What's the camera quality like on the S25 FE?

I currently have the Samsung A52, based on all the comparisons I'm doing the A52 seems to have the better camera for a phone that's not even on the market anymore. 64mp compared to 50mp that seems to be the standard now, but I honestly don't know what that really means and just see 64 as being better than 50. My A52 is being glitchy, my gallery got corrupted, things are freezing, and it no longer gets any kind of updates. A friend of mine who works in IT straight up told me "If you phone no longer gets updates you need a new phone". So, I'm looking and liking what I'm seeing so far of the S25 FE just want some reviews on the camera.

If I buy a phone online is there a way to activate it without going to the store?

As the title says...

Edit: I'm a existing customer and the store doesn't have the phone I want in stock

Any oily tzone sufferers like me? Have you had success with this Niacinamide (& squalane) serum?

I'm trying to stay away from heavy actives like BHA/AHA right now, but I still need something to help control the oil and Niacinamide was recommended. I'll go to Ulta Beauty if I have to, but I would prefer to try it on a dollar twenty-five before spending $15-$20+

Seeking advice on how to reverse hair thickening after bond repair shampoo

I have curly hair, fine curly hair. I bought a $5 box of hair dye that came with a sample of bond repair complex shampoo. I didn't think much of it and followed all the directions. Since using that shampoo my hair has been noticeably thicker and I hate it. It's not manageable and doesn't look good. It doesn't respond to my leave-in conditioner and mousse like it used to. Can a clarifying Shampoo fix it? Or is there something else I can do?

Azelaic Acid 15% vs 20%. Give me your stories?

What's better? I've been using 15% for a month, and I don't know. I thought after a month something would start to give and look different. I'm wondering if I should bump it up to the 20% (I do have the option to do that).

Indica gummies for sleep not helping me sleep... Am I doing something wrong? Should I take 2?

I'm a first time user (I know NOTHING about this stuff) who has had some issues with getting a restful night of sleep. I'll fall asleep, but it'll be broken sleep and I'll wake up multiple times or I'll fall asleep wake up around 2 or 3 am and that's it I'm not falling back asleep. Yes, I've talked to my doctor and I don't have any of the symptoms for sleep apnea. It's potentially stress driven. Melatonin was a waste of money. I tried an anti stress vitamin gummy OTC that was also a waste of money. I had a friend suggest going to a cannabis shop. This shop suggested their Dream gummies. The packaging says THC INDICA GUMMIES / 200MG (I don't know if that's the weight if the package or dosage?). 10MG CBN. 5MG THC. I was told to start with half a gummy. For being a first time shopper there and signing up I got a free gift, another bag for the dream gummies but a higher dosage. I was told if the low dosage didn't work the higher dosage would for sure work.

Night One: Half a gummy. Nothing happened. It was nothing more than leaving a blue raspberry taste in my mouth. Didn't really sleep that night.

Night Two: Whole gummy. Went to bed a half hour later. Broken sleep.

Night Three: I started looking up when would be the best time to take the gummies since it's not on the packaging. Google says 2 hours for optimal absorption. I started getting tired an hour after taking the gummy, hallucinated getting eaten by a dinosaur (which my friend says is definitely a high from the Indica), and slept on and off.

Night Four, last night: I decide to go for the higher dosage, only to discover its not actually a higher dosage? It's the same INDICA 10MG CBN 5MG THC but with Live Rosin. Again, there are no instructions on when to take so I take it two hours before I know I'm going to go to bed. An hour and a half later my body feels a little weird, I keep staring ahead, my head rolls, I can't get comfortable. I have another lil hallucination. I eventually get ready for bed and get settled in bed, but I'm not tired and end up staying awake for an hour. Broken sleep follows.

Am I doing something wrong? Is two hours too much time? Do I need to be eating something for better absorption (Google says I need some kind of fat?)? Could my weight play into it (I'm 198lbs right now)? The packaging says 1 gummie but I'm about to consider 2 gummies tonight. I will be getting my money's worth out of these even if they don't work because I hate waste and it's a 40 days supply.

No more Chicken Cantina bowl?

