I bought some new Superman comics today. What’s everyone’s thoughts on these storylines?
What are some of your favorite performances from Edward Norton and Denis Leary? Oh, Edward turns 57 years old today and Denis turns 69 years old today.
For Edward, it’s The Narrator in Fight Club and for Denis, Captain George Stacy in TASM 1
Remembering Robert Redford on what could’ve been his 90th birthday. What are some of your favorite movies he’s been in?
Mine are All The President’s Men, Spy Game, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Happy 69th birthday to Carole Bouquet who played Melina Havelock in FYEO
youtu.beHappy 83rd birthday to Robert DeNiro. What are some of your favorite movies he’s been in?
Mine are Taxi Driver, Casino, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Limitless, Heat, and The Godfather Part II.
I made Old man Bruce meeting Dick in Batman Beyond!
I was imagining a scene where Bruce was meeting Dick in Batman Beyond and made this! The design for Dick was supposed to the have the eyepatch, but I kinda don't like that, so I didn't put the eyepatch. Anyway, enjoy my rendition of them!
Happy 68th birthday to Angela Basset who plays Erika Sloane in Mission Impossible Fallout and The Final Reckoning
youtu.beHappy 54th birthday to Ben Affleck. He was a great Batman and I would’ve loved to see his solo movie🦇🦇🦇
in honor of Halle Berry’s 60th birthday, what are some of your favorite performances from her?
I’ll start. Jinx in Die Another Day, Storm in the OG X Men movies, and Sofia in John Wick 3
Remembering James Horner on what could’ve been his 73rd birthday. He worked on the score for The Amazing Spider-Man 1.
The legendary Sir Alfred Hitchcock was born on this day in 1899. What’s your favorite movie he made?
Mine are North by Northwest and Notorious since I’m a massive fan of espionage thrillers.
James Bond villains
Cillian Murphy, Saoirse Ronan, Ewan Mitchell, & Robert Pattinson
On this day 62 years ago, Ian Fleming passed away. If it wasn’t for him, we would never exist as a fandom.
Happy 69th birthday to Isaac De Bankole who played Steven Obanno in Casino Royale. He was born on August 12th, 1957.
My favorite lines from Obanno are “You think you can lose that kind of money and no one would notice?!” And “Not a word of protest, you should find a new boyfriend”
Happy heavenly birthday to Robert Shaw aka Red Grant
He was born on August 9th, 1927. He died on August 28th, 1978
Admiral Chuck Farrell stars in…On Her Majesty’s Secret Pleasure with Xienna Onatopp as his main love interest!! This is for satire 🤣🤣
I got inspired by this post to make it: https://www.reddit.com/r/JamesBond/s/j8bxcBTq1G
I’ll definitely use Admiral Chuck Farrell as a punching bag for future edits!!!
How I will approach fading. What do you guys think of my plan?
So far, I haven’t landed jobs yet because I’ve applied to some (damn the current job market for making it tough for the current generation which I am a part of), however I’ve been to two job interviews this year but none of them lead anywhere, with my job coach’s help.
But once I land a job (be it part-time or full-time), I’m going to work and save up money so I can move out (I still live with PIMI family). Once I move out, I’ll permanently stop attending conventions and assemblies and meetings. Yes, become POMO and then I’ll announce it to this subreddit
Oh, and to maintain friendly relationships with PIMI friends and family, I’m going to adopt a “don’t ask, don’t tell” attitude with being POMO. If they ask me why I don’t attend conventions, assemblies and meetings anymore, i will say “I’m busy with life now. Got a job and stuff to take care of.” and leave it at that.
No, I’m not staying in the JWs. Once I’m ready to move out, I’m leaving JW forever. I can’t keep up the facade anymore. It’s best if I leave to stay true to who i am.
And honestly, not getting baptized was the right call I made so I don’t get shunned by my PIMI friends and family
