Anyone else having issues with bark having insanely high battery usage? It used nearly half of my battery when my phone wasn't in use - in my dads drawer during the night.

Hello. 16m here. I recently bought a phone myself with money I got from working my OWN JOB, and now my parents want to put controls on it. I said that if I was paying the service and the phone why should they be able to put controls on it and they said "You are our child, you have no rights. If you don't let us, I will take your phone and smash it with a hammer". Im currently fighting right now to atleast get some service on it but my dad doesn't see why I need it (not even data just literally a phone number). I don't really care about them installing bark, its more about their ridiculous restrictions, they are going to physically take it at 8pm and not give it back to me until when they decide to the next day.... I don't understand why this should be legal when I paid for it myself.... They didn't do this to all my siblings, they got theirs when they were 12, 13, 12, and 14 years old... Why do they treat me so differently.

I recently picked up a pixel 8 pro for cheap off ebay and have had a great experience so far. The only thing is, the battery life. I want to replace to battery and I want to know, is the battery / battery kit from iFixIt worth it, or can I go with a cheaper option? My battery is currently at 902 cycles

I'm currently on a RTX 3060 Ti FE 8GB and a 5600x. I'm looking to either buy a PowerColor 9060 XT Reaper 16GB ($439.99), sell my 3060 Ti FE (~$200) and use that (and a bit of other money) to upgrade to the 7500X3D (Microcenter Bundle) ($399.99).

I'm currently running into issues with VRAM Usage and occasional issues with NVidia X Wayland (yes I'm running linux) and I currently play at 1440p. The reason I want to upgrade my CPU, Mobo and Ram is since I'm currently using my computer to run home lab stuff too (media servers, docker containers etc) and its using a lot of my resources. I live close to a microcenter so I'm planning on getting my GPU & CPU, Mobo, and ram combo from them.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do in my situation?

I keep having issues whenever I try to print PETG, the first few layers (more like 10 minutes) will be fine but after that the nozzle doesn't get any more PETG . When I check I see that the petg gets melted inside the bowden tube to the point where I have to cut if off. It happens a bit above the point where the bowden tube enters the nozzle. This has happened with both some generic amazon petg and with Inland's PETG. I'm using a Triangle Labs Swiss CR10 hotend using Capicorn Bowden Tubing. This also happens at a wide range of temperatures, from as low as 210c to 230c.

Has anyone seen this problem or know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm running Minecraft 1.26.2 using Java 25. Whenver I close the game by either closing the window or clicking "exit game" the window / rendering engine closes but the java process remains running.

I swear I never thought I would need to make a post like this but here we are. How do I properly shave that area, I mean I can handle the front easily (because I can actually see it and stuff), but the back is another monster entirely. Like I cant see back there so I have no idea what im doing and im using my (electric) razor in the dark/ without being able to see.

Is there any tool that will let me share an apps userdata between profiles / actively sync it? I'm looking to use Google Messages (need RCS) but switching profiles (registering RCS over and over and texts not syncing betwen profiles) might mess things up.

The author just finished the series (in this case love bites) and now they made all of the episodes require the app? I was close to finishing this series (had 1 or 2 episodes left) and now all of the episodes are gone. Why would an author do this? Some people don't want the app.

I'm in a bit of a weird situation. I want a high refresh rate monitor but all of them seem to be either 27inch or a "external" tiny display. I like the high DPI that you can get from a display with this size and resolution, but I also want to be able to use my display for high refresh rate gaming. Does anyone know of a display that fulfills these requirements:

- 1440p

- High Refresh Rate (atleast 144 hz)

- Small-ish (21-24 inch but 23 is what I would prefer)

- Not overly expensive (under ~150 US)

- Available in the US (I live near a microcenter if that helps)

- Good panel (IPS is fine but it need to look somewhat good)

It seems like most monitors that fulfill these requirements are either only in the UK/EU or have horrible quality control.

Does anyone know of a display that fulfills these requirements and looks atleast somewhat good?
