filmfocusonline.comZach Braff was going to direct an episode of ‘Wonder Man’ Season 2 before it got canceled.
> #Zach Braff, Donald Faison almost joined the MCU
> But could Braff take his directing skills into the Star Wars franchise or Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)? > > While it's Donald Faison's hope, Braff revealed the opportunity was so close to happening before the Emmy-nominated series Wonder Man was cancelled after one season. > > "I have dreams of being in Star Wars and in Marvel. Those things might not ever happen, but my best friend is one of the best directors I've ever worked with in my life, and I keep trying to get him to direct Star Wars and Marvel, strictly so he would put me in Star Wars or Marvel, because I know if he directs it, it's going to be fire," Faison said. > > "Donald and I both shared a love of the show Wonder Man, and he's always wanted me to work with Marvel, and so I had a meeting with them, and I was like, 'I love your show. Please put me on the list for consideration to direct Season 2.' And they said, 'We love your work. Yes, consider yourself on the list.' And Donald and I were high-fiving." > > "And then about a week later, they said, 'You know that show that's very popular and just got Emmy nominations, we've cancelled it.' … That close!"
At least when Marvel have an upcoming projects in the future, their name is on the list.

hollywoodreporter.comJenny Slate Joins Dylan O’Brien In Hulu Comedy Pilot ‘Lex’
Jenny Slate (Dying for Sex) has been tapped as the female lead opposite Dylan O’Brien in the Hulu comedy pilot Lex.
Written by Sean Clements, the comedy centers on Lex (O’Brien), a disgraced former reality star who accidentally films a murder in the background of a $20 Cameo video, and finds himself at the center of a global conspiracy — and on the run from powerful forces who want him dead. Using the skills he acquired navigating reality TV’s toxic social dynamics, Lex must fight to not get killed, to expose the truth, and most importantly… to get back on TV.
Slate will play the only other series regular role in the pilot, Holly, the recently fired personal assistant of a murdered tech CEO, who gets sucked into a global conspiracy along with former reality star Lex (O’Brien). Using her organizational skills—and a knowledge of firearms she picked up somewhere along the way—she’ll help Lex try to clear his name. If it eliminates her as a suspect, too, great!
