I really want to summon on him since hybrids got buffed in the anniversary, of course I won’t use him in PvP but I just want him to be in my box ready for his plat. (He’s also one of my favorite releases in the game, and when he came out I got him on an alt account sadly.)

What are the emulators available on a modded Wii U? (Including Wii)

I know every console that Nintendo released is pretty much running there natively (Not including 3ds, switch 1 & 2.) but what about other consoles? like the Sega Dreamcast or Sega Saturn? I know there's a pretty good ps1 emulator running on the Wii but that's all I know of.

Wondering what are the best evWii values are and not spend hours searching like i did? (help) your savior has arrived! (Only for Wii U owners who are trying to play Wii games to their fullest potential.)

Quick disclaimer: This post is about evWii, an exclusive Wii U homebrew plugin that vastly improves vWii and GameCube game visual quality compared to stock settings. In this post I only aim on improving the quality of Wii titles on the Wii U. Reaching out here in good faith—hope this stays within post guidelines!

(Also, this is relevant to some Wii owners in here who are interested in upgrading to the Wii U to play their Wii games and not worry about losing visual quality.)

If you want to see my post (with photos of the values that will make it seem clearer) here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/wiiu/s/rYVAYzdoTp

Hey everyone!

If you’ve been messing around with the evWii plugin on Aroma, you probably know the exact pain I just went through. Nintendo’s default vWii scaling leaves annoying overscan/borders, and finding actual solid display numbers for the config file online feels impossible.

After falling down a massive rabbit hole of testing and fine-tuning the DMCU viewport parameters, I finally dialed in values that give you a clean picture without clipping or leaving an ugly blurry picture.

If you’re ready to finally end the suffering and fix your config file once and for all, paste these numbers in (My personal values):

[Request] [Steam] Call Of Duty: Black ops III - Zombies Deluxe edition/Zombies chronicles Edition

About Me and My Gaming Group: Hey everyone! I'm hoping to get back into Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies with my main friend group. We’ve been close friends ever since elementary school back in 2018. Back then, we used to grind BO3 Zombies late into the night on our PS4s, especially during winter breaks.

Fast forward to today: we're all in high school now, and over the last few years, every single one of us ended up switching over to PC. Because of the platform switch, we had to start from scratch and rebuy most of the games we used to play together. For a long time, we were pretty burnt out on Call of Duty and hadn't even thought about touching BO3 in years.

Why I Want the Game: Recently, with all the hype and discussions circulating around the Black Ops 2 rerelease on PS5, my friend group started talking about our old gaming memories. It brought back a huge wave of nostalgia for those late-night BO3 Zombies sessions we used to run. Everyone decided it was time to bring the squad back together and start grinding Zombies again on PC.

Why I Can't Afford It Right Now: Everyone else in the group has already picked up the game, but I’m stuck on the sidelines due to my current setup at home. My mom has very strict rules regarding money—she wants me to focus entirely on saving for the future. Because of this, she doesn't allow me to spend my own saved money on games at all. The only allowance I get for non-essentials is a strict $10/month cap on her credit card.

Even when Black Ops 3 goes on sale, it stays surprisingly expensive on Steam and sits way above that $10 limit. I completely understand and respect my mom's financial guidance about saving, but it definitely sucks missing out while the rest of my group is playing together again.

Conclusion: I’m really hoping to join them and relive those awesome elementary school memories now that we're in high school. If anyone is generous enough to gift me a copy of Black Ops 3 on Steam, I would be ridiculously grateful! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post.

So far this campaign has been buns to say the least (for the people who didn’t summon for the new unit.)

(This is my opinion and my point of view as a person who didn’t summon for the new unit. feel free to come at me if you want. everyone’s opinions and point of view are different.
Also I want to note that I’m only talking about this campaign so far and maybe the future of the campaign will change my opinion.)

This campaign has felt pretty stale so far. We’ve had almost no PvE content, no Equipment Bonanza, and two buffs for units that I found to be one of the most boring releases back in the 5th anniversary & 2020. Even though I love the concept of the new unit and Android 17 is one of my favorite characters in the series, it just feels wrong. Honestly, the only saving grace is the amazing featured boost—without it, I’d be completely over it. As someone who mained Androids for five months straight after UPC dropped, I still didn't care enough about the new unit to summon. Hopefully the next character release saves the campaign, because right now it’s feeling pretty out of place.

TL;DR: Even for a post-anniversary campaign, they could have done a lot better with the units, events, and overall content.

Can a jailbroken PS4 play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games like the Wii U does with Nintendo consoles?

On my jailbroken Wii U, I can play games from every previous home Nintendo console flawlessly (up to the DS in terms of portable consoles). Can a jailbroken PS4 replicate that all-in-one experience for PlayStation?

I'm thinking of buying a PS4 specifically to catch up on PS3 exclusives I missed (God of War: Ascension, InFamous 1 & 2, Killzone 2 & 3, LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2). Is this possible? If not, what other console can come close to the Wii U’s backwards-compatibility homebrew scene?

(I know I sound like I’m glazing the Wii U, but in my opinion it’s the best console money you can mod right now.)

Undervolted my 4060, should I go lower with the voltage or keep It as It is?

So, I’ve been tweaking my RTX 4060 in MSI Afterburner and managed to dial in a rock-solid profile at 0.900V @ 2490 MHz. (Model is MSI RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X BLACK)

The results have been amazing so far—performance holds practically identical to stock (if not smoother due to zero thermal throttling), while power draw and temperatures dropped noticeably.

0.900V @ 2490 MHz is amazing for my daily setup, but I plan on stepping down 15mV at a time tomorrow. To save time and avoid crash testing, what’s the lowest voltage floor people usually hit at 2490 MHz? (Also open to better overall voltage/frequency sweet spots if you have recommendations!)

