Myvi G3 driver tried driving a BYD M6

Last week my company asked me to drive their BYD M6 to transport our canopy from PJ to Seremban and tbh, it felt like driving a car in a video game. And it was the first time for me to drive an electric car so this is a review from someone who never drove an EV before.

The regen brakes took some time for me to get used to it and the brakes was so sensitive that I needed to tap it slowly to stop the car. Driving was very smooth and the auto cruise felt more intuitive than what Perodua have to offered. The steering was also so smooth and turning feels like turning air with 0 resistance. It's probably just me but when I drive this car at 120km/h, which is my usual speed when the highway is clear, I felt like I could push it way further than what I can do on the Myvi. Didn't feel as much as air resistance or drag. Also good soundproofing when driving in high speed.

The Android player was horrible tho. It lags time to time and sometimes it's more reliable to use my phone instead to travel short distance. Pick up is also a bit slow but was told it's because the car is set to eco mode. There's a sport mode but never tried that yet.

Charging is a bit more on the expensive side tbh. Full charge cost RM84 from 23% battery. But I would say it's definitely similar cost to refueling a car like a civic. But fuel economy wise, definitely lightyears more expensive than a Myvi and Axia.

Overall it does feels very premium and kinda makes me wonder if my next car should be an EV.

This is coming from a perspective of a guy who has only drove a Myvi G3 daily, and have driven an Axia and Civic 2014 (parent's car) before. Never drove an EV or an MPV for that matter. I find the driving experience just nice and quite premium. Probably would try driving more EVs in the future.

How do girls determine a guy "smells good"?

Yesterday my ex called me to help fix her flat tire at 1am.

Came there, pulled out my tools, changed he flat tire to the spare one within 30 minutes. And put away everything, told her to go to a tire repair shop tomorrow to get her tires patched because her tires are still brand-new.

When I was done, covered in sweat, she just sniffed me and said I smell nice. And added "You kinda look hot".

Bro I haven't showered since I got back from work and I'm literally sweating like hell. What u mean I smell nice.

How do girls consider something smells nice? Genuinely curious. Like I can smell my pits already. I'm very self conscious about my body-odour. Like genuinely does a guy who sweats like hell smell nice or she's just joking or something.

Is it weird that is how I see it? I hold no grudge against Islam. No hatred towards the belief nor its people. It's just that... We don't believe in the same thing. I know plenty of Muslims out there who doesn't try to push religion down my throat. Respect the fact that I don't believe in Islam. And in return I respect that they still do. It's not my place to tell what others should believe in and it's not theirs to tell me what I should believe in.

You shouldn't talk down to what someone believes in because you disagree with it. As no belief is perfect. Not even Scientology or Atheism. You can say what you want but at the end of the day, no one does anything because they're inheritly evil. People do things because they believe they're right. Because they believe the opposite of what they believe in is undeniably evil as they know no better.

For me, I like the saying, "be the change you want to be". I want people to stop hating on eachother for having different beliefs. And I hope one day all of us could find a middle ground with the people who would label us as the spawn of "dajjal" and find out we're not as "evil" as they want to believe we are.

Contrary to popular debates by a lot of conservatives of Malaysia, there's very little evidence in practice that shows wearing modest clothing actually prevents people from getting harassed.

And many reports shows that even if you are fully covered, hesd to toe, you cans till be a target or victim and it's not your fault.

A common message back in 2015 till this day is that wearing a hijab prevents people from looking at you sexually. That is a myth.

In reality, most r@pe cases are not caused by "Woman dressed sexy. In 2002, 70% of women gets harased at home with 80% of r@pe victims know who their the person who committed the crime to them.

(source: Women’s Aid Organisation)

Most crimes aren't motivated by clothing. It's mostly committed to people who knows they can exert power over the victim.

This message is to stop people from blaming victims for wearing revealing clothes when something bad happens to them.

Even in countries where women are covered from head to toe, they still gets assaulted. And in more conservative states and nations, women are afraid to even report the crime out of shame.

Let's end the continuous line of victim blaming. R@pe is r@pe. It doesn't matter what you wear. Just because a woman looks provocative to you does not mean it's an open invitation to harass them.

Just a PSA btw. Cheers bruvs.
