I got banned from r/writing for 30 days, is that a good thing?

All I said was that I was going to make my male lead 5’4” and that it would be an awesome book since he’d be the same height as Michael J. Fox. They don’t like short kings over there I guess

Found this 1973 Jeep Commando for sale locally. Is this worth looking into?

there’s no price information on it, but I can call in and see.

I reaaally want it but I just got my first job and don’t know how to drive stick shift 😅 so I think it’d probably be an unwise financial decision. It’s a super cool car though.

My budget would be around 10-15k

What would something like this be worth if the work was done properly? What should I look for if I go inspect it? And are there any particular red flags with a Commando this old? My parents own a 2017 Rubicon and it’s a piece of crap, but it seems like the owners have done a lot of work on this car.

About a month post-op, knee feels almost unstable

Hi! I’m 17, female, and I’ve posted here a couple times before. Almost a year ago, I received a meniscus repair surgery, which healed well, and then tore my acl afterwards and got the surgery for that a month ago.

When I tore my acl, I didn’t even realize I’d torn anything except for the fact that my knee had begun to feel unstable again (like it had after the initial meniscus tear). It would always “slip” if I moved it wrong, and my other knee wouldn’t do that—that’s how I knew something was wrong.

My knee isn’t slipping like that, but I’ve noticed that when I try and move around without my brace (which I have to do sometimes, like after my shower when my leg is damp—I always use crutches), sometimes it seems to wiggle a bit under the kneecap. I don’t notice this happening with my other knee.

Is this anything to worry about? It could be that I’m just trying to move too fast. It happens sometimes when I’m walking with my brace on too. I’m going to bring it up with my PT next session but I wanted to see what you guys have to say

Also, I did not get the replacement ACL ligament from my own knee—I think it’s called an allograft? But it’s the one where it will continue to get weaker until the three month mark, and then get stronger after that. So it’s possible it could just be getting weaker, like it should, and I’m overreacting 😅

so I apparently have flat feet…I need slip on shoes with arch support

I have a pretty pronounced arch but it collapses when I’m standing, which causes pain in my knees 😭 and that’s why I didn’t know I had flat feet until now.

I’ve been wearing crocs which have NO arch support. Otherwise I’ve been wearing new balance sneakers, which I’ve heard are good.

I need some shoes that are easy and fast to put on while still giving me arch support. Any suggestions?

(TW: a little blood, I’m sorry) It’s okay that this thing is still on here after two weeks, right?

I’m two weeks post op and I haven’t been picking at it or anything, but I’ve been allowing it to get wet in the shower and stuff. Will I need to peel it off at some point? Can it get infected?

Also, I hope this is the right sub for this—please redirect me if there’s another one!
