Clothing sizes

I'm trying to figure out why these clothing manufacturers do not make enough small and medium sizes. One of the things that turns me off from shopping for clothes in person is it's hard to find smalls and mediums still left on the racks, meanwhile the larges and extra larges are plentiful. Anyone else experience this???

Glass stuck in garbage disposal

Accidentally turned the garbage disposal on when there was a shot glass down in it. I got the bigger chunks of glass out, but it appears the disposal is jammed up so I can't get it to break up any little leftover bits of glass. Do I need to be calling a plumber? My disposal has a reset button on it, which I pressed, and it didn't do anything. There is no manual crank.

*Update: Used a hex to manually crank and get rest of pieces chopped up. Pushed reset button. All good now! 😁

How are the thick Sealy Posturpedics on an adjustable base?

I'm thinking about getting the 15 inch Brenham II tight top. Does anyone know if this bed performs well on an adjustable base? I'm like 125ish lbs so I don't have too much weight I'm putting on it. I'm just wondering if it will fold into zero gravity properly. Unfortunately, the store I was going to has a broken base for their Brenham and no other stores nearby have that particular bed.

Salesmen bothering me

I'm having issues. I'm female and mattress shopping alone. My local Mattress Warehouse I have dealt with 2 different guys, both of which won't shut the f*ck up when I'm trying out mattresses. They just start asking me personal questions not even related to sleeping and just being bothersome and hovering. I don't know if they're trying to distract me or they're hitting on me in some way, but it's really annoying. How do I nicely tell the salesmen to stop talking to me and go away while I test out mattresses for twenty minutes at a time? I plan on making myself look super ugly when I go into the store today, so maybe the dude will get the ick. 🤣 This is the kind of crap us females have to deal with. Can't even buy a goddang mattress in peace.

How come mattresses in mattress stores are never on those top rated lists?

Stores like mattress firm and mattress warehouse rarely ever have mattresses mentioned on the internet. Most mattresses recommended on sites are ones that you can't even test out in person. Are these companies just paying these review websites just to get their names out there?

Side sleepers, what bed are you using?

Can you please let me know what bed you have and like? I bought a Sealy Posturpedic High Point 2 in soft back in January, but it kills my shoulders. It doesn't feel like my shoulders are even sinking into it, despite the softness level. It's making my shoulder pain ten times worse. If I sleep on my back, it feels like my back sinks into it too much. :( I can't get a sleep number, which I see highly recommended, because I have to choose something from the store that I got this bed from.

Tempur-Pedic Adapt Hybrid Medium or Posturpedic High Point II Medium?

Mattress Warehouse is allowing me to exchange a 2nd time! 😁 I have a Posturpedic High Point II in soft right now. It hurts my shoulders and I can't stay on my back longer than three hours. So I don't know if I should exchange this soft for the medium, or get the tempurpedic, which I layed on tonight, and it felt really comfortable. I'm 5ft3, 125 lbs. Thoughts?

Black specks under skin for several weeks...

What is the point in getting electrolysis if you can still see black specks right underneath the surface layer of skin? Do these ever go away?

Blurry eyes after warm compress?

I was just diagnosed with meibomian gland dysfunction. Eye dr says use a warm compress 10 mins a day everyday. So I'm posting here to ask if anyone else experiences extremely blurry eyes after doing a warm compress? Is this normal? Should I stop doing a compress?

What mattress store allows you to return and get a refund?

Looking for a new mattress that is not memory foam or latex that supports back and side sleeping. I think I need something zoned with innerspring? Anyone have recommendations of what I can get or where I can get a generous refund policy? 🫤 I'm 5'3, 125 lbs with broad ass shoulders lol. I'm in the eastern US.

Can't be on HRT... What can I take for joint pain?

I have an intolerance to progesterone. It was helping my joint pain, but I can't take it anymore. What else can I take for joint pain? I see collagen and turmeric thrown around, can anyone recommend specific brands that I can look into?

Perimenopause causing joint pain...supp recs???

Hi all. I've been in perimenopause for over a year now with horrible joint pain. Hormone replacement therapy helped the pain, but sadly I can no longer tolerate progesterone and so had to stop it. I'm wondering if there are any supplements that can help me? I've tried magnesium glycinate and citrate, but I didn't see any difference.

Side sleeping pain

How do you know if your mattress is bad for you or if you just need to find the right pillow?

I have a soft posturpedic memory foam mattress(feels like medium though). It's fine for back sleeping but horrible for side sleeping(kills my shoulders). I bought a three inch soft latex topper. It's fine for my shoulders, but horrible for my hips and back when side sleeping and back sleeping.

Does it sound like I just need to get the right pillow? I have broad shoulders which doesn't help the situation.

Estradiol gel causing severe insomnia

I started .1% estradiol gel like 2 weeks ago at night and my sleep has progressively gotten worse. Anyone else experience this? I also can't seem to stop eating which is causing weight gain already. I was naturally thin, but I can see myself thickening up already!

Stocks for dummies. Dummies is me. Lol

Hi all. I'm not really familiar with stocks. I have a traditional IRA that I have not contributed to for a few years now because I've been contributing to my employers retirement fund. My IRA has money in Vanguard and a few other companies. I pretty much just set it up so I could forget about it for a while. But anyways, I have buying power of almost $1K and I honestly don't know what that means. Is that money I've earned/is it mine to reinvest?

Peptides but don't need to lose weight?

I see people recommend peptides, but I'm only 120lbs and quite frankly, I should be eating more. I need to increase my protein intake and as it is right now, having a hard time even eating enough to do that. So, does this mean I would not be a good candidate for peptides? I feel like from all I have read is that they reduce appetite for weight loss.

I don't know what to do. 68K miles and needs rear differential replaced. 😭

My 2019 CX9 with 68K is becoming a money pit. I spent $600 repairing a front control arm, I need to spend another $600 repairing an axel seal. Now I need a new rear differential which will cost me $5500 at the local auto shop(dealership quoted me $6200). The vehicle is paid off. I'm scared that it's going to keep having shit break on it. I see a lot of people with other problems that mine hasn't had yet which I'm sure it's going to have soon enough because it seems this thing was made shitty. I don't know if I should buy something else or should I keep spending money on this money pit? What would you all do?
