Most of why derivates from defeating Vilgax but i'll explain anyway

He has the durability: Diamondhead tanked a hit similar to the one Thragg gave Nolan albeit with far less damage, and even if he gets damaged his endurance and regeneration are even more absurd than that of viltrumites as he's shown to have the capability to regenerate lost limbs in seconds and can survive even as just a head.

He should have the speed: he beat Vilgax who similar to viltrumites is shown traveling stellar distances in matter of days, even if you think this doesn't translate to combat speeds he's shown reacting and tagging guys like XLR8 and Jetray who are speedsters with feats that match those of viltrumites, flight advantage i also think doesn't matter much as even in Invincible we saw Battle Beast go toe to toe with Viltrumites multiple times without the ability to fly, he even killed one while in space (and again Diamondhead defeated Vilgax who could fly)

He probably has the strength: admittedly this is the hardest one because of how inconsistent both series can be at times but using more middle-end feats Vilgax should be around viltrumites being able to tank most weapons both earthly and alien, extreme temperatures, crashing from space and multiple city block to city level hits etc and Diamondhead was able to hurt and defeat him

Even using the extremely generous high ends Diamondhead gets to solar system level while viltrumites only get to like star level, and using low ends both are pretty buns lol

TL:DR: Diamondhead has solid enough showings of power for me to justify him beating most Viltrumites, maybe not the very strongest like Thragg or EOS Mark but around Omni-man and Conquest
