Tell us why you hate Gemini in Android Auto? Who's with me?
That’s it, I’m fed up with Gemini
Since Gemini can’t read saved locations from Google Maps or addresses from Google Contacts, I trained it to navigate to a specific location whenever I say “my house.” It worked perfectly on my phone (see the screenshot).
Want to know what happened when I tried it on Android Auto?

Tired of Boat and Noise neckbands failing within a year. Need durable neckband recommendations for calls.
Hey guys, I bought around 6 neckbands for me and my brother over the last 2 years. I’ve tried both Boat and Noise, but none of them lasted even a year. The most common issues were one side stopping working and power button problems.
So now I need some help choosing a good headset. Which brand or model should I buy that actually lasts long and has good audio quality?
I mainly use neckbands for calls, so call quality and durability are my priority.
If you know any good products in this price range, please share your suggestions.
Gemini on Android Auto is a downgrade, can I use Google Assistant only in the car?
Finally got the Gemini update on my Android Auto and honestly, I hate it.
It can’t read my saved or labeled locations in Google Maps, and it also fails to recognize addresses saved under contacts. Voice recognition feels noticeably worse compared to Google Assistant on Android Auto too.
I wanted to switch back to Google Assistant, but apparently if Gemini is enabled on the phone, Android Auto forces Gemini as well.
Is there any way to use Gemini on the phone while keeping Google Assistant only for Android Auto? Or are we stuck with one assistant for both right now?
I’ve been waiting months for the Gemini update on Android Auto, expecting it to fix the issues I had with Google Assistant. Instead, it’s actually worse.
Gemini can’t access my saved or labeled places in Google Maps while using Android Auto, and it also fails to recognize contact addresses.
I’ve tried everything I could think of, but nothing seems to fix it.
Is anyone else facing this? Any workaround or solution?