I was just about to place an order on the app, and the cantina chicken bowl is not on the menu anymore. It was one of the main things I could order without dairy (damn you lactose intolerance) and still have it be a fulfilling meal. 😭

How do you deal with the text message anxiety? How do you stop yourself from constantly checking your phone? (F/35-M/33)

I'm the female in this post. This is a fairly new relationship of five weeks. We're a few hours apart distance wise. I'm not even sure the anxiety I'm feeling right now is valid because I am someone who wears their heart on their sleeve and I do tend to get in my head a bit. He's ADD. He admits that sometimes my messages show up as a notification, he gets distracted, swipes and forgets. He really does make an effort to talk to me otherwise. He works blue collar which means his hours are all over the place and I pretty much won't hear a word from him during the day until he's home at his apartment. I've accepted that because we talk in the morning and then we will talk once he's settled at home. He called me yesterday when he was in the store after work just to help him pick out some body wash. He does make an effort. I can handle that during the week. It's harder on the weekend. I know he sleeps in on the weekend because he's so damn tired, but sleeping in is usually 11 at the latest. I sent him a good morning around 8. He finally came around an hour ago at 1 to tell me was awake, no good afternoon, no hi, no asking how I was doing and then he has basically disappeared. My phone has Read indicators and he hasn't seen them. Idk if that's true or if he got distracted. I feel like there's been a lot of ways he's shown me that he does care. He's human he's got shit to do. Logically I know this. I want to be logical, I want to be mature. I don't want to fall into the trap of texting something to get his attention or ask if he's okay or if somethings wrong and yet I can't stop looking at my phone. I want to be patient and let him come to me again. I don't want to be clingy or a overbearing.

What can I do to help my hair?

Routine:

Wash a few times a week with Not Your Mothers Curl Talk shampoo, follow up with Not Your Mothers Curl Talk 3-n-1 conditioner as a leave-in, and end with Herbal Essences curl boosting mousse. I plop my hair in a microfiber towel for an hour and let it air dry from there. I clarify once a week with Ion hard water shampoo and conditioner. I just ordered a water filter shower head to help with that.

I bought a blow dryer difusser last week out of curiosity to see what the hype is about and it wasn't for me it just made my hair dry. I returned it. It's not a big loss to me. I don't have the patience to do nothing but diffuse for twenty minutes anyway.

For the most part I am happy with my routine. My curls look great once dried. I sleep with a satin bonnet and satin pillow cases. The day after I spritz with some water and hit it with some Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Lightweight oil to help with Frizz, but the effects are temporary leading to day 2 hair in the pictures: Frizzy, dry, and prone to breakage with a slight pyramid head.

Not to mention I'm insecure about hair line pattern right now. I've tried various hair oils and serums to help stimulate hair growth, and while I can admit to my consistency being shit it can disheartening to spend $15 on a serum that seems to be doing nothing which kills my motivation. I can't afford a derm. My vitamin D and B were low back in January, my doctor said fixing that might help with help with my hair. Taking vitamin D and B daily has been consistent and my hair line still looks like that.

I am going to call Monday to get an appointment for a hair cut, probably need to get a trim for sure. Maybe some layers? The person who cuts my hair doesn't really understand curly hair, but her prices are good and I do need a trim.

The next available appointment with my PCP is December. I can get a free consultation with Amazon medical as a prime member and I'm seriously considering asking about minoxidil or what I can do to help with my hair line.

I just want soft, moisturized curls. I want healthy hair. I'm open to any product recommendations and maybe even trying something new. I love NYM products, but I remember years ago using Curl Smith which was a dream on my hair but Curl Smith is also expensive and Ulta doesn't do the buy 2 get 1 free on their travel sizes anymore. I'd be open to making an investment in something else if I can get some good bang for my buck and if it'll actually help. I've been reading about Innersense being good for curly hair?

[Update] How are you getting on birth control if you can't get an appointment with your doctor?

I got an appointment, which I'll explain more in a second.

Thanks to everyone who left helpful comments on my last post when I didn't know what to do. I'm not a student, just an adult whose been out of the game for a bit and am wanting to be proactive about my health as I navigate a new relationship. I was shocked to find out there were no appointments available until the end of the year just for me talk about birth control and the lack of walk-in options left me feeling unsettled. I'm in the US and healthcare around here isn't easy... Which is putting it lightly...

My mom has the same PCP as me and she has a private number for her. It's a number my doctor offers to patients when they have trouble getting in through the main office, because as it turns out when I call the place I'm not talking to anyone at a desk in the actual building anymore, but a call center in another state. That call center basically follows a script and leaves no room for leeway. They didn't even tell me I had the option to do a virtual appointment (my doctor was upset they didn't offer this to me) which is what I got after I called my doctors private number and her nurse contacted me to get on the books for that. I just had to wait for after closing hours since in-house patients come first (of course). The office lost a lot of doctors during Covid and they haven't quite caught up to getting back to full staff since so it's only two main providers available at my PCP's office right now, hence long out appointments. It sucks, but it explains a lot.

