Really happy with how our game (Null & Void) triggers are progressing. It feels much more satisfying to have abilities combo off and keep the chain going now.
Try the steam playtest and Let me know what you think!
I have been posting clips, memes and small gameplay trailers for a game I am making on TikTok but it seems all my videos are getting 0 views.
I tried using the promote feature on some of my video but was denied with it saying my videos are not suitable for the FYP.
I have tried contacting support multiple times asking what is wrong with my account or videos but they just never answer.
I am not sure what to do my account must be flagged or something as my videos get shown to 0 people no matter what I upload.
Any ideas?
I am a software engineer who has always wanted to learn how to develop and make games but I had one issue. I didn't have an idea.
After playing 9 kings shortly after it's release I sprouted the idea for my game, it has a few aspects inspired directly from 9 kings as well as Balatro. Mainly the auto battling from 9 Kings.
It started with a simple concept of building a space fleet to battle against enemy space fleets, while enhancing your fleets with Planets and moons.
I have been developing this game for around 12 months so far and have opened a playtest. With my game being of a very similar genre I would love to know get some thoughts and feedback from die hard 9 Kings fans to see where I'm hitting the mark and where I am falling short.
Keep in mind the game is pretty early in development and is a little unbalanced right now as well as some additional features still in development.
If you read this far thanks for hearing my story and if you love 9 Kings check out my game it would mean a lot to me!

Previously had some feedback on the UI of my game so I reworked most things to fit a more consistent theme and am looking for some thoughts, ideas and suggestions on how I could improve it further.

I have mainly focused on colour palette improvement and trying to refine the look / theme I’m going for rather than the layout for now. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am getting to the point in my develpoment where I need to uplift my UI, SFX and music rather than just coding in more features.
I am about a year into development and am struggling to find resources for SFX and music mainly that are free to use or packages that are very cheap to use for my project.
Would love some feedback on my UI/UX as well as that is at a point where I am quite happy with it.
This is a very early alpha of my game that I have been working on for almost a year now.
I started my journey learning unity with this game / idea and have learned so much and the concept has evolved and changed so much in the process.
I am looking for feedback on the gameplay loop and how it feels to play, it is most likely very unbalanced and a bit simple at the moment but I have plans to add more complexity / designs to runs!

I started developing Null & Void almost a year ago to help me learn Unity and get into game development. Today I just uploaded it to Itch to help me get feedback from people.
You build your fleet with ships and stations to take on enemy fleets in waves to traverse through different star systems. Collect planets and moons that combine into powerful systems providing buffs to your fleet. augments also allow you to power up specific units and specialize them to either deal damage, tank or heal.
My current goals are to further develop and polish it and set up a steam demo for an eventual steam release.
I would love some feedback if people want to check it out!
