Thoughts on piggyback?

For locked ecu 2020+

Have a 2023 M40. Dunno if I should piggyback or save for a real tune (will cost 4x more)

My dad used my card without asking me

I got a wrongful citation and just submitted the appeal a few days ago. Today I check my bank account and saw I had a couple dollars left. I’m a freaking high school student who has little to no money and my dad decided to use my card without asking to pay the full amount.

Now this sucks because I’m going to have a hard time getting my money back even if the appeal gets approved. You’re not supposed to pay as your appeal is under review since you’re basically proving yourself guilty by paying.

Now I can’t even see my appeal on the citations website so I don’t know if it’s still under review or not.

Already filed a claim with chase and called citations support

Sorry but at my age this is a lot of money

Please help!

Installed aftermarket exhaust. Just like stock, it’s held up with 4 rubbers and nuts. Broke the rear right bolt. How do I get this out and where can I find a replacement

Thoughts?

Got a front lip and I like the way it looks from the front. However, it looks kinda of off from the side. Would you suggest I just remove it, keep it, or just get skirts to go along. I am NOT trying to rice my beautiful car

Painted exhaust

Used vht flameproof spray paint. The tips were made in a weird way where one was bend around and the other was a straight pipe. Made the outer exit look fake and the exhaust look cheap

Any idea what this is from💀

2023 X3M40

13mm nut. Not a flange nut. I was installed an aftermarket exhaust and after I cleaned everything up and pulled the blanket out from under the car this rolled out.

I checked all four exhaust rubber mount points and there was a nut on each one (it was a flange nut).

I also checked the 2 V chassis nuts and there was a flange nut on all them too.

Honestly, I don’t even know if this is from this car

I only removed what was necessary to remove and install exhaust. (The V brace, mid brace, and the plastic underneath

Lwk stressing me out. Let me know if you have any ideas. Just checked under car today and everything seems to be in place

Genuinely hate this

Had dual 12s in my 2011 Acura MDX. No issue, hit hard. However, got a new car and dual 12s take up like 90% of the trunk space. I was looking to downside to a single 12, but a hard hitter. Plus, this is a sportier car (x3m40) so having a hundred pounds in the trunk isn’t the best.

The only issue I have with the X3M40 is that it’s a mild hybrid, meaning the alternator feeds the hybrid system, unlike a traditional car. That means I can only run up to 800 RMS safely.

I want a strong hitting sub, but I also don’t want to install secondary batteries. I want it to be small and as lightweight as possible so it doesn’t really affect the driving performance but will change the audio.

Maybe I should just get the ct sound or skar 700-750rms complete kits. I have no doubt they’ll the audio better but I am gonna miss all the panels of my car rattling.

My other options are to unsafely run over 1000 RMS, or just get a new car

How do I coach little kids?

I’m a freshmen in college and privately coach kids on swimming (I’m a D1 swimmer) most of my clients are 10-18 but I had a parent asking if I could coach their 5year old. I searched up a picture of how old the five-year-old was and I’m like doesn’t look that young. Long story short, it was the worst 45mins of my life.

I’m thinking about just keeping my lessons for anyone 10 and over. It’s like kids can’t even hear me talking and just do their own things

I’m sorry but I’m not the best with coaching little kids.

Im curious, how do people who coach the younger people actually do it? I feel like i didnt achieve anything in that time and i feel bad

Unpopular opinion

Round steering wheel is better than flat bottoms. I feel the flat bottoms ones are extremely bulking (they’re thicker too and uncomfortable to hold) and aren’t as flush as the round ones. Round wheels imo look cleaner

Alternatives to Bimmerxxxxx

Bummercode, bimmerlink, and other apps made by this company almost all require money. I know there are free apps that can do all of this (coding, scanning) for free. What are some recommendations for free apps?