I got my virtual appointment and started my prescription for birth control yesterday. It's called Hailey if anyone has experiences with that to share. My doctor said it'll be a month before its effective and it might lessen my periods, which I won't complain about lol. She said it might even help with my breakouts I get from Rosacea. I guess I'll find out.

Did DT discontinue the Pro Silk Body lotion?

I have access to three Dollar Tree's. None of them have it anymore and the shelves are empty where PSB lotions should be. It's not listed on the app anymore either. RIP 😭 this was my holy grail lotion. I loved the whipped texture.

A near $125 value for $32 (with tax)

It feels good to know that self-care can be affordable these days. I do have some other skincare products and makeup that just works for me outside of DT products, but I decided to take a chance here. Out of the box includes a makeup brush, setting spray and setting powder because I bought them from a lesser stock DT a few says ago. Got the smokey pallete of the MC eye shadow since they were out of the LA colors smokey. I looked up everything based off what I've bought before or found the closest equivalents. It seems crazy that this would come out this much otherwise. It's near $10 for one makeup brush at Walmart 😭 I'm officially a DT beauty convert and will go back.

How are you getting on birth control if you can't get an appointment with your doctor?

I'm really getting frustrated here. The earliest appointment my PCP has available is December. Two local walk-in clinics are no longer walk-in and those appointments are far out. Our planned parenthood closed last year. I signed up for Amazon one-medical, did the health AI chat, just to be told I needed to see a doctor since I have a heart murmur (said murmur has never been an issue in my life). I signed up for GoodRx since it said I could get through prescription through telehealth but it's $30 to sign-up and that doesn't guarantee me the script either because what if they tell me I still need to see a doctor anyway? That's $30 in the trash then. I was looking at the oPill at Walgreens, but how can it be as effective as script if available over the counter (plus the side effects with periods I've read about it make me nervous and I'm getting my period every 3 weeks at the moment). Not to mention the oPill is expensive asf.

Unless someone can give me some positive experience with the OTC then I don't know what to do. My boyfriends being patient, but I told him I'm not relying solely on a condom as they're not 100%.

Can anyone tell me about the bras? True to size or run big?

I typically have to size down with Old Navy clothes because they're bigger, but bras are another story and I typically size myself too low when I buy bras at other places lol

Does anyone know about One Medical? I've been on hold almost an hour.

I've been trying to sign up for One Medical; they ask for my phone number, I put it in, get redirected and told call customer care. The customer care number took me to the pharmacy and after about ten minutes there I was given a number for the actual One Medical, but was told they weren't going to open for a half hour (7 PT). I'm EST time so I called the number at 10 on the dot after a half hour. I haven't even got through to anyone and been listening to essentially hold music for 50 minutes. Are they even open on the weekend? Every two minutes I keep getting a message about my call being important and they will put me through soon. I really want to get this sorted, but I don't want to listen to hold music for another hour either.

Edit: They finally put my call through and they claimed they couldn't hear me so they disconnected the call...

BC pills how effective? + will daily vitamins/antibiotics hurt it?

I'm um... Inexperienced in this area and the last time I was on birth control it was to control acne. I'm getting out there and have met a pretty great guy and while he's not pressuring me I think it's time to consider BC and get ahead of it.

I was eyeing up Nexplanon because it seems to the most effective outside of an IUD. I absolutely do not have the mental headspace to get the IUD procedure done + a good friend of mine just had one done, she was in pain, and in an off mood for a few days after. The procedure of Nexplananon while minor kind of makes me nervous too, but it's more the stories I've heard of being hard to get out that scare me.

Tbh I don't have time to wait to see if I could even get Nexplananon. Appointments with my PCP are far out due to lack of staffing and I'm guessing I can't go to my PCP without a referral to a gyno so that's delaying more time and I wanted to get started on birth control and am looking to the Amazon pharmacy to get me on the pill.

91% effective on the pill puts me on pause though. With a condom the odds are better to prevent pregnancy right? I am seriously considering buying plan B to have on hand just in case.

I also take a woman's daily multi vitamin (gummy form), a daily biotin for my hair (gummy form), a daily vitamin b (gummy form), prescription vitamin D, Omega 3-6-9 (fish oil basically), and tetracycline (antiobiotic) twice daily.

I'm on the tetracycline for Rosacea, the vitamin D and Vitamin B because those levels were low at my last blood work a few months ago, and the rest are personal choices. Can those things effect birth control?

I wasn't sure which was the right flair so just picked something.
