Thoughts on Customer of the Week?

I hated this episode the first time I saw it for some weird reason. I just rewatched it, it’s one of the best modern episodes. The scene with her and talking to Stewie in the back of the car who’s just giving one word answers is hilarious. Also, the cutaway with The Mountain in the deli is so satisfying!

Is this a classic or a skip for you guys?

Feeling frustrated

Just looking for advice, thoughts, any help. Here’s my predicament.

My psychiatrist prescribed me 30mg of Vyvanse back in December, and it’s been helping me like crazy. It’s just made my life so much better, it’s improved my cognitive functioning, punctuality, organization skills etc It’s easier for me to talk to people and have conversations and pay attention to what people are saying. Feels like a miracle drug to me. It’s awesome because my journey to finding something that works was challenging. I was out on Wellbutrin and then had a psychotic breakdown so that was super fun. Then I found a sketchy ass ADHD testing facility that said they’d have results in several weeks and six months later…nothing. So feeling lucky to have found something that works.

However, I mentioned a few months ago to my psychiatrist that I noticed my heartbeat sometimes felt elevated. I also told her I wanted to increase my dosage because I felt like it would improve my life even more and that 30 was a good start but not quite cutting it. She told me to get an EKG which I did, but unfortunately, while the EKG came back fine, there was a note that said “possible left atrial enlargement”. I was told it was not a serious issue.

Because of this finding, my psychiatrist won’t even let me continue the medication without being absolutely positive that my heart is OK.

I found a cardiologist who will run further tests but they don’t have time to see me until mid August. This would mean that I’ll be going a month and a half, (almost 2 months) rawdogging life again (something I’ve been doing for the past 20 years so I am used to it)

I’m gonna talk to her this coming week, but I just am looking for advice or any help or if anyone’s been in a situation like this.

Also. I completely understand that my psychiatrist is simply looking out for me and doesn’t want to prescribe me something that might be detrimental to my cardiovascular health but it just makes my situation much more difficult.

TLDR: Psychiatrist prescribed me Vyvanse, told her my heartbeat felt elevated, got an EKG was told I have a possible left atrial enlargement, now cannot continue until seeing cardio doc who doesn’t have availability until mid August

TLDR the TLDR: doc no give meds because heart too fast me sad :(

For my Millenial peers: Who’s got childhood trauma from this nightmare of a kids movie?

From 1987. Just rewatched this. What is it about animated films from this era and always having one or two (or 3 or 4 in this case) incredibly dark, disturbing scenes?

It remains a solid, well animated film with excellent voice acting from Jon Lovitz and the late Phil Hartman. Pixar would go on to perfect this type of story but the blueprint here is worth watching. But some of those scenes, my lord.

You think Toy Story 3 is traumatizing? Oh honey…

Thinking of seeing Manadolarian & Grogu in Screen X but after seeing a few reviews, I’m on the fence. Worth it or nah?

It sounds like a fun concept, I’ve never experienced anything like that. But I’ve seen a few comments about how it’s poorly designed and sometimes negatively impacts enjoyment of the film. Anyone here see anything in ScreenX? Fun? Or avoid at all costs?
