Do I really need 2 substrate bags for 1 grain bag? [northspore brand)

I’m planning to use one of their 3lb grain bags. Im also going to use their manure based substrate, which are 5lb bags.

Do I really need to use 2 of them?

What size tub is recommended for 3lb grain + 1 (or 2?) 5lb substrate bags?

Thank you

Has Damaged Bug ever performed live?

Not finding anything at first glance. It wouldn’t surprise me if he hasn’t, but just curious as I love that synth sound.

Do these take a while to get used to?

I’ve worn contacts for 20 years and just got glasses.

It’s just very different now. Looking out the edges of the glasses (still fully through the lens) makes me a bit dizzy, as does turning my head quickly.

IDK, I can just sort of tell I’m like looking through a bubble.

Does this go away? Or do I just get used to it? Because one day one it seems like this is a generally worse visual experience than wearing contacts. And I’d hate to just get used to settling for a slightly worse visual experience.

Thanks.

How can the distance you travel be shortened the faster you go?

I understand that the faster you go the quicker youll get there.

What I can’t comprehend is that if I’m traveling 7000 miles at the speed of light, how do I physically only travel ~1 mile?

Tripping alone with eyes closed

For context, I’ve tripped maybe 10-15 times from 18-25. Always with friends, always just for fun.

As I’ve grown older (35) I’ve been trying to address my mental health.

I’ve been thinking of taking a moderate dose (3ish grams) as then laying down with a blindfold on (per Terrance McKenna). I’d set intentions before the trip etc.

I’ve just never gone into a trip with an intention, and certainly never to do nothing but face my own thoughts head on.

I’d love to hear about how this type of trip differs from going out into the woods with your buddies.

Thanks.

Edit: just realized I misused the flare. Not currently tripping.

Cubensis Spores?

Hello!

Before ordering online, I was wondering if anyone knows of any local businesses/groups that offer spores?

Thanks!

Osees is my favorite band - where do I start?

For reference I love all OSees, but I do prefer their punkier stuff, and their synthier stuff (Damaged Bug side project). I otherwise listen to a lot of obscure punk.

Thanks.

Warming: suboxone can cause precipitated WD (7oh)

I’m writing this because a lot of suboxone doctors and QuickMD won’t really go over this when they give you your script.

I was taking 1,000-1,500mg daily of 7oh. I got a suboxone script and planned to do a rapid taper.

I waited 12 hours from last 7oh dose and took 2mg suboxone. I should note that before I took the sub, I was barely in any WD, noticeable, but still very minor.

Fast forward about an hour later and I am in full blow precipitation. Unbelievable. It was actually a god send in a way, because I was initially planning to quit without telling my wife about my use and detox. But the precipitated WD came on so unbelievably hard and fast that I almost immediately broke down and told her everything.

If I had any 7oh left, implementing the Bernese method would have worked, but I didn’t. So I did the only other thing I could think of. I began loading up with more bupe.

I took 2mg doses every hour or so, and eventually, after about 9mg, the precip was gone and I was relatively stable.

The good news is that after 2 days of this, I was able to stabilize at 1-2mg a day, which I’ve done for the past 3 days, with plans to quit entirely now.

IDK, I guess the moral of the story is if you need to get clean as fast as possible, and you’re the strongest person in the entire world, just take 2mg suboxone and ride that bitch out. But I could never.

Be careful.

Trying to pitch Balatro to a professional poker player

Hey guys, I’m a stand-up comedian and Balatro addict (91% to C++). I recently appeared on a comedy poker show called The Fold alongside three-time WSOP bracelet winner and YouTube poker personality Doug Polk. I was trying to spread the good word of Jimbo and did a pretty bad job explaining the game. I will continue to bug Doug to play it on stream just out of my own personal desire to watch a poker pro play the game for the first time. I will report back with any updates.

Does Boo item effect negate off road speed penalty?

I’m watching people online and occasionally see people take shortcuts with just the Boo item (activated/invincibility).

I’m too new to really tell what’s happening, I just assumed that even with Boo the off road areas would slow you down all the same.

Should I do side quests before completing Nilfgaardian Connection?

brand new player, just entered Velen after completing White Orchard. currently level 4.

The Nilfgaardian Connection quests is sending me all around Velen, and I’m noticing I’m passing by and unlocking (on the map) several villages with multiple side quests (!) and notice boards.

I’m worried I’ll get overwhelmed, so I was wondering if I should ignore them all for now until I complete this quest?

But, if this is a super long quest, I don’t want to have ignored all side quests for too long as well.

Any tips?

ATTN: Handheld players - are you really stopping charging at 80-90%?

I’ve been a docked player forever, but have recently found myself playing handheld quite a bit on the NS2.

I’ve occasionally planned a handheld session, and preemptively disabled the stop charging feature, but then always turn in back out as soon as I put the switch back on the dock.

For those of you who primarily, or even just semi-occasionally play handheld, do you use this feature, and why?

How to find quests

I’m maybe 4 hours in and loving it. I’m holding off on the main quest, and focusing on side quests. I did the 2-3 that appeared on the first bulletin board, and now don’t have any more pending (aside from the main, and collecting all gwent cards).

So I’ve basically just been running around to all the different ‘?’ areas and looting. however I haven’t found any more side quests from doing this.

Are they only on boards/active towns?

Any tips for finding more quests?

Easy/common repair?

Lenovo laptop broke. Most of the frame is metal, but the part that broke is plastic. Picture 2 shows the piece, which unfortunately can’t just snap back on, as a bunch of tiny pieces of plastic broke off with it. Picture 3 shows that the screen is also separating from the frame.

What are my best options?

What’s wrong with my Clefable?

I’m fairly new and wanted to an a fairy type. After looking around a bunch, it seemed like Clefable is an excellent choice, especially for a tanky Pokemon.

I caught 2, this one, and another with Lonely nature (did not lvl this one yet)

For some reason my Clefable doesn’t do well in battle, regardless of the type matchups (unless it’s super effective, of course).

Is the Hasty nature (defensive down, speed up) really the source of my weak Pokemon? What can I do to improve it and use it effectively? What about the moveset as well? Currently running Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Draining Kiss (for some health gen).

Thank you

How do I play Pokemon?

So I’m pretty new to ZA, I’m around main mission 15, and I have my ‘core 5’ pokemon, along with a dozen or so others at level 30-40.

I’m having a tough time because I keep needing different types for battles, so I’m constantly swapping Pokemon in, but often then ones I swap in are under leveled.

Do most of you stick with a core team and just grind them all the way, or do you keep a larger roster and swap them in occasionally just to level them up? And if so, how do you do that efficiently—like how big is your roster, and what methods do you use for getting those lower-level pokemon caught up. And, how often are you switching out your main 5? example: are you always running the same 5 through an evening Battle Zone, or might your team change several times in one evening?

The Witcher 3 - still waiting for Switch 2 edition?

I’ve been holding off on starting The Witcher 3 because a lot of people thought a Switch 2 version might get announced alongside the new DLC. The DLC was revealed today, but there was no mention of a Switch 2 edition.

Do you think that’s a sign it’s not happening, or is there still a decent chance Switch 2 news could come later? Trying to decide whether to keep waiting or just finally start playing.
