I can't speak for every aries, but some of us are just naturally impulsive by nature​ & we love pretending we make calculated moves, when our actual default setting is usually "see red, act now, sort out the mess later". ​To be clear, I’m not depressed, heart broken​ or anti-social by nature. I actually love connecting with high-energy folks who talk substance without preconceived notions. But I’ve noticed people around us always mistake this impulsive drive for anger & snobby nature, when usually it's just a desperate need to cut through noise.

Prime example: I joined both Facebook & LinkedIn back in 2006. Yesterday, realizing both platforms had devolved into "an endless loop of toxicity, cringe everyone venting, nobody listening or sharing any constructive prespective / feedback to someone who's already undergoing some sort of problems in his / her life. I just hit delete on both 20 years old a/c's on pure impulse. No 2nd thoughts, Zero backups, zero hesitation, clean sweep. ​Now, since this morning, every time muscle memory makes me reach for my phone, I just stare at a blank screen wondering if I finally found peace or just erased 20 years of my life on a whim.🤷🏻‍♂️

​Anyone else ever pull a reset this drastic on pure impulse?

I don't know how or why this crossed my mind, but I thought I'd share it with fellow aries & get some "off the cuff", & outside perspective.

I had this pretty playful, platonic friendship with a pisces woman who was quite a bit older than me. I was 24 then, she was 44. That was in 2021. We had some weird shit happen between us later & eventually broke all ties.

She used to crack double-meaning jokes + have certain conversations with me that I felt crossed a line. I was always clear about my boundaries & never really reciprocated the way she seemed to want. Looking back, maybe that pissed her off. I honestly don't know.

She once told me, very bluntly and kinda rudely, “You Aries are cold, loners & selfish people in real life.” But for some reason, "that insulting one sentence still sticks with me. and yeah, it still kinda hurts.

Now my take: Because I don't think I'm a loner. I feel like us Aries can actually know a LOT of people, acquaintances, random people we talk to, people who'd probably call us their 3 AM best friend. But do we actually let that many people in? I don't think so? Maybe there's a difference between being alone, being surrounded by people, and actually feeling close to someone.

So now I'm wondering was she talking about Aries in general, or was she taking pot-shot on me?

You know when you’re just "drawn to someone" & can’t quite put your finger on why? That thing that makes you want to get closer, keep talking, spend more time with them maybe take it further.

Is it chemistry, passion, infatuation, pure lust or is it their energy / behavior, the way they look at you, their vibes / persona, that "silent sexual tension" you can feel before anything even happens, almost magnetic pull toward someone that you can’t really explain, but you can’t ignore either? Sometimes you don’t even know what it is about them you just want them.

What actually creates that kind of desire for you?
