Lego Batman: legacy of the dark knight?

I love Batman Arkham, I like SOME Lego games like skywalker saga and Lego city undercover. I heard this new game mixes up the combat. Looks like it draws a lot from the Arkham games’ mechanics more than the Lego games

$70 for a Lego game is a LOT, but I can make it work if it has lots of hours of gameplay and it’s good

MAJOR change from the original (post-game spoilers)

Finally got around to beating this game. Love the game, but hard af, tho easier than the original

>! I remember right, in the og games, you had to beat mewtwo to trigger the gengar mission. In DX , you have to complete the medicham mission to trigger it

Tbh, it makes a lot more sense, tying their 2 stories together like this. And I’m really glad cuz I was NOT looking forward to finishing all those high-level dungeons !<

FINALLY beat owl father!

Stupid question, but I’m curious, why didn’t he use any of these fancy moves in Ashina castle? Was he holding back?

This fight is hard af, but I found a reliable strategy that works in both phases. Focus on parrying and jumping until he either raises his sword above his head or jumps at you. When he does this, he’s about to do a massive attack. Instead of parrying the attack, I-frame out of the way to the left or right and hit him with mortal draw. The jump attack is ez to time, but the land-based one is tricky. If you move around him too soon, he’ll turn the downward slash into a spin attack. You can parry it, but you’ll lose the chance to mortal draw. There’s a delay between when he raises the sword and when he swings it. You have to dodge left or right as he swings the sword down so he’ll commit to the attack, then mortal draw. It’s possible to hit with mortal draw and interrupt this attack instead of using it after, but you’ll take a lot of damage if you don’t pull it off. Use mortal draw as he raises his sword to interrupt him

Fuck this boss srsly :( and dont anyone make It weird by saying you know what

Anyone know a good melee and/or healing vestige?

That was a helluva final boss :D

Kinda wish it was harder tho. That fight with >!Eight!< was hard af, whereas this monstrosity was just a bunch of QTEs. Cinematically it’s pretty cool tho

Sorry about the bad edit. There is a bit at the very end, the last 5 seconds

This is not a game. This is a graphic novel adaptation of the game Cult of the Lamb. It’s dark like the game is, but not nearly as much. Lamb is much less psychotic and cares a lot about the cultists. It’s a unique take on the story and world

Volume 2, The Last Sacrament, is a direct sequel. It’s not out yet, but some of the comics in it can be bought separately
