How do I (38M) deal with this massive betrayal, by a friend (44M) and my ex (39F)?

My ex broke up with me last month and whilst the first week was really shit without her, I got over it and focused on movies, TV shows, gaming and seeing friends.

I had a friend come round mine tonight, which I thought was weird as we only see each other in group settings. He dropped a bombshell on me, saying they have been seeing each other. Felt like I knew this was coming but I'm still very very angry.

It's only been a month and I just feel so disrespected. Thing is, she was seeing him 1-1 right before we broke up and in her marriage 2 years ago, she was cheating on her husband multiple times. Now I feel like, was she cheating on me too near the end of our relationship?! Thing is, I knew this when we first started dating and I should have called it off there, saving me time and money. I was just so so invested in her, that I ignored the big red flag in front of me.

It's really fucked me up and I'm going to try to stay positive. I'm seeing friends tonight and Saturday, which I know will help. Needless to say, I said to the friend I no longer want to be friends with him.

PS, forgot to say, he was recently in love with a married woman and still lives with his ex wife. Like, both of them deserve each other!

Dashcam and Infotainment system fittings for my car

Please can someone give suggestions on a place for both of these in Oxfordshire? It's a Yaris 2012 1.33 car.

Dashcam, I would need a duo one, that has 4K and parking mode (records whilst parked) and the infotainment system would need Android auto/Apple play, with Google maps with it.

Thanks in advance! Not a car guy, so assumed it would be a simple job but it's definitely not 😅

Yaris 1.33 2012 - Dashcam and Infotainment system fittings

Please can someone give suggestions for both of these?

Just came from Halfords (UK) and they couldn't fit either of them without ordering parts, which would take over a week and cost £230 on top of what I already paid, so I got a refund for everything as it was causing me stress as he was trying to upsell me things that were £100+ on top of what I already paid.

I know the car is old, so different stuff is needed. Saying that, please can I have suggestions for the best options for a car this old?

Thanks in advance! Not a car guy, so assumed it would be a simple job but I guess not!

Question about journey times and traffic on a Saturday morning

Driving again after 11 years and been a good while since doing a journey over 1h.

Going to Warwick Castle from Oxfordshire. Opens at 10am and was planning to leave at 8am. Journey time is 1h10m, according to Google maps. Would you guys leave earlier? Don't think I've ever driven on the M40 before.

Driving from Donnington bridge into Cowley Road question

Coming from Didcot to see family. My question is, can I pass through Magdalen Road or Bullingdon Road to get to Cowley Road or are there LTNs there?

If so, shall go up to the Plain roundabout and turn into East Oxford there.

Car acquired!

After searching for a few months, finally found a Toyota Yaris, that was affordable! 2012 Yaris for £5K, with 42K miles on the clock

Full service history and only minor MOT advisories, regarding tyres a few years back.

Really loved the Mortal Shell II demo but...

I really hope they add auto pick up in the full game. So annoying pressing A every single time, especially when it's coins and when tackling multiple enemies.

Yaris 2010 1.33 manual car at 26,000 miles - £4,000

This sounds to be good to be true? Me and my dad checked all the MOT tests and there were only tyre advisories a few years back but it's passed every year.

Current owner has only had it for 18 months and driven 5,000 miles only, as he has upgraded to an Audi. Previous owner only did like 1,000 miles a year, so definitely a car only used for small trips.

We are going to check out the car tonight. I guess the only downside for me, is that it doesn't have the screen built in or rear parking camera. So I may get these installed, as I don't want to use my phone for google maps.

Tbh, I really want a Hybrid Yaris but the price is roughily £8.5K+, which is annoying.

EDIT: it got sold as I was traveling there 😡

Anyone remember the video game shop by Magdalen Road in the 90s?

It existed in the late 90s and into 00s. Always loved going there for all my N64 games. I was wondering what it was called? I miss that place! Used to get great deals there with my dad.

What are everyone's thoughts on the IQ?

I was originally going to get a Toyota Hybrid Yaris but my god, they are disgustingly expensive used.

I want a small car and majority of my journeys will be 5 miles each way to work, Monday to Friday and trips to nearby towns/cities, 15-20 miles each way.

I love the look of IQ and all the ones I'm seeing with low mileage are all £2500-£4000

So yeah, thoughts?

Honda Super-N

Really love the look of it and it feels like it ticks every box! My work commute is 5 miles each way, with trips to Oxford every 2 weeks (14 miles each way)

My workplace have an electric charger (2 charging slots) and have a close service station that offers slow and fast charging. My parents in Oxford have an electric charger at home, so I can charge there too!

I guess my only concern is that I won't have home charging. Will this hold me back? Before this car, my heart was set on the Toyota Yaris Hybrid.

Goddamn, got my 1GB down to £24 in 3 mins and a half!

1GB with Netflix

I was paying £32 a month and wanted it lowered.

Has to be record time, hahaha!

Old receipt found in my copy of Insomnia

I wasn't expecting this at all. Looks like the original owner purchased it in the first year of release, which is cool!

Purchased from Vinted

Waxing services for men

Very embarrassed to post about this but do any Oxfordshire waxing places offer waxing for men in the bum area?

I need it done every 6 weeks, for medical reasons.

I used to use someone in Oxford for 10+ years but her attitude lately has really put me off using her.

Just finished my first read through and loved it!

I wanted others to experience it or it could be you want to read the series again. I am based in Oxfordshire, UK and want to give away for free books 1-7, with Wind through the Keyhole too. Versions are in paperback and there is slight damage on the Wolves copy. Whilst I would love to keep the collection, I do not have the room and i have like 10+ SK books on my coffee table to read, haha!
