga naman daw sya doon.

The funny thing is? Legarda and Villar consoled her haha.

DAHIL WALANG ABISO FROM ALAN.

Ow, are we forgetting na nagtatawanan na kayo that same night with Remulla? Trauma yorn?

AND PLEASE NAKAKALIMUTAN ATA NI SEN CAYETANO:

Kung protection and welfare ang usapan, Senator Risa Hontiveros made bold actions when she crackdown rapist cult leaders like Senyor Agila and Quiboloy (funny how Pia sides with DDS now lol).

Bawal Bastos Law was Sen Risa's bill.

Banning Childhood Marriage is Sen Risa bill

Alice Guo and the illegal POGO syndicates were exposed dahil sa report kay Sen Risa ng human trafficking and abuse.

---

Cayetano's are public servants for their convenience.

"God wanted me to be the senate president kaya andito ako ngayon"

Ladies and Gentlemen, don't be fooled by drama and antics, let the outputs and their work speak for themselves as senators.

if HBO has Young Sheldon, Netflix should have young Scully and Hitchcock (B99)

Brooklyn 99 just feels they can bring more with Michael Schur's writing and humor.

80s style comedy action police-sitcom? I'm down for it!

P.S. I can still remember how shocked I am with this opening scene loll

Sweetest puspin I adopted: Leni (free masahe)

We never planned to adopt cats but pumasok yung isang white cat sa amin and nagsunud-sunod na. Leni is the 4th cat and she’s still young hehe.

She would always greet me, tatabi sakin habang nanonood ng tv and would give me massages na parang alam nyang need na need ko mag-distress from work.

Gusto niya palagi nakaharap sakin pag tumatabi sya.

Can we remind Cayetano why BAM AQUINO was 2nd from the senatorial elections?

Removing Bam from his chairmanships especially sa basic education means DDS senators or the majority bloc IS FORGETTING SOMETHING,

Bam Aquino got endorsement from INC and even gained supporters from DDS voters dahil gusto nila yung advocacy niya sa basic education.

Removing him from that posts just means THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING THEIR SUPPORTERS.

With Bam's achievement in just a year holding the committee on basic education? It's not about him being in the minority or majority. THE PEOPLE HAD SPOKEN BEYOND THEIR POLITICS na ilagay si Bam as the senator for education legislations.

It's not about glazing endorsement sa religion orgs but a statement that both opposition or not kay Bam, they all supported him to be the senator for education advocacies.

IF IT TAKES EDSA FOR THEM TO BE REMINDED THEN I AM FOR IT.

I just can't let the students suffer anymore.

they can have their politics, lamunin nila pero yung progressive developments sa education, ibigay na nila sa tao to. PUT BAM AQUINO BACK AS THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITEE ON BASIC EDUCATION!

THE DIOKNOs: Father & Son's tale across two EDSA Revolutions

Kung may ipapamana sayo magulang mo what would it be? For the rich, they have their assets, for most of us, it's education. But for the Dioknos, it's standing for human rights.

The Philippines had it's two people power movement, the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution and the 2001 EDSA Dos People Power Revolution.

In both EDSA revolutions, there was a Diokno who became one of the key figures.

Ka Pepe and the first EDSA Revolution:

Ka Pepe graduated with a bachelor's degree in commerce BUT he became a CPA top-notcher and a Bar exam top-notcher as well.

When the first Martial Law started, victims were blinded on where they can find justice from the human rights violations until Ka Pepe was released from being imprisoned without formal charges. Diokno was already a high figure criticizing the Marcos regime's corruption activities.

When he was released, he dedicated his work to defending political prisoners, documenting human rights abuses, and providing legal support to victims of state repression through organizations like the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG), which he helped found to ensure detainees had access to counsel despite the climate of fear.

During the years leading up to the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, he suffered from cancer but became a moral and legal pillar of the anti-dictatorship movement, articulating constitutional arguments against Marcos’ rule and helping unify opposition voices around human rights and rule of law.

Chel Diokno and EDSA Dos:

Chel also had a bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy and graduated law in Northern Illinois University as magna-cumlaude.

During EDSA Dos (EDSA II) in January 2001, Chel Diokno was part of the legal and civic movement that helped push for the ouster of President Joseph Estrada by working within the impeachment process and the broader public accountability campaign.

Mid 30s lang sya noon but he supported the prosecution team during Estrada’s impeachment trial in the Senate, helping frame legal arguments around corruption evidence and the controversial “second envelope” issue that triggered the walkout of prosecutors and intensified public outrage (picture above is a clip when they walked-out from the senate impeachment hearing).

When the trial collapsed sa senado, Diokno and other reform-minded lawyers helped translate the legal breakdown into a constitutional crisis argument, basically the justice system had failed to properly adjudicate the case. This strengthen the legal justification for mass public action in EDSA.

---

The Philippines is in a bad political and economic shape right now, Chel is in his mid 60s na, I hope kung magkakaroon ng pangatlong EDSA revolution, sana may isang Diokno parin na hahaligi para maging LEGAL ang galit natin sa gobyerno.

They may have literally crooked teeth as their enemy will say, but their political standpoint along the years is straight and firm. All for human rights.

When a journalists endangered other journalists . . .

Freedom of the press, Faithful to the truth, Braveness with integrity.

They gambled to bring Bato to the senate for an additional vote to oust Sotto.

It's getting clear along the way.

Weekend reports stated that DDS camp lacked the vote count to oust Tito Sen. Bato is also on ICC's website na. The house is already done with their articles of impeachment.

Time is the ultimate game.

