That movie was supposed to bring the franchise back from the brink, not fall down even further. I blame either the COVID-19 pandemic from derailing filming and schedules, or the writers’ strikes from preventing promotion or marketing.

Did Sypha pass away during the events of Curse of Darkness? We just found that out in her bio in Belmont's Curse, but considering Trevor showed up in Curse of Darkness and Sypha did not...

I kinda want to see that movie, since Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe are both good actors, but I doubt it will release in September. The poster and trailer says "ONLY IN THEATERS THIS FALL". I assume it's going to be either October or November. September 18th isn't even anywhere close to Fall. Besides, it doesn't help the fact that September is already a super packed month, and there's also the Resident Evil movie releasing the same weekend. Who'd want to see a prison drama set during the Great Depression? And what kind of movie poster and trailer would not even announce a release date? I'm calling it now, the September 18th release date is just a placeholder.

What happened to its villain Colonel Idris Sadick? Did he perish in the air strike at the end? Because I remember the guy who made an article of him on the Villains Wiki said his fate was unknown, that he either fled the final battle or perished off-screen in the air strike. But on TV Tropes, someone outright said he did. Either way, the air strike happened so fast I couldn't tell what happened to the silent bastard.

It’s not enough that September is super-packed this year, but the former is going up against How to Rob a Bank while the latter is going up against Resident Evil. Give these movies a chance to breathe.
