You somehow make the most braindead heros look like they have an insane skill curve, and at the same time, make the most feared and legendary hero from Chinese history look like a fucking dweeb.

AND THERE’S ATLEAST ONE EVERY GAME

I’d rather face down full stack Shugos over a single Juren, holy shit you are all so fucking annoying, if if I had any liking of the Wu Lin Faction, its fresh out the god damn window along with your fathers because there ain’t no FUCKING way you still have a dad in your life if you play Juren and unironically think he’s a good hero. Boring to fight, annoying to have on my team, i haven’t even decided to buy him.

YOU HAVE REPLACED MEDJAY AS MY MOST HATED HERO. That takes some effort.

This isn’t a post like last time where my PS+ ran out or anything, not an RP post, just my claim. I’m done with Helldivers 2.

The game just doesn’t feel fun to me anymore. Yeah I still have stuff to grind for, but when the game is filled with people kicking me for no reason and bugs that have existed since launch, I don’t enjoy it. I don’t enjoy the Toxic positivity that infests the main sub, I don’t like how the game went from being one of my favorites to just another game I only joke about and quote the community memes.

I figured the Chaosdivers would have been a decent enough reason to keep interest but I don’t really have reason. After all my character was made as a guy who only wanted Humanity to unite under Liberty and avenge the Creek, working a Rogue trader who would have worked with any human to protect humanity, Chaosdiver or loyalist, but people will just ignore that and act like you’re a team killing Scourgediver. Hard to create a Character who defies odds for his goals when someone is just like “erm Akchully” or “Well it doesn’t work because” yes I know technically yeah diver dies every mission. I’m making my own narrative in a game supposedly about making a narrative.

Speaking of Narratives, remember when it was revealed that the Devs will willingly rig the war and completely disregard our actions in favor of their own narrative, does that mean the SE invasion was inevitable? That they let us have Calypso? The Creek? Was there ever hope for Angel’s Venture? Why give us the illusion of having a weight in the war if we have none?

The Warbond weapons are also not all really enjoyable. You want me to pay either ten bucks or grind Diff 1s for Super Credits to get a few guns that are easily outclassed by most of the other guns? The only reason left to get Warbonds are for Armors, of which I use for a few games before going back to my usual set.

I’m just not enjoying my time in game, not enjoying the subs, haven’t been in the official discord in months, I’m not happy anymore.

For you guys that enjoy the game still, I’m not saying to quit for the same reasons, go on, keep playing. Just enjoy yourselves until you eventually can’t. Maybe I’ll be back, maybe not.