DDS camp needed Bato's presence to secure a majority bloc-vote to oust Tito Sen.

When Cayetano announced in the senate na may majority vote na sila, nabanggit niya na they had multiple meetings before that.

The deal gamble is, a TRO from SC must be issued on that day or the next day of the ousting para hindi maaresto si Bato.

But no TRO was issued yet. They need to have an escape plan for Bato.

Now Marcoleta asked the session to allow the senate to work remotely.

First reports stated that it was Robin who initiated the OSAA to prepare long arms. Then naging tactical gear na.

After that, the shootout happened. The senate was under "attacked".

Around 2:30am, Bato escaped with Robin allegedly as the driver of the van.

Bato is now a fugitive. His wife thanked the senators in a message.

But Cayetano's statement earlier was it was not an escape dahil walang warrant. He is not against Bato escaping the Senate.

The pieces fit together that what really transpired was it was an escape route for Bato as they gambled to bring him sa senado to control the whole senate through ousting Tito Sen.

Why may shootout? To make the narrative na Bato is martyr to escape because he brought danger sa senate if doon siya titira.

Don't believe in Cayetano's legal jargon antics and rhetorics to control the narrative.

On the same day of the shootout, the articles of impeachment arrived. 16 votes are needed sa impeachment but them controlling the senate can give them the power to question the legality of the case and evidences like EDSA dos na 11 votes lang pinaglabanan.

Of course you know why they want to control the senate.

Journalism is something you do, not something you call for yourself

You can see na nilalabanan ng mga journalist yung defense mechanism ng katawan nila tumakbo, pinilit nila humarap sa putukan at magcover, all while having the thought na baka mamatay sila.

What I really admired from the raw footages is nagtutulungan sila kahit di magkanetwork.

After ng putukan?

Fck the mainstream media ba kamo PGMN, James Deakin? CJ Hirro? Gawin niyo muna 'to tangna niyo.

The Downfall of LOREN LEGARDA | From Darling of the Senate to a Clown of Her Own Greed

Sa isang impeachment hearing noon, Loren Legarda was captured crying together with her co-senators.

That moment alone cemented Legarda's moral aptitude as a senator, during the early 2000s isa sya sa mga batang senador na unstoppable, matalino and kahanga-hanga. She was the darling of the senate sa sobrang tapang niya tumayo for what is right for the Filipino people.

During her years as a journalist, she was the Karen Davila before on how straightforward to ask questions.

For me na millennial, isa sya sa mga hinahangaan ko noon sa senado nung bata ako.

But now, look at her.

It's the pinnacle of her greedy tactics along the years.

She used her power to control the academic honors of her son. She used her political status to secure deals for her son's solar company.

She ran under the slate of the man who came from a corrupt family, and now that she is ripping the karma of going against her morals before . .

She went full out by being on the side of possibly the worst political color of Philippine history.

Imagine sacrificing your morality, your intelligence, your career, your dignity . .

all for just politics.

If you will watch the footage after that impeachment hearing, she answered why she was crying and why she stood against Erap. But recently nung tinanong siya why she joined the DDS camp, she just answered:

"I have a lot of things to do sa 6th floor"

The man behind ABOUT YOU's dreamy surreal emotional sound . . .

Aside from the vocal reverb that Jack Antonoff suggested to Matty's voice in About You, what made the song distinct from the whole BFIAFL album is how dreamy and surreal it feels. I've listened to the song for almost a thousand times, the violin string sound at the back as well as the surreal gritty sound makes always feel dreamy to me like I am longing for something.

According to the band, they really wanted to capture that longing feeling and since string instruments was their main thing in the album, they resonated with Warren Ellis, an old man with a long experience in this type of vibe. Basically, his direction how to make it dreamy and his violin parts in the song really adds that surreal sound that made the song unique from the whole album.

The reverb and dreamy arrangement by Jack and Matty makes it feel like a memory, but Warren's inputs made that memory into a longing feeling of missing someone.

Who's the Artist You Would Want The 1975 to Collab with?

I would love The 1975 to have a collab with Mk.Gee and Dijon. For me it's a deadly combo if these 3 would make a song together.

Bon Iver will be good as well!

THE COST OF TOO MUCH POLITICS | Critical bills are now in jeopardy

More than the anger of the circus in the Senate yesterday, mas nagaalala at iniisip ko ngayon yung mga batas na sinusulong na malaki ang epekto para guminhawa tayong mga Pilipino.

Bam and Kiko is the chairman of some of the critical committees sa senado na humahawak sa issue ng mga magsasaka at estudyante.

  • Kiko: Agriculture, Food, and Agrarian Reform Committee
  • Kiko: Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes Committee
  • Kiko: Justice and Human Rights Committee
  • Bam: Science and Technology Committee
  • Bam: Basic Education Committee
  • Bam: EDCOM II (Second Congressional Commission on Education) Committee

Why I Love Artists Who Produces their Own Songs . . .

I think it's only me pero there is a different atmosphere, vibe or even quality sa kanta ng mga artists kapag sila mismo nag-compose and produce ng song nila.

I started listening to these artists sa picture when they were in their indie years. There is something with their songs na hindi tunog commercialized and unapologetic sa sound like it's their DNA na nasa kanta nila.

And when you watch their clips in YT how they produced their songs? It's so mind blowing and you'll appreciate their song more.

They understand complex emotions and can accurately transform it to a song.

This is one of the reasons why I am always hooked by indie artists even up today, I love discovering indie artists who always did everything by their own from scratch starting with composition up until production.

Who is your favorite artists na producer din?
