Amey Wagh is criminally underrated when he does serious roles

Amey Wagh is popular with comic roles. Pan serious roles chi tyanchi nivad ekdum top class aahe.

His character in the new movie Frame looks incredibly stressed out and complex. He’s playing a rookie photojournalist clashing with Nagraj Manjule’s old-school character.

Shekhar Suman Show, why so low promotions?

I am not finding much chatter or promotional content on social media. I wonder why. Millennials would remember him. It because he is getting old, and the tired energy shows up ... or the content is not as per what works today.

What are your thoughts on this?

If that's you (or someone you follow), please comment or DM me. I'd love to include more creators in future campaign opportunities for Marathi movies, OTT releases, music and TV shows.

Smaller creators are absolutely welcome too.

Please DM me and ask for the Marathi Content form. Don't want to promote / spame here and break rules.

5 years after my stroke, my brain still doesn't feel the same. Does it ever get better?

Hi everyone.

I'm from India and turning 40 soon.

I had my first brain stroke around the age of 34-35 and have had multiple small strokes since then. I'm on lifelong medication.

Physically, I look fine and most people probably wouldn't know anything is wrong. But my brain doesn't feel like the same brain anymore.

Before all this, I was quick, articulate and worked in marketing, where communication is a huge part of my job.

Today, I notice things like:

  • More typos than before
  • Losing words while speaking or writing
  • Slower calculations and counting
  • Taking longer to process information
  • Getting mentally exhausted much faster
  • Feeling like my thoughts are faster than my ability to express them

The hardest part is that I constantly compare myself to who I used to be.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm still recovering, or if this is simply my new normal.

I miss being sharp.

I miss not having to think twice before writing an email or speaking confidently.

I'm trying to figure out whether I should keep expecting improvement or start rebuilding my life and career around these changes.

For people who are 5, 10 or more years post-stroke:

  • Did your brain continue to improve years later?
  • Did your communication skills come back?
  • Did your processing speed improve?
  • Did you eventually stop grieving your "old self"?
  • What helped the most?

I'm not looking for false hope. I just want honest experiences from people who have lived through this.

Thank you.

What happens when you let a Sales Leader run your marketing for a week.

A Head of Sales agreed to run marketing for one week.
Here's the diary.

Monday.
"Easy. I'll just launch a campaign."
Discovers a campaign needs a brief, message, design, and multiple channels to run it. Discovers that you need multiple people for that. It's 6pm. Nothing has launched.

Tuesday.
Asks the designer why he can't just quickly "develop the landing page too." Learns "quick" and "develop landing page" and "designer" do not belong in the same sentence. Asks why our AI agent can't launch it automatically.

Wednesday.
Wants a customer case study by Friday. Learns that it needs a happy customer, CS approval, an interview, a redraft, and the PR team's blessing. The customer is "checking internally."

Thursday.
Sits in on SEO, lifecycle, product marketing, events and ops, all before lunch. Realizes this is not one job. Quietly stops saying "just."

Friday morning.
Read about AEO last night. Walks in: "Let's launch AEO." Learns you can't optimize to be the answer an AI gives if the models have nothing to cite you for. Realises AEO isn't a new channel you *just* switch on.

At noon the Founder walks in: "So what did marketing deliver this week?"
Head of Sales, eye twitching, holding ten half-finished things: "…it's complicated."

By Friday afternoon, the man who spent two years saying "marketing should just send more leads" has sent zero leads, launched zero campaigns, and aged four years.

He doesn't apologise.
But he never says "just" again.

And honestly? That's the whole win.
You don't earn respect for marketing by explaining the surface area.

We spent years trying to find our voice. Then AI showed up and gave everyone the same one.

We spent years trying to find our voice. Then AI showed up and gave everyone the same one.

Over the last few months, I've been consuming and seeding a lot of content.

Social media feeds, carousels, brain rot fruit videos, yapping video scripts

Most of them good clean, sharp, well articulated. But after a while, everything starts looking same,

By 20th post you could see ..

Same Typography, Same Visual Style.

Same Colors. Same Layouts.

Different logo.

Almost as if they were manufactured in the same factory.

The funny part? They are.

AI has dramatically improved people's ability to create faster.

what it has not improved is taste.

We still get the gratification. We spend 30 minutes refining the prompt. Add complicated instructions. Go through 19 iterations. Finally get something that feels customized to us.

Dopamine hit.

Come back to our feeds, and our output looks suspiciously similar to everyone else.

When the speed of producing content is almost a commodity today, the taste and distinctiveness is what makes a mark now.

Taste is probably more valuable than ever.

Any one from India facing "payment method, not saved" issue on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I am using credit card.

I have been trying to update my payment information for my LinkedIn subscription, however I keep receiving the error message stating that, in accordance with Reserve Bank of India regulations, the card cannot be saved at this time.

The issue is that there does not appear to be any alternative option available for me to update the payment method or complete the payment through the Purchases tab.

I would appreciate it if you could please help me with a solution or guide me on how I can successfully update my payment details and continue the subscription.

i am based in India and use Visa mastercard

Struggling attention span with AI content, talking about attention span ..!!?

With every second passing, more content is being created.
More creators. More AI-generated content. Every platform.

Meanwhile, attention spans are decreasing and everyone is fighting for the same few seconds.
The window to grab attention is getting smaller.
And the cost of creating content is becoming almost zero.

But also funny how the internet is now full of people talking about:
“too much content fighting for attention”
…and those posts also get attention.

At this point, people are fighting for attention by talking about people fighting for attention.