0.900V @ 2490 MHz

Here's my curve if anyone is interested in copying. (For me It's super stable, I've had about 40-30 hours of gameplay with no issues at all.)

Currently on an RTX 4060 with $650 saved — Is upgrading to Intel Arc (B580 or the next generation of Intel Arc) worth it for VRAM & overall performance?

(this is a bit long so I made a shorter version Here): I play at 1080p on an RTX 4060 (8GB) paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X and 32GB DDR4 RAM. I’m anxious about VRAM aging poorly, but local tech markups in my country are brutal (for context, a 9070 XT costs $1,000+ USD minimum here). I have $650 saved strictly for a GPU upgrade (not upgrading CPU/MOBO/RAM). Is it worth looking at the Arc B580 or waiting for future Intel GPUs, or should I stick with my 4060 for now?

Full version: I'm currently in the middle of a GPU dilemma. My RTX 4060 treats me well right now, but I'm getting pretty worried about 8GB of VRAM aging poorly as newer games demand more memory.

For specs context, I'm running a Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB of DDR4 RAM (luckily bought before memory prices spiked). My system handles everything fine, so I have zero plans to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, or RAM—I am strictly looking to drop in a new GPU.

I play strictly at 1080p 60 fps locked prioritizing quality in most games, 120 in competitive games. (I have access to a 4K TV, but honestly can't tell enough of a visual difference to care about upgrading my display).

I've saved up around $650 USD for a GPU upgrade, but keep in mind local pricing in my country is pretty rough due to a weaker currency and heavy store markups. For reference, something like an RX 9070 XT goes for $1,000+ USD minimum in local electronics stores here. Because US MSRPs don't apply to my market, lower-cost options like Intel Arc caught my eye.

I know the Arc B580 launched at $250 with 12GB of VRAM and solid performance, which got me curious about Intel's lineup. Given my platform and local pricing situation, would going to the B580 (or waiting for higher-tier/next-gen Intel cards) be a worthwhile move from an RTX 4060 for 1080p gaming, or should I hold off?

(I know the answer if I should upgrade to B580 is gonna be no, I saw the performance difference and it’s about the same, B580 still seems better in terms of VRAM and FPS. another question I have is, when is the next Intel Arc GPU coming out? I know it’s been awhile since the B580 released.)

Which refresh rate should I choose for 60 FPS gaming?

I mostly play games that are locked to 60 FPS, or I cap my frame rate at 60 FPS because I prefer a smooth, consistent, stutter-free experience. My monitor is 165 Hz, but I currently have it set to 120 Hz with VRR (FreeSync Premium) enabled.

My question is: if I change the refresh rate from 120 Hz to 60 Hz, will 60 FPS feel any smoother, even with VRR enabled? Or does VRR already remove any advantage of matching the monitor's refresh rate to the game's frame rate, meaning I should just leave it at 120 Hz?

PSA: I'm not looking to change my FPS cap—I’m already happy with my current setup. I prefer capping my games at 60 FPS because I'm used to it, it keeps my GPU cooler (usually under 70°C even at 99% load), and it reduces unnecessary power consumption. I also like the idea of getting more longevity out of my hardware, so I'm specifically asking about refresh rate behavior with VRR, not whether I should uncap my FPS.

(Also, my FPS cap is set through RTSS, so I’m not relying on an in-game limiter.)

Does anybody know a way to fix the stuttering issues?

I know it doesn't seem much right now but it makes my head hurt in result of the stuttering, earlier in the game it was much, much worse. I've seen people on the internet call it traversal stutters but i haven't seen anyone actually fix this. is there someone who has the solution to this?

My specs:

RTX 4060 (8GB)

RYZEN 5 5600X

32GB RAM DDR4

1TB NVME SSD

650W PSU

Does anybody else think this is too much?

Canceling buff effects is already annoying, especially since almost every unit has it 3 TIMES. I feel like they should never bring this back and should just keep buff cancellation the way it was when they first introduced it.

For most units, half their kit revolves around attribute upgrades. One unit that suffers from this is Tag Hitku (a fairly recent unit).

They should either stick to normal buff cancellation or only add this kind of stuff to defensively weak units—Tag Gohan and Trunks are a perfect example of this.

u/acecond — 2 months ago

Can somebody explain this to me?

(Don’t mind the damage) Why does Gogeta Blue’s buff effect cancellation remove Tag Godku & Hit’s endurance nullification, but not their 100% damage guard penetration?

How do I fix Freesync making colors too saturated?

So, I came home from school today to play Valorant with my friends. And when I turned on my monitor and pc the colors were super bright and I found out that it was Freesync doing it. (it wasn’t 2 days ago before when I was gaming and using Freesync, please does someone have a fix for this? The bright and saturated colors are making my eyes strain and I prefer to keep using Freesync.)

Any recommendations for 60 HZ monitors?

So, I am Looking to swap out my 1080p 165Hz LG ultra gear monitor for a solid 27-inch 60Hz one, and wanted some recommendations.
Basically, I care way more about maxing out graphics settings than hitting crazy high frame rates. My RTX 4060 obviously can't handle epic settings at 120+ fps, and running games at 60fps on a 165Hz screen looks super choppy and stuttery when the frames fluctuate. I just want a rock-solid, locked 60fps experience that actually feels smooth.
I’m down for 1080p, 1440p, or 4K—resolution doesn't matter too much to me as long as the monitor has great-good colors and modern features, but it needs to be 60Hz and affordable. my budget is about 200-300$.
Any good recommendations? Thanks!
